Waterfront holiday rentals in Lac de Gérardmer

Thank you to Pierrette and Eliane for accepting our arrival in the morning. Very large ideal accommodation close to the city center. Accurate description. Everything nearby on foot. We were able to do summer sledding, canoeing, pedal boating, walks to the Bouchot waterfalls. Everything was great. Perfect accommodation, everything is there to enjoy the holidays. Impeccable accommodation, perfectly equipped, including for a young child. Everything is very clean, well arranged and functional. Access to the front door may be confusing at first, but once spotted, no worries. Cécile and her husband are extremely responsive: a defective kettle was replaced the next morning. A very pleasant cottage, quiet, with quality amenities and decoration, very functional and charming.

We were there with 3 children and the children loved the apartment. We stayed there for Easter. You can cook, bake ... it has it all. It is very comfortable. You can look at the water at breakfast. The apartment gives a lot of relaxation and space to relax. I highly recommend it. The manager was friendly and easy to communicate with. The owner can be easily reached via airbnb. The house itself also includes kayak and paddle boats ... on the other shore, where the restaurants are, you can rent motorboats and Co.... all in all, you have many opportunities to do on the water. There are several shops in the village, Aldi and Lidl, but not comparable to the German branches, since rather to Super U, there is a mega good meat counter and fish. You can go for a walk. And you recover well. The air is great. My children and my husband want to go there again. That's supposed to mean something. A blessed place to stay.

Perfect accommodation, very well equipped, especially in the kitchen, large number of beds, very clean apartment, comfortable, very welcoming, with various nice little decorations.

We had a great time. Impeccable accommodation, beautiful lake views, small balcony ... Wonderful! Plenty of things to do nearby: Hiking, pool, bowling alley, lakefront restaurant... We'll be back soon!

We stayed at the house in October with 10 adults for 2 nights. The size was sufficient, it should not have been more people otherwise you would have had to sleep on the sofas. It was a great fit for our purposes. On our arrival, the house was already premeditated. Sauna and hot tub were very clean. In the kitchen, everything necessary for at least 10 people is available. Free parking for 4-5 cars right by the house. Neighbors were not at home that weekend, so we could hear and celebrate music in the garden without any problems. Ample shopping is 5 min drive from the house. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to recommend the accommodation.

Beautiful chalet in beautiful location. Clean and spacious for a family of 4. Hot tub is great. The chalet is well equipped. We traveled from the UK and arrived into some unusually heavy snow fall, road access to the chalet is steep and we slid around eventually had to use our snow chains, so be aware of that if going in winter with no snow tyres and two wheel drive. Would stay again. Carlos helpful, despite not speaking English and we don’t speak French but made it work.

Everything went well in Mathilde's accommodation. If you like peace, countryside and medium mountains, this Airbnb is for you.

We had a great stay at Régine's, the house is beautiful, clean with breathtaking views. For the equipment, nothing is missing and the appliances are of high quality. The house is tastefully decorated. Régine and her husband welcomed us warmly. I highly recommend this rental. Many thanks.

We had a nice two weeks in Brigitte's well-equipped apartment. The furniture is high-quality and cozy. We especially liked the large terrace with the magnificent view of the lake. We enjoyed the sun on the terrace and there is also a table grill on which we could roast first-class steaks. Brigitte is a generous and friendly hostess. We got a lot of excursion tips from her for the area. The area and nature are incredibly beautiful even in bad weather. A detour to Alsace was also very worthwhile. We definitely want to come back again

The accommodation and also the hostess are very nice. For 2 people who want to do a lot, the accommodation is very suitable. The location directly on the lake invites you to take walks and enjoy activities on the water. Very good shopping nearby. We will be happy to come back.

Small but nice, the studio was clean and tidy, view of the mountain from the window makes it something special. Quiet place next to nature. Indy was very nice and helpful. I would love to recommend it. Especially for people who would like to live next to nature. Thank you Indy for your hospitality.
