A beautiful piece of heaven I was a pleasure to be in this place and the whole family enjoyed themselves. The canoes and the fire pit were a big hit. Jacuzzi was well received.

Perfect location! Unobstructed views of Lake Max from the 2 main bedrooms on the first floor and living space. Very close to town and not too far from the academy. I would rent this house again for the location and the views!

We have been going to Indiana Beach since 1976, A few years back, we found this beautiful house. And I look forward to it every year. The view is beautiful. It’s peaceful spacious plenty of rooms for myself and grandchildren.

My group and I absolutely LOVED this house! It had the perfect large kitchen/living room space for us to gather while making dinner, watching a movie, & doing crafts, with lots of sleeping options as well! The view is absolutely beautiful & it was so relaxing to sit on the porch in the evening & morning together. Erica was so helpful & flexible which was so appreciated when we all were driving far to get there! We loved our little getaway!!

I was literally shocked at how much our family loved this place, and we only stayed 1 night passing through on a cross country trip. The host was meticulous with his hospitality—this was a million times better than staying at a hotel for the night. What stood out to me, besides the cleanliness and thoughtful amenities, was the furniture and decor. I loved the chairs in the billiard room (did not utilize the billiards as we don’t know how to play). I spent a large portion of the night scanning the internet for similar chairs; they were so comfortable yet regal. The living room furniture and decor was excellent. The modern yet comfortable furnishings allowed me to relax in a tranquil space. Additionally, the backyard/lake area is gorgeous. I watched the sunset and my dog fought sticks. My family of 5 would give this places 10/10. If I am ever in Indiana, again, this would be the place to go. (In addition, I appreciated the technological aspects)

We enjoyed our stay. It’s right on the lake and absolutely beautiful. There are a lot of stairs so not the best if you have mobility issues. Would definitely recommend!

We have stayed here several times it’s our go to place when we come to the the area. Owner has improved the outdoor landscaping and it looks great! Lakefront with great view! I recommend booking early!

Amazing place, great house. The only downfall was the amount of TVs with zero Wi-Fi.

A true home away from home! They thought of everything a group might need during their stay at the lake and every piece of furniture was so comfy. Tons of toys for the little ones (including sand toys), and an entire second living area upstairs that the teens loved. If you forgot something I guarantee they have it there for you. They even left us an entire coffee cake from a local bakery, it was delicious and very thoughtful. We had guests of all ages and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

Had a fabulous time!!! Beautiful sunsets at night off the deck with a fire and a beautiful sunrise in the morning off the dock.., hibiscus and wild flowers were beautiful …, the kayaks and boat was a plus!! Should probably mention the eagles in the area and supply binoculars…. What a nice surprise as we were kayaking to see an eagle flying and to be able to watch them as we sat on the deck …., Was the cutest cottage…, clean and beds were very comfortable …, though was outside most of the time…. with perfect weather and no issues with mosquitoes or flies…. I can’t say enough about this place…, the bestie and I went and felt perfectly safe.., had the best time ever and can’t wait to be back…. Thanks for everything!!! Super pet friendly…., my friends Goldendoodle had a great time!!!!

Overall great experience. House is quite dated but as a friend said it’s a blast from the past and kinda grandma chic if you are into that kind of thing. Only issues we encountered were a lack of descent coffee mugs, a broken burner on the stovetop, and know the house is served by well water which had a strong smell and taste but they did have a filter/RO system installed in the kitchen. Communication with host was excellent and request for late checkout granted which was much appreciated. Hope to stay here again.

Me and my family had a wonderful time staying at Karen’s. She’s an amazing host, and her home is beautiful. I love the fact that it was really family friendly my kids had things to do. We played games, colored, cooked, watched movies,etc. the view of the lake is amazing its was so peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be back to stay!

The house was spotless and well organized. The lake view was amazing, and the house is designed to maximze the view. It was peaceful and the host made us feel at home. As we were visiting for graduation weekend for Notre Dame and Wabash, it was the perfect homebase for us. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We had the pleasure of staying at Kevin's house in July and it was great! The top deck has amazing furniture to sit on, do some bird watching and just hang out.The waterfall is very relaxing to hear up there and down by the firepit. Great location close to town and everything.
