Matt’s place was lovely - it was very clean and really warm which was great as it’s rather cold in June. It is modern and had everything that we needed for our stay - highly, highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this spacious studio right in the heart of Te Anau. The place was clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom which was spotless. One of the highlights was having access to a washer and dryer — such a convenience when traveling! Matt even went the extra mile and got a brand new dryer, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-equipped, centrally located place to stay.

Such a brilliant home to have stayed in, the perfect place for exploring Te Anau and for our day trip to Milford Sound! The home is even more spacious than the photos suggest, is spotlessly clean, and incredibly cosy with the gas fireplace that warms up the living room in just a few minutes - we didn’t even need to put the heater on and we stayed when it was 7 degrees out. Arriving to a HUGE hamper of treats like fruits, crisps, snacks, sweet treats and milk etc was such a generous and special touch - thank you so much Heather! Bed is super comfy and it’s an incredibly quiet location, despite being walkable to plenty of restaurants.

One of the prettiest Airbnb I had visited. Very new and stylish, feels like I'm in a HGTV house. Will hope to stay again if I ever visit the area.

This Airbnb was great! A very comfortable, well appointed, modern, clean and bright living space with plenty of room for the 6 of us. The kitchen worked well with lots of utensils to make cooking v easy. The bedrooms were small but well furnished, the beds very comfy and the 2 bathrooms spotless with plenty of towels. The outdoor are with its fireplace was a real bonus and allowed us to relax and eat outside even in the cool evenings. Thank you for sharing this lovely home.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The home was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and perfectly located for exploring the area. What really stood out was how incredibly family-friendly the place was. There were plenty of toys and books to keep our 2-year-old son entertained—he absolutely loved it and felt right at home. The host, Mel, had clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable. From the welcome chocolates to the lovely bottle of wine, every detail made us feel special. There was also a wealth of local recommendations and guides neatly provided, which made planning our outings so much easier and more enjoyable. Mel was very responsive and helpful throughout, ensuring a smooth and relaxing experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this home, especially for families with young children. We’d love to return!

Perfect location for night’s stay before our Doubtful Sound day cruise. Walking distance to launch point. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals. The place was clean and very comfortable. There are good laundry facilities.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Wendy and Peter made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The heater was on, and the house was all cosy, which was such a welcome touch on a chilly winter's day. A handwritten note, chocolate on the pillows, homemade baked goods, and even a sprig of lavender on the clean tea towels—every detail was thought of. The beds and couch were incredibly comfy, and the place was spotless. We came to see the glowworms, and it was just a 10-minute walk to the tour—such a perfect location, right near the centre of Te Anau. We felt so comfortable and relaxed here. Highly recommend!

Simone's place was our favorite stay during our south island road trip! The whole interior is so elegantly designed and thoughtfully put together down to the details. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need, the beds were so comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious. Simone also left an awesome booklet of local recommendations for food and things to do nearby. The house's location is a short drive into town for restaurants or groceries, and is a great stop for a day trip into Milford Sound. 100% would come back, we didn't want to leave!
