Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Michigan

Very nice house on a beautiful lake Odessa. Look exactly like the pictures. Very peaceful place. Kids love it by the water and was able to fish all day. Would definitely consider going back.

This place is super cute! The living room and dining room were spacious enough to fit 6 adults comfortably. The shower stayed hot for all of us to take showers in the morning one right after the other. It's close to Saugatuck and Douglas which are both great communities to visit and there are so many cute shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I just had a great stay for our 10 Year Anniversary. Our only wish was that we had stayed longer. The downtown is in a very quick walking distance which made checking out shopping and restaurants very easy. The cottage was very cute and overall very well maintained. We hope to spend time here again in the future!

We had an amazing stay at Jerry’s place. We felt very welcomed. We are very thankful we had the opportunity to stay here. It just seemed like the perfect fit. Very nice house to stay on the lake and nice hot tub as well.

This place is so pretty. It was very spacious and the surroundings were gorgeous! We did not want to live. We felt like we were home and the beach was only a few minutes away. Zach was very helpful and responsive and very accommodating. The only thing we did not like was that the landscaping people were there twice during our stay. Waking up our baby one morning. We also had an issue w one of the hammocks but did not address this with Zach until after our stay.

What a great stay! I love an A frame and this house was perfect. It was well stocked - even had plenty of wood for the fire pit. The s'mores welcome kit was perfect. I will say that if you have a hard time with stairs then this house probably isn't for you because the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs but Carrie has several other homes to choose from. It really is peaceful. There are neighbors but they are quiet and we only saw one set of neighbors the three days we were there. The dirt roads to the house weren't bad either. I will stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family. Actually am seriously considering taking my 3 college age daughters for a girls' weekend.

Easy check-in and felt right at home. Jennifer was always responsive to messages. She also gave great suggestions for food etc. The house is located perfectly for walking to the beach, market, restaurants, coffee. It is also a great location for quick travels to New Buffalo, Three Oaks, Michigan City and more. We will visit again for sure!

We had a great time staying at Amy's place! It is the perfect size for a couple. It feels very cozy and like you are actually staying at someone's home vs. the sterile Airbnbs that are owned by corporate entities these days. The property is as described. It is very private, yet close to everything! I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Very relaxing environment. Close to several restaurants and small businesses. Robert was very responsive when we had questions and was very nice. We got to meet several of the llamas and the livestock guardian dogs which was awesome!! We will be back for sure.

We had a truly magical stay at Rob’s place in the woods. Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect escape. The house is just a short 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach.The house itself was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. While the walk up to the house involves a bit of a climb—which could be challenging for someone with bad knees—it didn’t bother us. The living room and bedrooms were spacious and relaxing, and we had no issues with the well water during our stay. The kitchen is in a separate building from the main living space, which took a little getting used to, but it was well-equipped for all our needs. One suggestion would be to upgrade the electric stove, which felt a bit outdated and at times posed some safety concerns. The electric grill also looks quite old and could use a deep clean, but it still worked well enough for us to grill all of our meals. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled escape.

I have a wonderful time here celebrating my 30th birthday. Even tho the weather was raining I still had such an amazing time, it was so peaceful and relaxing! It literally felt like I was home

We absolutely loved the location of this adorable cottage right in town and so walkable to everywhere in Saugatuck. The views were great and the chairs on the patio looking out on the water were so relaxing. The bed was comfy and it had everything we needed. I also loved that they had cable, so we could relax for a bit before bed and not have to try to remember passwords to log into our streaming platforms.

**Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return. Thank you, Teresa, for providing such a wonderful getaway! 😊

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the blue kettle. It was clean, host was responsive when needed and we had a wonderful time in the surrounding area.

This was our 3rd time staying at the cottage and it’s just a comfortable place!

Little Skip Cottage is perfectly located between Sutton Bay and Northport making it easy to enjoy what each area has to offer. Carolyn was quick to respond to our questions about the area and offered suggestions of hikes in the area. The cottage was welcoming and cozy and beautifully decorated. We were able to fix meals in the kitchen that was well stocked and loved all the little “extras” like a coffee bar, spices and condiments. We hope to return soon to one of our favorite places.

Beautiful place with great views. Lake Michigan views makes it look like you’re waking up in the gulf or even on the ocean. Great space with everything you need! This Airbnb had better views than most of the downtown attractions! Great host! Super helpful and always responsive. We will be back!

My family and I had an amazing and wonderful time at Erick’s home. It was clean, well put together and it felt like home. Erick was so helpful and inviting we felt like family. I can’t thank you enough Erick for helping my family and I make beautiful memories. BTW the walk to beach was a piece of cake, and I’m 5 months pregnant. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️💨. This cozy cabin is in a perfect location, just a short drive from so many great spots. Despite being close to the owners’ house, I felt like I had complete privacy, especially with the deck facing the woods and the fire pit area all to ourselves. The space is small but thoughtfully equipped with everything you need, making it a perfect retreat for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway.

Better than described. Patti thought of all the little things and more.. We had a great time at the cottage and enjoyed fishing, boating, and relaxing times. It was a perfect getaway to unwind and allow for a great experience for my young daughter. 100% would recommend and will be booking again soon.

The cottage has become my favorite local getaway. The atmosphere always feels light and it’s cozy in every way. The hosts are always responsive, down to earth and helpful. The cottage is thoughtfully planned for a stay. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need to make a full meal. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Also the view from the living/dining is amazing. It’s farmland but so picturesque! The beds are comfortable and the place is CLEAN. Which I appreciate so much! I can’t say enough good about the cottage! My friends that have come with me love it and say they will be coming back also. This definitely checks the boxes on a nice peaceful getaway. Thanks James and Jourdan for always giving us a great getaway! We will be back :)

Bluewater Bliss was the perfect place to stay near Traverse City and host our friends from British Columbia on their first road trip to the area! Peaceful, lovely views, lots of birds including ducks loons and one turtle! Our friends enjoyed the setting and loved the kayaking! Jeffrey was the consummate host and very responsive to our inquiries!
