Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Päijänne

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. Thank you very much.

Rustic, peaceful and charming place. Everything was ready for our arrival. We loved our stay and Piritta was very helpful in solving some issues we had with our travel arrangements before arriving and towards the end of our stay. I can whole-heartedly recommend this place for anyone looking for some peace and quiet away from the city.

Erittäin kodikas, tilava ja rauhallinen majoitus ja silti vain kahden kilometrin päässä hiihtokeskuksesta.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. The interior was clean and cozy, with plenty of space for a small group or family. The host was friendly and responsive, which made check-in and communication easy. The cottage was well-equipped with Essentials for a comfortable visit. I recommend this stay to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy retreat.

Absolutely pristine place for a girls weekend away from our routines! We Enjoyed hot tubbing and sauna, and slept so well! The cute Kyläkauppa served us well for souvenirs!

Vietimme polttareita tässä majoituksessa, ja paikka oli juuri sopiva siihen tarkoitukseen! Majoituksen lämmin tunnelma ja sisustus loi hyvää fiilistä. Karaokelaitteet ja mahdollisuus paljuun olivat iso plussa. Pia oli erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias, mikä teki koko järjestelystä mutkattoman. Suosittelemme lämpimästi tätä kohdetta erityisesti porukalla matkustaville – upea kokemus!✨

We had a nice as a group with 4 young kids. We enjoyed the great scenery through the large front windows, and especially the nice sauna and the hot tub. The kids loved running around the yard and making s’mores at the fire pit. Nice and private space, likely even better in the summer with the lake. The attention to detail in the house and facilities is really top notch and the house is clutter free (excellent for young kids). The only drawback I’d mention is that the lake water that comes from the sink and shower smells & tastes bad, but it wasn’t really an issue for us as the filter tap for drinking water in the kitchen works great. Just something to bear in mind. Overall, great time and would return.

Ein Paradies in der Natur. Das schönste und perfekteste AirBnb, das wir je erleben durften. Es war ein Traum. Alles war neu und sehr gut gepflegt. Hannu hat an alles gedacht - vom schönen Boot, kleinem Pfad auf die eigene Insel mit Grillplatz bis zur kompletten Einrichtung an Gartenmmöbeln, Fliegengittern und einer wunderschönen Sauna. Die Natur ist unbeschreiblich ! In vier Stunden sind wir um den grossen See gerudert. Man erlebt die finnischen Seen Landschaft in voller Pracht … Wasser, Weite, Bäume, Himmel… Die Villa ist so privat, es gibt keine Nachbarn weit und breit. Du bist allein und geniesst den Luxus der Villa. Ulla und Hannu wohnen 1km weiter weg und sind fürsorglich für dich da, wenn du etwas benötigst. Denk nicht nach, buche es, du wirst ein Juwel vorfinden. Zudem ist es auf der richtigen Seite mit Sonne bis Mitternacht im Sommer. Unvergesslich.

I loved the place! So beautiful, clean and peaceful! 🩷 i left My charger in the house and the owner was so helpful and was very flexible with me, i got it back the next day. She answered very fast and was so helpful with everything. I Will stay here again for sure! 10/10 🩷

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt, es war alles vorhanden, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, etwas abgelegen, aber man kann mit dem Bus alles erreichen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Ihanan kotoisa ja kaunis mökki! Viihtyisä ja siisti. Sari oli ystävällinen emäntä. Paikka oli kun pieni pesä metsän siimeksessä. Harmi, ettemme ehtineet istumaan lasitetulla terassilla takkaloimun äärellä. Suuri suositus! 👍🏻

Oikein hyvällä paikalla, tarvittavat palvelut lyhyen matkan päässä, matkan syyn kohteeseen vain n 2 km matkaa. Oli mukavan hiljainen ja rauhallinen paikka sekä julkista liikennettä ajatellen pysäkkejä lyhyen matkan päässä.

Visited the place for two nights. Beautiful lake view, nice and cosy apartment. Host was responsive and helpful, check-in and checkout went very smoothly. Overall a great experience 👍

La vue depuis le balcon est incroyable! Jussu habite dans le même immeuble donc il était disponible rapidement à notre arrivé. L'appartement dispose d'une chambre avec un lit double et Jussi propose, dans le salon, soit de rajouter un lit supplémentaire ou un canapé convertible. Les animaux de compagnies sont acceptés, il y a même des gamelles à disposition. Il y a plus que assez de choses pour prendre un petit déjeuner : des céreales, du lait (normal et avoine) du pain, du yaourt, des jus, du beurre, des biscuits, des bananes et également tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner. Nous étions donc très bien reçus 🙂. De plus, l'appartement est super calme. Le logement situe à environ 10 minutes du centre ville en voiture. Jussi propose une place de parking privée sur place (elle tient un camping car). Je ne peux que recommander l'appartement de Jussi, du luxe! Merci beaucoup 🙂

Siisti asunto. Erityis maininnat ilmainen pysäköinti parkkihallissa, kiva lasitettu parveke ja polkupyörät, joilla oli näppärä kulkea mm keskustaan.

Siisti, tilava, rauhallinen ja asunnossa kaikki tarvittava. Löytyy oma autopaikkakin. Hyvä kokemus.

En mycket bra vistelse i Mäntyharju. Allting fungerade som förväntat och Piia svarade alltid snabbt om jag hade någon fråga. Perfekt hub för oss som var där för att träna och tävla.

Very nice sauna house for the skiers to take a rest and enjoy sauna. Had lots of space for 5 people. Recommend!
