Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Sammamish

I had an amazing weekend stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The cozy vibe and tasteful decor made it feel like a true getaway. One of the highlights was the spacious deck overlooking the lake, it was the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning while taking in the peaceful views. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, roasting marshmallows and unwinding under the stars. The private deck by the water was another favorite, great for lounging during the day and even better for fishing right off the dock. It was such a treat to enjoy quiet moments by the water throughout the day. Grant was a fantastic host, super responsive and helpful, which made everything easy and stress-free. I'd definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape. Would love to come back!

By far the best short term rental we have ever had! If you value the old school rental experience, this is the perfect place for you. The cottage is in beautiful, clean and in updated condition. The hosts are warm and welcoming - friendly and not intrusive at all. They reached out prior and had the cutest welcome basket with snacks and champagne. I can’t say enough about the space and surrounding areas! We had a blast using the kayaks and paddle board, and the hosts even dropped off some pool floats to use in the lake as well. Kitchen was stocked well, beds were comfortable and moderately firm. Everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. We will be back!

We flew kites by the beach, kayaked, and savored grilled oysters and wine as boats drifted by. And dinners with a view of majestic Mt. Rainier? Absolutely unforgettable. What an awesome place! Everyone loved it. The beds were comfy and the views were otherworldly. The water everywhere was gorgeous. All the little touches were thoughtful, such as the kayaks and cornhole. We loved hanging out here. The host was very responsive and thoughtful during check-in. We’d happily return!

We loved our stay! The deep sea / blue theme was so welcoming, and the location right on the shore was beautiful. Lots of birds and eagles and cute animals on the property. I fell in love with Edgar the black cat! Margo and Sam are so kind and wonderful. Highly recommend for a single person, 2 close friends, or couple's getaway!

I visited the cottage to escape the city for a few days. This place is absolutely adorable— completely drenched in natural sunlight. It manages to maintain its historical charm while also feeling modern. I did some remote work during the visit & the WiFi worked perfectly— I could even get signal sitting outside. It was a little too chilly to take advantage of the water, but even just sitting outside on the floating dock or the balcony provided a lot of peace. This place is the perfect mixture of providing a secluded feel while still being just a short drive to grocery/ restaurants. I truly loved my stay here & am already trying to figure out when I might be back!

Beautiful place and amazing view. Enjoyed being right on the water - rooms, decks, fire pit(s), and hot tub were amazing. Really enjoyed watching the sea otters in the Sound. Well cared for place.

I wish we had had more time in Lake Tapps and our stay there. You couldn’t ask for a better lakeside view and sunsets! The space was a good size for two adults and was in great condition. Very clean. Complimentary snacks and available use of kayaks, SUPs, fire pit, etc. were a nice touch, even if we didn’t get the chance to utilize all of them! Suzy was super nice and super responsive. If we find ourselves in or around Seattle again, I hope we can go back!

This place is amazing! I loved that it was like staying at a friend's house - it had so much character. Not boring and staged like a hotel. There wasn't an "owner's closet" like most rentals. Jess is a beautiful soul that shares her amazing space and genuinely wants you to enjoy every minute. From the decor to the records, hammock, outdoor tub, kayaks, exploring the low tide wildlife...everything brought peace and relaxation. We never even turned on the television...it was magical!

Awesome stay!!! The house and accomodations were fantastic and comfortable. Very relaxing and peaceful place to stay especially after long day hiking and spending time in the Seattle area. Worth the drive to Wye Lake especially with lake view and secluded location. Melissa is a wonderful and friendly host. She responded quickly and was very clear with instructions. This was such a lovely place to spend our honeymoon. Surrounded by nature in every direction, waking up to birds chirping and a beautiful lake view. There were so many small details, from extra toothbrushes and a blow dryer in the bathroom to twinkle lights on the patio for a romantic evening outside. Jordyn was so responsive and helpful! Love the accommodations. Beautiful area. My only comment is the roof is loud. We could hear all the rain drops hitting the metal roof. The whole family loved the house and we enjoyed the lake. The house is clean, sofa could be updated. Would definitely like to stay there again.

Great location with easy access to the beach. Kitchen was very well stocked with items and it felt like Joni spent some good time there. Neighbors were very friendly. I would like to return. The property was super clean and Joni was very responsive and friendly host.

Annie’s place is a beachcomber’s dream! The house had everything we needed to be comfortable, and the location is great. The views are spectacular, especially if you’re looking for a place to watch eagles soaring high above, seals playing in the Puget Sound, and there was even the cutest little beach raccoon scavenging for shellfish. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage on the water! The surroundings are very peaceful. Nice to watch the tides. the kitchen was well outfitted includingna gas range and teapot! Loved it, thanks, Erin!

Me and my daughter had a very relaxing mini vacation at the A-Frame cabin. The water views were stunning. I highly recommend this airbnb location.
