The home is located in historic Hayes Barton, close to downtown Raleigh and Glenwood South district. Hayes Barton is a safe, shady historic neighborhood with cafes, restaurants and breweries within walking distance. Charming Vintage Cottage Circa 1906.

My 1906 little house is completely restored farmhouse that my great grandparents brought to our property during the depression. Our guest cottage is tucked away behind the main house where we live. It has original shiplap boards in the open living room and kitchenette with beautiful pine floors throughout the 700 square-foot house. There is a separate bedroom with 12 foot lofted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight throughout. We know you will feel good the moment you walk through the door.

Had a great time at this spot! Stanley’s home was lovely and well kept, and my bedroom was very cozy. During my stay, i accidentally locked myself out of my room, and Stanley was there immediately to resolve the issue. He had to take a lot of time out of his day to help me, and he was super understanding about it. Highly recommend!

A wonderful charming little home with a very private bedroom and bathroom. The ambiance with all of Mariah's passions/decorations along with the welcoming host cat Zuzu who even led us to our room made the experience feel like we were really welcomed into this special place. The amenities were well stocked and the room was very comfortable. Would highly recommend! My favorite Airbnb in all my stays so far.

Great stay! This was my second time here, and it was just as good as the first. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the whole place had a warm, welcoming feel. The host was genuinely friendly—one of those people who made you feel at home without being overbearing. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, which made it easy to relax. All around, a great experience again. I’d definitely stay here in the future.
