The stay was great, it is an authentic cottage on the property where the owners also live. The house is cozy and rural and very neat and clean. It is very rural but at a good distance from all amenities and there is plenty to do if you want, many beautiful castles nearby and beautiful towns. The garden and pool are beautiful and we enjoyed this very much, as well as the sound of all the birds around us. Anne and Yvon are very attentive, friendly and helpful owners who are there for you at all times should you need this, on the other hand, they also respect your privacy. Absolutely recommended!

We had a lovely week at la Bardoire. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable. Delphine is a very responsive host. There are several minor maintenance issues which need attention and then it would be perfect.

Excellent stay in this haven of peace and nature in the middle of the Loire castles! Former sheepfold tastefully renovated, warm and spacious overlooking a terrace with a view of the horse meadow!!! Evelyne and Pierre are very welcoming hosts who love nature and animals, with a beautiful family estate full of life!

A lovely home in a quiet rural setting. Comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. About 4 km out of tours. Two large bedrooms upstairs with an en suite shower in second bedroom and another shower off kitchen downstairs. One toilet downstairs and another outside back door. Good heating in all rooms. No air con or Wifi. We really enjoyed our 6 day stay.

Great brand new and complete accommodation

Karine, is a thoughtful host. I had never woken up in a rental with warm croissants waiting for us. We had the flexibility to check out, as there were no other guests afterwards. We felt very good on this well-appointed terrace. It was a great place for our romantic weekend and we sincerely thank Karine.

Ideally located accommodation to visit the castles with in addition the space to park the car inside the locked garden. Charming quiet little house, furnished with great taste. Very good bedding. This cottage has been "thought out" and furnished with great taste and thinking about the smallest detail: the dishes are beautiful, the decoration is warm and pleasant, the bedding is comfortable, even the linen is well chosen! ...Impeccable cleanliness, small sunny garden in the morning, shaded in the evening, perfect for spending pleasant moments, quiet. A parking space is even provided in front of the accommodation! We enjoyed a very sunny week, one or two nights a little hot (there is a fan...) and are delighted with this stay by the Loire. Thank you to Laurence and congratulations on this lovely cottage! Among other possible activities: small suggestion for amateurs: a 3-hour "abstract painting" workshop, in Tours (at Sylvie B. painter) was offered to us by Airbnb, I participated and I really enjoyed it!...so go for it!
