Private guest cottage for 2 right on Lake Hamilton

Light and open small studio cottage right on the water perfect for a relaxing getaway for 2 people, or a getaway for 1 person, not suitable for more because it’s too small. There is a small kitchenette with everything you need except a stove/oven. Please note, there is a steep hill to walk down and walk back up to the parking spot which is under a carport. Also, this year ( Nov-Feb) the Corps of Engineers will lower Lake Hamilton 3 feet, there will still be water in my cove .

Upon arrival the home was exactly as the listing showed! The owners of this property left nothing out! Absolutely gorgeous home, beautiful views, all of the amenities you could need. I loved the turfed fire pit area and my kids loved the heated private pool! I was so grateful for the coffee bar stocked with everything you need for a nice cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Even down to the small library in the upstairs loft including coloring books and crayons! It’s the little extra touches that made us feel welcome and will definitely have us returning!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us from May 22-24, 2025. Your place on the river was nothing short of perfect. The location couldn’t have been better—right on the water, where we managed to catch an incredible 51 fish between the two of us! It was a fisherman’s paradise. The house was absolutely spotless, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making our stay so comfortable and relaxing. Beverly, those homemade cookies you brought over when we arrived were such a warm and delightful touch—thank you! We loved unplugging for a couple of days, sipping coffee on the screened-in porch, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It was exactly the retreat we needed. Your attentiveness and responsiveness made everything even better, and we truly appreciate your hospitality. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you again for an unforgettable stay!

Wow! What an absolutely wonderful experience! First off the street name "quiet etc." is right on target! So quiet and peaceful. The interior of the house is so wonderfully decorated and the lake view is insanely beautiful. The playroom and two beds and balcony upstairs are great for entertaining the children. The hosts were on top of their game and provided all the amenities we needed. Everything was clean and tidy. The dock and kayaks were a big part of our adventure and entertainment. Our kids said they love the hot tub, foosball, giant connect four and the stairs (lol)!

The condo was fabulous., very clean and open. My family of enjoyed relaxing while looking over the lake. we also were very surprised as the Memorial Day fireworks display was less that 200 yards away. I definitely will be staying here again soon and highly recommenend this condo.

Let me start of by saying I have stayed in a hand full of AirBNB and hands down this has been the best one yet. If I could give six stars I would. Main reason was because of Steve and Peggy. They were great hostesses. If you’re looking for something peaceful and relaxing this is your place. It is off the beaten path. We just enjoyed sitting outside on the deck or down by the stream. Thanks again Steve we really enjoyed it.
