Holiday rentals in La Mucchia

What a great place, last minute an extra night booked so excited we are. Dear hosts, wonderful surroundings, super nice facilities (fresh rolls from the local bakery via the campsite, for a fee eat with the evening meal, always access to coffee and drinks). Cottage was just right, not too spacious and not too small. All right, all right, all right. Surroundings are beautiful and really very cozy. Supermarkets 5 min by car. Whether you want to stroll through a village for an afternoon or lie by the pool, both the days it is wonderful to come back to this place.

Antonella was a great host, very quick response to our questions, always had positive communication with us. Her house was an extraordinary house, this stone house and antique items from the 1800s were a very nice experience for us. The house was very nice and in a quiet location. Antonella had provided us with everything we needed, gave us a lot of activities and local advice, what we were able to do from what she recommended really pleased us very much, it was nice advice. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants to spend a quiet Tuscan holiday. If we go back here, Antonella's house will be our choice again.

Beautiful villa and prompt response from host. Couple of suggestions (just thinking of ways it could have been easier or better for guests). If you have luggage you will have to pull through gravel to get to the villa. This was a little bit inconvenient but not earth shattering.

Our stay with Sheila and Silvia was fantastic! They were terrific hosts, and the property exceeded our expectations with its beauty and impeccable cleanliness. We opted for extra meals and a cooking class, and everything was outstanding. Silvia is an incredible chef, and the dinners she prepared were some of our best meals during our trip to Italy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for cooking. The property offers stunning views, nestled in the hills about a 20-25 minute drive from Cortona via scenic, winding roads, so having a car is essential. There’s so much to explore within a 30-minute to 2-hour drive, from lakeside towns and wine tastings to thermal baths, spas, charming medieval villages, and plenty of Michelin-starred restaurants. I highly recommend booking here for a relaxing, delicious, and comfortable getaway.

Stefano is a great host. He is very warm and friendly, his suggestions helped us a lot. House is in quiet place, but nearby all interesting cities. All recommendations!

Lorenzas villa is the perfect escape to Cortona. Set in the valley, its long, picturesque driveway leads you to a charming estate that is as fabulous as you’d imagine. Simplicity abounds in this Tuscan haven, complete with all you’d need for an extended stay such as mine. This is my second time renting the home for over a month and it will give you all the peaceful tranquility and zen vibes you may ever need. Close to Cortona for fantastic restaurant and sightseeing as well as local grocery stores to stock the home for your stay. To note: I his farmhouse has been in her family for generations and is delicate and simple, treat it with love as it holds so many special memories that exude from its walls. The farmhouse is located on the second story as the first story has not been renovated and remains locked. I hope to return again to finish my book. Thank you!

Wow!! The home is beyond beautiful and extremely tasteful decorated. From the upstairs bedroom, the view is incredible. My family loved every aspect of the home and we enjoyed spending time together in the spacious living room. It is in the heart of Cortona, so we were able walk everywhere. Special thanks to Marialena, as she ensured we had everything we needed and helped us arrange rides from and to the train station. We can’t wait to return to stay here again!

We cannot say enough about how fantastic our stay was. Maybe the most gorgeous property we’ve ever seen - even better than the pictures! Pia was incredibly helpful, sent us a whole printout of recommendations for different restaurants, wineries, and things to do. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and proactive - she thought of everything you may need during your stay and gave us a tour of our home. Waking up in the Tuscan countryside and watching the sun rise over the vineyards was relaxing and beautiful. The sunsets were breathtaking to see over the rolling hills in Chianti. Castellina was a cute little town with fantastic places to eat and panoramic views of the valley. And on top of all that, we made a new friend in the Public Relations Manager, Teo - you can be sure you’ll be greeted with a wagging tail and a happy little smile. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!
