Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Hartwell

This was one of my most favorite stays! This was like something out of a movie. Truly, this is the ultimate lake house with the epitome of what everyone envisions when they think lake house. The orange house was decorated beautifully, but not overdone, perfect lake house ambiance. The top deck view of the home over looking the lake was nothing short of magical. Whether it rained or not, it was wonderful to sit and view inside and stay put. The direct doc access and water toys in addition to games, WiFi, and the state of the art hot tub, made this a vacation with choices. With so much available to do, we were never bored. Waking up to deer in the front yard and a visit from the lake cat, it felt like we were in a fairytale. My daughter, boyfriend, and I truly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back and stay here again. Marvin was an amazing host making sure we got in okay and asking if we needed anything. I feel fully refreshed coming back from vacation. So grateful!

AMAZING! Christine’s place is an absolute gem and she is an absolutely amazing host. Everything was as planned and even more. Great lake community, really peaceful with a 2 min walk to beach area. House was perfect size and spotless. This is a great spot and Christine is super helpful and responsive. Also was surprised how short of a drive it was from all the things you could need, restaurants, stores, etc. and best of all real close to Clemson!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! This home truly felt like our own—comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was available, making our trip smooth and enjoyable. The location is also super convenient, which was a big plus. Kait & Beau were fantastic hosts—very responsive, kind, and accommodating throughout our stay. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. Home was better than expected, absolutely beautiful. Great location, steep walk to the dock but typical for this area. Home had all the extras. Lori was helpful and provided an air pump for our tube.

Perfect home for a family or group. Very spacious and clean, fully stocked kitchen we cooked dinner every night! The dock was perfect for tanning and swimming, our daughters also loved the kayaks and paddle board. Very peaceful location. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a lake trip! Great little place to stay on the lake. House was as pictured and had plenty of beds. Kitchen had pretty much what’s needed for basic meals, we cooked inside everyday. What I didn’t expect was how big the yard was, the kids had plenty of room and I wish I would’ve brought some yard toys. It’s a nice part of Lake Hartwell, the dock was a major bonus for the kids to jump from. Canoe and kayaks are a thoughtful bonus that aren’t always available for use with other rentals. The neighborhood is quiet and I felt comfortable taking a morning walk alone down the country roads. Host is very responsive and pleasant.

This place is wonderful. It was the most complete AirBnB where I have stayed. Highly recommended to anyone looking in the area. Craig and Janet are very friendly, outgoing, and welcoming. When in the area, or have visitors in the area, we will recommend this location.

Margaret thought of everything we needed and had it waiting for us. Her place is very clean, stocked, bedroom cozy & comfortable, location is convenient, and her garden of every variety of beautiful plants is amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will hope to again next time we’re in the area!

What a gem of a place. We booked this listing on a last-minute whim for MDW. Not only was it even lovelier than the pictures but it was exactly the getaway our weary souls were needing. There are few places that will calm you better than a cup of coffee on the patio. Lucia was extremely responsive, gave great and clear instructions and was very accommodating. The only draw back is the number of stairs down to the lake. The view is killer but with toddlers that made things like bathroom breaks tricky. If you’re not super mobile take that into account. Otherwise, this was a slice of paradise. The fire ring, stocked wood, and plethora of kayaks and paddle boards made this a fun weekend to remember.

Our stay was perfect! My husband and I decided to get an Airbnb with a pool for the weekend. Within moments of booking, Mark responded with a friendly hello. Upon arrival, everything was exactly as described and he had a very nice welcome basket with snacks and even drinks in the fridge for us to enjoy! The game room was awesome and full of games. We played with an 80’s arcade game machine, shot pool, shuffle board, ping pong and darts. There were board games too and the porch was absolutely beautiful, especially at night!!! We’ve decided to visit again in June and can’t wait! Thank you Mark and Candy for a very fun and relaxing weekend away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

Overall had a great stay for graduation! House was clean and in a quiet, gated neighborhood that is close to campus which was perfect. We didn’t need to cook meals but enjoyed the living space that is nicely decorated with Clemson decor. Two additional stools would be nice addition to the kitchen area. Joseph was quick to respond to my questions.

We had a very nice couple of days at William and Lori's place in Seneca. It was cozy and nice to have a place to come home to each day after our outings of touring waterfalls in the NW part of SC. Conveniently located to everything we needed including restaurants, the parks that we visited and grocery stores, etc.

My husband stayed at Yvette's place for a work trip. it was nice and peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful setting. we would definitely recommend her place for future visits

We are so pleased with our stay at Travis’s Air BnB. It was in the perfect location and we felt right at home. Plenty of yard for our pups, perfect kitchen, beds were definitely comfortable. We will most definitely be returning. Thank you Travis!

We booked a couple nights at this cabin at the last minute after having to cancel a beach trip. We did not miss the beach at all. The area hiking, rivers, lake and town of Clayton gave us rest and enjoyment beyond our expectations. The cabins location was perfect and provided a comfortable place to rest & recharge for my husband and I. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Nothing fancy, but I had everything I needed. This is a great place to be secluded and get back to the basics of life. I felt right at home.

Wonderful, clean cabin in beautiful setting. All the necessary amenities (and more) were there, and Kay was a wonderful and accommodating host.

We loved our vacation on the lake in Tamassee! The location was perfect. We went on 2 beautiful hikes in nearby Nantahala National Forest (highly recommend) and spent lots of time on the beautiful lake jocassee and keowee. The house had everything we needed, was private and peaceful, and we saw lots of wildlife. Tom was very responsive, but we hardly needed to reach out because we had everything we needed.

We loved the place! Super creative architecture, nestled in the nature. It’s bigger than we expected. Close to Clemson University, and to amazing hiking spots! Would definitely return. Thank you!

I can't say enough good things about Scott and Christina's home! The game room was so much fun! The game room is in a nice and separate building. We enjoyed having access to games, Sling TV, a clean home, plenty of towels, and minimal chores. The home was well stocked with extra pillows and blankets. The hosts were very friendly and responsive! We absolutely loved our stay! We'll definitely go back! I strongly recommend staying here! Thank you, Scott and Christina!

One of the most peaceful settings I have ever experienced. There is nothing else around but nature , mountains and quiet. A few miles up the road from a several of my favorite hikes in the south. Wonderful time.

The house was beautiful. Exactly as described. Jen and Jason were super helpful and accommodating. Due to a storm there was a loss of power and Jen and Jason were helpful about what to do and how to remedy the situation.
