Most incredible stay I've had- thank you François and the team! I've never stayed somewhere which has exceeded my expectations like this apartment. It was truly beautiful- from the smell of the honeysuckle tree below the balcony, to the incredible view, to the little details like a jar of sweets in the apartment, and the incredible communication from the team and amenities! The apartment is a short walk from some amazing restaurants, just round the corner from the cité and near to local shops in a peaceful and friendly neighbourhood! It was the perfect base to explore Carcasssone and the surrounding wine regions! The apartment was spotless, the appliances were all modern, there was a really great shower, and incredibly comfy beds with crisp white linen. It truly made our holiday special, and I'll never forget our time here! I'd recommend this property again and again and again and would not hesitate to return as soon as we can!

The house is absolutely beautiful with every amenity you could need! The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of room to spread out if you're sharing with a big family! It is 10 minutes walk into the Medieval City which is fantastic with loads of shops and culture! Not too far to walk into the main city either. Cédric is one of the most helpful and responsive hosts I have had the pleasure of communicating with. Nothing was too much or a problem. He (and his family) went above and beyond to make our stay as positive as possible. The pictures absolutely don't do the villa justice, it is stunning and feels much bigger there! So much outdoor space, with a very clean pool and hot tub - gated for safety - and multiple sitting areas. We had an amazing week and will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Very comfortable and spacious accomodation with great views and easy access to the citadel and Ville Basse. Well equipped kitchen and several options for eating in and outdoors. Entertainment includes bicycles, table tennis and nice pool. Pierre communicated well and responded quickly to any queries.

A very friendly welcome with a very appreciated welcome gift. The house is as described. Very nicely decorated, extremely clean, very comfortable (top bedding). The environment is also very pleasant (very nice view) and very quiet. Many shops within 10 minutes' drive.

Our time with Christine and André was wonderful! The place is indescribable and the two of them totally touched us with their warm manner. Christine met us in the nearby town and we followed her by car. The route gives a taste of the great hikes that can be undertaken there. The road is not paved, but you can make good progress slowly. The hamlet in which the gîte is located is like a fairy tale. You have a private pergola with a wonderful view. In front of the entrance is a table where you can enjoy coffee and food in the morning sun. The apartment was the best equipped and stylishly furnished we have ever been in. Everything is sustainable and designed with so much love. Christine and André give you the feeling of total privacy and at the same time take you completely into their world. We were allowed to pet llamas and explore the hamlet and learn about the impressive history. It was unique!

A little piece of heaven on earth. I couldn't have chosen a better place for my reconnection trip. The forest and the surrounding villages are magical. We had a fantastic stay here - the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the medieval castle. It is so easy to step outside and soak in the atmosphere with charming alleyways, plenty of eateries (still some closed in mid-June), and little shops all around. Access to the castle and the walk along the wall (highly recommend) is just minutes away. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with great bathroom facilities and a fantastic outdoor area that we really enjoyed. We did have a bit of trouble finding it at first, but once we reread Marie's instructions it all made sense - be sure to look for Le Rendez-vous above the entrance door. Having free car parking was brilliant, and we didn’t mind the walk up to the apartment. We stayed one night, and found we had enough time to look around, we loved old Carcassonne and it is definitely worth visiting. It was a really memorable stay and we’d thoroughly recommend it.
