Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Inari

If you're thinking about visiting Ivalo, this house is the best option. The location is excellent, just a very short distance from downtown for shopping. It's very quiet, the heating works great, it has a sauna that works very well, and the house has all the amenities you see in the photos. I traveled with my partner and we were both delighted. Niklas as a host was fantastic—he always responded to all our messages, was constantly attentive to our needs, and provided us with plenty of information about the city and its surroundings; he even took us on a night excursion to see the auroras! Totally recommended.

Great house close to the Ivalo centre with all amenities within short walk. Host was very helpfull, friendly, easygoing with quick replies to all questions. We stayed there for nearly a month. For such a long stay is house fully equipped and you will find there everything what is needed. Can only highly recommend it.

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war Super. Der Pool eignet sich perfekt um die Nordlichter bei dem kalten Wetter ein paar Stunden zu genießen. Das Haus ist sehr Modern eingerichtet und zum Kochen sind reichlich Utensilien vorhanden. In der Stadt konnten wir problemlos ein Schneemobil mieten. Joseph hat bei der Bestellung des Schneemobils geholfen, so dass der Ladenbesitzer direkt bescheid wusste. Für das Ausleihen reicht übrigens ein Autofühererschein aus und in der Umgebung gibt es einige Strecken nur für Schneemobile in den Bergen. Zum Einkaufen sind wir immer zu dem K-Markt gefahren über die Finische Grenze. Dieser ist nur 10 Minuten entfernt. Auch gibt es an der Grenze eine Rentier zucht wo man das Fleich direkt vom Hersteller kaufen konnten. Ich kann den Aufenthalt sehr empfelen!

Ons verblijf in de villa was fantastisch! Het huis heeft alle voorzieningen om er een goede vakantie van te maken en de host is erg vriendelijk. De host kwam speciaal naar het vliegveld om ons de weg te wijzen en aan te wijzen waar het in de winter glad kan zijn op de weg. Ook konden we activiteiten via de host regelen. Bij aankomst lagen er Finse lekkernijen op ons te wachten en toen het noorderlicht zichtbaar was, kregen we een berichtje. Erg attent! Ik zou deze accommodatie absoluut aanraden. We hebben een prachtige vakantie gehad!

Toller & lieber Gastgeber, sehr schnelle Reaktionszeit. Das Haus ist super groß. Tolle Ausgangslage für Polarlichter, wir haben auch direkt über dem Haus welche gesehen. Am besten aber ein Auto nehmen oder beachten, dass nicht so viele Busse fahren.

This place and its surroundings are simply so beautiful! As much coziness, peace and quiet as you can wish for. And still so much to do and see! We recommend a day trip to Tanamunningen / Høyholmen as well as exploration of the nature just around the cottage, snow shoes made that easy. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as can always happen but the house absolutely made up for that: great sauna, fireplace, grilling sausage outside by the fire in the snow and playing board games and simply watching the amazing landscape. Our stay at Minna and Jyrki's place was fantastic. Jyrki got us in contact with Minna and she welcomed us on the first day with a small tour of the house and with a lot of suggestions of what to do in the surroundings. They were always attentive to our questions and did a great job so we could enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend to stay there, it was overall great!

Incredibly beautiful family home in a stunning location! We loved everything about this place, the interior design, the veranda, the sauna and the cute family cat!😊

Viihdyimme erinomaisesti tässä majoituksessa viikon ajan. Rauhallinen sijainti lähellä kylän palveluita ja latuja. Mökki oli hyvin varusteltu ja erittäin siisti. Tilaa oli ruhtinaallisesti kolmelle pariskunnalle, oma vessa jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa helpotti elämää. Ari oli joustava ja selkeästi viestivä isäntä. Kiitos!

Teemu vastasi nopeasti viesteihin ja oli heti valmiina tukemaan jos jotain kysyttävää oli. Majoitus oli ihan huippuluokkaa, kaikki uutta ja sujuvaa.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich. Es ist ruhig und das Zentrum ist trotzdem fußläufig erreichbar. Die Langlauf Loipen sind nur ein paar Meter entfernt. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist die perfekte Basis für einen gelungenen Skiurlaub. Hier kann man Lappland erleben. Tiina war sehr hilfsbereit und alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We had a very nice time in the house of Antti. The location was perfect for us. It was very calm and peaceful. The location was also perfect to watch Northern lights. We had an incredible show in the sky just from above the house. Even though we always clean the houses we stay, I would prefer to pay an extra fee for the cleaning. That will reduce the little stress at the departure.

Juhani est très accueillant et aimable. Il a répondu à toute nos questions concernant l’accès et à même acheté des équipement supplémentaire. Malheureusement les condition climatique extrême (-30°) et un accès totalement enneigé en pleine nuit nous on contraint à marcher dans la poudreuse, le froid quant à lui nous a aussi contraint à écourter notre séjour mais ce cottage est un havre de paix , parfaitement situé au bord du lac avec l’électricité, ce dernier a tout le confort nécessaire. Merci à Juhani d’avoir accepté d’écourter notre séjour et pour toute sa bienveillance. En hiver je conseille ce logement à des sportifs pour y accéder et des personnes habituées à des conditions de vie en pleine nature.

