House holiday rentals in Lagoa de Óbidos

The villa was exactly how it looked like in the pictures, which made us very happy! The hosts were friendly and helpful. It was easy to find and the area felt safe. I would reccommend this villa for 6-8 people since the 5th bedroom was underground and I myself would have not wanted to stay in that bedroom. I reccommend having your own car like we did, for driving easily to nearby villages, since the villa is quite far from everything. We liked the area, but there is not much nearby.

We spent a very nice holiday week at Casa da Serra! The tasteful and thoughtful architect's house and the great garden with adjoining goat enclosure was only surpassed by the hospitality of Luíz and Isabelle. After sunset, fireflies "lit up" our terrace. For our children, the heated pool in particular was a big plus. Since we were the only guests most of the time, we almost always had it to ourselves. The national park, which also offers hiking opportunities, begins directly behind the house. I have rarely seen so many butterflies in one place. Of the nearby destinations, we visited Coimbra, Nazaré (north beach), one of the nearby caves, and Obidos. All in all, we had a very varied and at the same time very relaxing vacation with great hosts! Muito obrigado!

The location is excellent, within walking distance to grocery stores and a bakery; easy driving distance to downtown, beaches and Sítio. The pool was lovely and the beds very comfortable for our group. Paula was easy to reach and very responsive. Nazaré was my favorite place in all of our Portuguese adventures and cannot wait to go back.

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

A truly beautiful villa within walking distance of the ocean. The villa is in a neighborhood with a beautiful view of the forest, has a nice pool and inside you will find the appropriate equipment. We would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing two week stay at the house. It was absolutly beautifull. We felt at home the second we arrived. Everything was perfect.

We were 4 (couple, mother, 1 kid) and stayed a week and it was great. Everything is like the photos. We had luck with the weather and could enjoy the pool and barbecue. Went to Foz do Arelho, São Martinho do Porto, Peniche/Berlengas, Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha, Nazaré and all of this its near like 10 to 25 minutes by car. Never saw any host or neighbors and check in/out by keysafe, wich was great for us. Never eared a noise, its really calm and with great view.

The house is as advertised. We had nice 2 week holiday at Eduardos place as a family. Eduardo and his parents are the right people at the right job, and they are willing to go extra lenghts for you, if needed. Thank you, once more.

Elise has created a beautiful friendly space which is perfect for a short trip or in my case a month. Perfect location to get access all the surf spots by car and a nice distance to Baleal for an evening or morning walk. I highly recommend🙌

Great new and very clean place for a long term stay. Always a parking space available but city style street parking. Host very proactive and responsive in any issues. Older part of town near lots of amenities and surfing at Baleal etc is all within a 10 minute drive.

If I could’ve given 6 stars out of 5, I would’ve, no questions asked. Amanda and Gez were more than helpful towards us! Communication was great and housing was perfectly situated - about a 7 mins walk to the castle and its inner village, as well as a 6 mins walk to a grocery store. Would come back anytime and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Obidos!

Beautiful place. More beautiful than the pictures! A great value for the price. Meals on the balcony were gorgeous! What a view!! Christina was very accommodating. The house was super clean and had everything we needed.

Very nice house, very well furnished and decorated. Ideal location for discovering the beautiful region. Great welcome from Angela, full of advice, responsive and available. The cat Lily adopted us and spoiled us with hugs and purrs... A nice place.

We had an amazing time in the stylish beach house you immediately feel at home in. They really put some extra love in preparing everything, from the ping pong table, yoga mats and meditation cushions to the chess board, good equipped kitchen and amazing bath tub. The view is even nicer than in the pictures - beautiful sunsets and you can directly check out the wave condition from home. Also we were asked multiple times if we needed anything, the communication was really perfect:) thank you!

Lovely village walking distance from Obidos castle

The house was impeccable and very comfortable. We felt at home. The area was calm. It is well located, very close to Peniche and Lourinhã, where the places we wanted to visit were. The host was always available and responded very promptly to all questions. He also rewarded us with a delicious treat: a box of cakes. It was wonderful and I recommend it! When I want to come back to this area, I'll remember Moana House!

We spent 10 wonderful days in this place. good views, close to the sea, a lot of where to walk, great for those who want to rest and stay more at home as was our case, Dick is a dear, attentive, helpful, during the 10 days he gave in the trunks and litters to change, the space is impeccable. Nasondezas has everything you need for shopping, etc... Couldn't have run better. This holiday will be in memory, and it will be saved for later. Thank you Dick

Very nice dwelling in a peaceful village. We were warmly welcomed by Iolanda's grandmother. Iolanda was very responsive and was able to accommodate us for check-in and checkout. I would recommend it!

We had a very nice time at Annelies' house. The house is so lovingly restored and furnished that we felt very comfortable. Everything you need is there and much more. The amenities are very extensive and tasteful. Annelies is a really very friendly and lovely hostess and it was nice to meet her. We and our 3 children (7, 39, 40 years) found the accommodation very cozy and the rooms great. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful garden, had breakfast and also grilled. The surroundings are very nice and for nature and bird lovers there is a lot to discover. We highly recommend Annelies' place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pedro and Rute's house! It is a rustic house but very well restored, maintaining the original design. In this way, it combines the comfort of modernity with the simplicity of a country environment. The small garden is a plus, although it could be better maintained. The barbecue is great. Finally, a quiet place and very close to the Foz do Arelho beach, the Óbidos lagoon and the city of Caldas da Rainha.

It was a wonderful experience to get to know Peniche in such a cozy house. The outdoor space is delicious, with barbecue, table, sink, everything for a good barbecue or outdoor meals. I took my dog who loved the place! Célia was very attentive and I will come back for sure!
