Come stay at our newly remodeled family lake cabin located on Cain Lake. Extra love was put into this place as it has been passed down the generations. Open concept from the kitchen to the dining room into the living room overlooking the lake. Extra family room perfect for game night. Venture outside to the large deck surrounded by bliss. Take it all in down at the large dock with views of the rest of the lake. This cabin is not perfect but is dear to our heart so please treat it like your own.

One of my dreams was to take my two dogs and my beautiful wife to a cozy home deep in the mountains. After searching for a long time, I found this place—and it was everything we hoped for. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. It felt like stepping into a warm, thoughtful space where every detail was cared for. Each room had windows that opened to stunning views, and the landscape outside looked like a painting. Just a short walk away, there was a lovely sauna and a cold plunge pool surrounded by trees. We relaxed there while listening to the soft sounds of rain and birds. For a family used to the noise of the city, this trip gave us a chance to slow down and focus on each other. We rested, laughed, and shared moments we’ll never forget. This wasn’t just a trip—it was something we’ll carry with us for a long time.

One of the best stays we’ve had. This is just the loveliest setting, with so many activities. The cabin is absolutely rustic but if your emphasis is on the outdoors and the location rather than amenities you’ll love it as much as we did. We grilled for friends and fished and swam and hiked and played uno flip for hours. We’ll be back!

Very cute and cozy space. The mattress and pillows are amazingly comfortable. I think they are high quality memory foam. I was so happy about the mattress and the pillows! Everything is clean and neat. The shower had great water pressure and was turning both hot and cold very easily. Also, the lake Emerald is only a few minutes walk away. Perfect for taking a recharging nature walk after a busy day out. Finding the location and checking in was easy and smooth. Thank you for the detailed description. Thank you for hosting me. 😊

From booking to check in, stay to check out, this was a beyond great experience! Everything about the property was purely magical. The landscaping was natural and beautiful to explore. The cottage was cozy, just the right size for a couple's getaway. There was even ice ready in the freezer, a stocked bathroom including feminine supplies, and a detailed binder of all the nearby hikes. Dana was so friendly and responsive, and even George the pup was ready for a sweet chin scratch. We loved every moment of our stay, and for sure hope to visit this wooded oasis again in the future!

My family rented this house for my daughter’s graduation weekend, and it was PERFECT. We had six people in our party, plus our labradoodle, and we had more than enough space. The beds were comfortable, was were the couches. However, what we loved the most was the gourmet kitchen. We made wonderful meals and we celebrated together. With this said, we also had three separate decks with fire places and a jacuzzi. Bottom line, this house is gorgeous, spacious, private and well-designed. We made wonderful memories this weekend. Thank you!

John’s Singletrack Shack was the perfect base for a few days in Bellingham. Super close to the Galbraith trails, comfy bed, and had everything we needed. Great spot for a birthday getaway!
