Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Martin

We spent 4 nights together with our family. Justine’s place was perfect for the family to gather in the open living room/kitchen area. The sofas had several recliners and plenty of seating for the 11 of us. My parents use walkers and the first floor was easy for them to move about. The main floor bathrooms have walk in showers and rails in the toilet area. In addition, there were 2 lift recliners for those needing help standing from sitting position. The upstairs was great for the young adults to hang out later at night. Overall we loved Justine’s place and are planing on visiting again in the near future. Oh, the sunsets are gorgeous!! The house is absolutely beautifully decorated! It is in a peaceful location and less than 15 min away from Russell Crossroads. The beds were dreamy and it was impeccably clean. Would be fun for three couples (one would have to take the bunk room), or a family with responsible kids. Would recommend but probably wouldn't take small children there as I would be afraid they would mess something up! I also wish that the fireplaces were working (they might have been but they didn't look used and we didn't ask!) as we rented in December and it would have been cozy to build a fire. Overall great stay and very romantic and cozy in winter.

Amazing place with wonderful dock ! Great kitchen if you are going to be cooking! Love that there were not lots of stairs to climb or steep incline to get to water!

We had a girls' weekend here, and this place was better than we planned for. The house had everything to the detail and even more. We felt right at home and very comfortable. Our expectations for a clean environment are very high, and we were all pleased and impressed. The screen porch was our favorite spot to spend mornings and evenings together. Pool and lake area provided fun activities too....we were able to paddle board and socialize at the pool with other guests even. Everyone there was very friendly. We went to a few restaurants listed on their guidebook and absolutely enjoyed them. Overall, this place is wonderful.

Beautiful lake house with plenty of room. The home was clean and had everything we needed. House was as described and as in the photos. Very beautiful, quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We felt safe at this location. This home is especially great for large families as there is so much room. It was clean and the beds were so comfy. There were so many bonuses at this home such as 2 washers and 2 dryers, plenty of supplies-towels/wash cloths, detergents, toiletries, even propane for grill and outside fire pit. I highly recommend this place! Kim was an excellent host!

We enjoyed our stay. We were attending our son’s graduation from Auburn. Accommodations were great for entire family.

Wonderful place to stay and relax. Pool was great and just loved being on the lake! Jeb was great in his response to all our questions. Definitely will be going again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Keith's place! The listing was very accurate and was even better in person! Fabulous kitchen with everything you can imagine, bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and so well appointed with just great touches, such as charging stations at each side of the bed, TV's in every bedroom, great blackout drapes if you want to sleep in and nice quality towels. The living room had really comfortable furniture, and beautiful fireplace, great tv. Then there is the outside. We sat out on the back porch every morning to have coffee & were entertained by all the many birds, chipmunks & squirrels. We enjoyed the firepit nightly and cooked a few of our meals on the grill. It was so peaceful on the lake & such a beautiful setting! I highly recommend Keith's place if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. We truly could not have had a better stay anywhere else.

We adored this lake house. It was beautiful, the river was so much fun to kayak on and the large porch/patio was perfect for relaxing in the evening. We enjoyed s'mores at the fire pit and watching the sunrise from the dock. The kids enjoyed the giant Jenga set and playing Cornhole. The house easily accommodated my family for an Easter get together. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Thank you, Kim, for such a delightful weekend getaway!

We stayed over Memorial Weekend, and even with the extra lake traffic due to the holiday weekend, we never felt like there were that many people around us. It was quiet and so peaceful, and the cove attached to the house was perfect for our three elementary aged children who spent most of the day swimming and playing with their canoe, kayaks and paddle board! The hot tub was clean and we all used it quite a bit. We didn't use the fire pit, but the fire pit area with the swings is so pretty! They really have a fantastic property.

We had the best weekend here celebrating our daughter’s birthday with a few of her friends. A lot of great memories were made! The home was perfect for our needs. It’s a really cute lake home and in a beautiful location. Everything was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. Our host Ivy was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful view of the lake, a nice swimming area, great pier, and all the comforts of home.

We absolutely love getting to stay here! The kids loved fishing and exploring the creek. The hot tub was so nice! The bed is extremely comfortable. It rained one of the days we were here and playing cornhole and games with the family was a highlight of the trip. Donna and Randy are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. We are already planning when we can come back again asap!

Beautiful house, the pictures don’t do it justice! Everything was just as described and we had an excellent stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Hard to describe— It will go down in our family vacation as best vacation we have had Ever. Duck House — forever know as because of the ducks that quacked for food every night by deck railing at around 6:00 pm— was magical, and a slice of Heaven for our family— kayaks need updating/replacing and bigger quanity number but!

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was — it ended up being so lovely that we added an extra night because we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to leave! Gina is not only communicative and helpful, but genuinely kind and it shows! From thoughtful details (small container of coffee to get you started, makeup towels, coloring books - we didn’t travel with children but what a nice touch) to a beautiful setting, we couldn’t have asked for more! The serene location on the lake was quiet and beautiful but we also appreciated the contemporary comforts of wi-fi and a smart tv so that we could watch a little football after spending our day out in nature. The best of both worlds! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back to visit again soon!!!
