Holiday rentals in Lagoa de Albufeira

After considering a lot of different airbnbs in the area I took Gilberto’s house and I am super happy to tool this decision. From the little balcony in front, you probably get the best view in town. A beautiful sun set every day, a view to the lagoon, the sea and even the outskirts of Lisbon. The lagoon is perfect for windsurfing and other wind sports. It’s only 5 minutes away by foot or 1 minute by car. The sea is not much further away. The small town is also really cute and quiet. Not many people and most of them are Portuguese people, not many Tourists. I love the place and will definitely come back :)

Wir haben 14 Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Kochen oder Backen braucht. Dass es sogar eine Küchenwaage gab, hat mich sehr beeindruckt. Es ist sehr ruhig hier, man ist umgeben von Natur. Die Außendusche ist toll, wir haben sie jedoch nicht genutzt, um eine Mückenplage im Zimmer zu vermeiden. Das Dorf Aldeia do Meco hat tolle Restaurants sowohl für mittags als auch abends. Aber auch Cafés für ein Frühstück sind mit dem Auto in unter 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Auch zu den Stränden von Meco ist es nicht weit, ein Auto ist jedoch erforderlich, um die Gegend hier zu erkunden. Alternativ lässt es sich auch hervorragend am Pool entspannen. Der eigene Garten bietet ausreichend Privatsphäre. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Veronique's place was truly exceptional. Communication was smooth both before and during our stay. We loved the peaceful setting, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The location is ideal, with the beach and lagoon just a short distance away. Restaurants and supermarkets are easily accessible by car. The house was well-organized and fully equipped with everything we needed. Our favorite spot was the terrace, offering a lovely view of the cork trees and the garden. We also appreciated being able to use the bicycles, surfboards, paddleboards, and more, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy the outdoors. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat in Portugal, immersed in nature, this is the perfect spot. We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Alfredo’s place in Sesimbra. The location is absolutely beautiful – peaceful nature all around, with a lovely view of the forest and the gentle sound of the ocean in the background. The pool was fantastic, and we loved watching the many different bird species in the garden. The entire property is very well maintained and felt like a true retreat. The tiny house had everything we needed – cozy, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. There were great restaurants and a variety of leisure activities just a short drive away. Alfredo was an amazing host – very welcoming and attentive. He gave us great local recommendations and even marked everything on a map for us, which made exploring the area really easy and fun. We felt very well taken care of and truly appreciated his warm hospitality. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

Luis is a wonderful and very contactable host. A few days before our arrival, he asked if we needed to know anything or if we needed anything. He greeted us personally, showed us around the house and explained everything important. He gave us suggestions for restaurants and stores. He himself suggested that we could check out a few hours later than the regulations. Luis' house is very cozy, we felt as at home. The house has everything you need, enough dishes, cleaning products, coffee, tea, oil, spices, fresh herbs in the garden. There is silence all around. We received a bottle of delicious wine and cookies to welcome us. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, there is plenty of space to store things. And this wonderful garden, with beautiful vegetation, clean, nicely decorated, with a pool with warm water. With great pleasure I will return there.

A la casa no le faltaba detalle,muy bonita y cuidada. El único pero son las duchas,la bañera de abajo muy pequeña y la ducha de arriba si eres un poco grande no entras por las puertas de la mampara,es complicado hasta lavarse el pelo porque te dan los codos