Super Unterkunft an toller Lage. Hat alles was man so für eine Woche in Saariselkä braucht. Die Sauna ist toll und die Aussicht auf der Terasse zur Abkühlung ausgezeichnet. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal 😃

Dziękujemy Marianne za gościnę. Domek przytulny, idealny dla 4 osób. Wyposażenie domku bardzo dogodne, było w nim wszystko co trzeba na tygodniowy pobyt. Łóżka wygodne, w salonie miejsce do spędzania czasu po południu, internet działa bez zarzutu. Dobre położenie domku, na uboczu, cisza i zaledwie 20 min. spacerem do sklepu, restauracji, barów i innych atrakcji miasteczka. Nie mieliśmy samochodu, ale to w niczym nie przeszkadzało. Do tras biegówkowych dochodziliśmy w kilka minut. Marianne poradziła nam jak najlepiej dojechać z lotniska, uprzedzała jak pojawiała się zorza. Jak mieliśmy jakiekolwiek pytania przed albo w czasie pobytu zawsze odpowiadała w ciągu kilku minut. Dom Marianne był bardzo dobrym miejscem na tygodniowy pobyt. Bardzo rekomenduję! Dziękujemy i pozdrawiamy.

Our one-night stay at the house was a very pleasant experience. The host was friendly and accommodating, and the flexible check-in was very convenient for our travel schedule. The house itself was very easy to find and access as it was well visible from afar and could be driven to (right to the front door) by a well maintained road suitable for any car. The house is situated with a beautiful view over the Tana river, which we enjoyed from the large terrace. We were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the newly renovated space was, especially the beautiful and functional kitchen. The home had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated the thought given to ensuring a good night's sleep, with quality blinds on all the windows. As Finns, we were also able to appreciate a proper sauna. We would happily recommend Hans Henry's house to anybody.

Maggie’s accommodation is a fairytale-like place in a picture-perfect setting. We had the Northern Lights right in front of the terrace and looked forward to the sauna and the cozy stove at home after every adventure. We would have loved to stay longer and are 100% thrilled with both the accommodation and the area.

Firstly, a big thank you to Riku’s. Even before we arrived he was very kind & helpful. Couldn’t recommend this property more highly. As soon as you drive into the area it’s like winter wonderland. The house is even nicer than the photos! Oh the view from the warmth of the cosy house was such a treat. So super private too. We hired a car & picked it up from the airport so it was very easy to get around. The beds were very comfortable & so were the pillows! My husband & son enjoyed the hot coals in the sauna at the house . Near bye there is a natural ice bath (March) nearby. We did so many activities. Husky ride was wonderful. A beginners country ski lesson & we all loved the snow habitants too. We also visited the reindeer. We didn’t see the Northern Lights but to be honest the whole trip was so amazing that it didn’t matter.

Wir haben uns in der Hütte von Teija wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt und wären auch gerne länger dort geblieben. Wir fanden es total schön, dass wir die Möglichkeit hatten ein Lagerfeuer anzumachen und zu grillen. Die Umgebung ist durch den Wald und die Nähe zum See sehr ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Hütte an sich ist sehr modern eingerichtet und wird mit einer Wärmepumpe gewärmt/gekühlt. Außerdem war Teija jederzeit erreichbar, unglaublich freundlich und bot mit ihrem Gästebuch viele hilfreiche Tipps an :) Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen 😊

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful cosy cabin. Very special to have our morning coffee in one their beautiful cups overlooking the snowy white forest from the kitchen table . One morning we even saw a white snow rabbit running past. We enjoyed the restaurant recommendations and walking there from the cabin. The kids loved the sleighs to play around the cabin in the snow. Looking forward to seeing it in summer!

Mukava pieni saunamökki, lähellä tietä mutta rauhallinen sijainti. Saunassa hyvät löylyt. Majoittajan kanssa sujui viestittely nopeasti. Kaikki toimi niinkuin kuvauksessa kerrottiin.

Kuvausta vastaava mökki. Majoittajalta hyvät ohjeet ja mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava muutaman päivän vierailuun. Retkeilyreiteille pääsee takapihalta. Sijainti on rauhallinen, mutta ei yksityinen, eli naapurit löytyvät näköyhteyden päässä. Itse en tätä hoksannut varausta tehdessä, mutta ei haitannut meitä, koska mökit olivat tyhjillään vierailumme ajan.

Exceptionnel et magique, nous n'avons pas d'autres mots. Les photos parlent d'elles-mêmes, la cabane est luxueuse et les vues sont à couper le souffle. L'emplacement est incroyable, en pleine nature sauvage, face au lac Inari. C'est bien plus qu'un hébergement, c'est une expérience à vivre une fois dans sa vie (et ça ne sera pas la dernière pour nous ;)). Nous avons passé 2 nuits sous les aurores boréales, exploré le lac gelé (en luge avec notre fille de 2 ans et en raquette en grimpant sur une petite colline où la vue sur les centaines d’îles du lac d’Inari était à couper le souffle.) Nous avons aussi grillé des S’mores au feu de bois, profité de séances de sauna suivies de roulades dans la neige, cherché de l’eau dans un trou creusé dans la glace… Tout est très bien pensé pour ne manquer de rien et vivre une expérience authentique en Laponie. Un grand merci à Pekka de partager ce petit lieu de paradis. Bref, nous le recommandons à tous, il faut le vivre pour le croire...
