Pet-friendly holiday rentals in La Matanza de Acentejo

Jorge and Carlos were extremely nice and responsive, true hosts that you wish to come across. :) About the place itself we can mostly echo what is already said in other opinions. This is a very spacious villa, well-equipped (really, everything you need is here), big heated pool with a view, surroundings nice & walkable. We can honestly recommend to everyone.

Super nice, remote area! It was quite, I loved the outside space and the entire house was very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The view over the city and sea is amazing

The apartment from Natalia & John was great! Within walking distance from good restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. So very central but in a quiet neighbourhood. Everything we could think of was there; beach umbrellas and chairs included. They allowed us to do a late check out which was very nice. We very much recommend this house in Alcala if you want to explore Tenerife and you don’t like the big resorts and the very touristic places like los cristianos.

This was one special stay! This cave is a sacred and cozy spot full of an amazing energy. The place more spatious than it seemed in the pictures and super comfortable with everything you need inside. It didn’t take long for us to feel at home. The hosts were very responsive and detail-oriented, providing us in the cave with all things you may need to make you feel right at home. You definitely need a car to move around as there is nothing really within walking distance. But we love the quietness and remoteness of this space. It has a beautiful terace where we chilled and made a grill, and also a terace on top of the cave where you have an amazing view of the region and the ocean. We spent two weeks there and this cave made our stay 10 times more special! Thank you so much 💚

Appartement en étage dans une maison au coeur du village avec une belle terrasse avec vue sur les rochers. l'accueil d'Inocencia est très amical. nous avons passé cinq jours superbes dans ce petit village, nous avons pu faire de très belles randonnées dans le massif d'Anaga. Dans le village se trouve un petit magasin chez bégonia et le bar Drago parfait pour une bière après la rando ! un séjour parfait !

"Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend" I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. The house is located just above the ocean. It’s beautiful and peaceful. We spend most our time (on day time) on the terrace. Just like the photos The space was clean, well decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was always responsive. As its written, you def need a car, and i add to say a good reliable car. The access/road can be very surprising at the beginning Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Fuimos un grupo de 4 personas al norte de Tenerife, principalmente para recorrer sus senderos y disfrutar de la gastronomía. La casa de José Ángel cumplió las expectativas porque se encuentra cerca de Anaga, La Laguna, Puerto de la Cruz, Icod, etc, que es lo principal que queríamos visitar; todo muy accesible a través de la autopista que se encuenta a 2/3 Km. La casa está alto en el municipio, por lo que se debe llevar algo de abrigo (dependiendo de la época del año). La casa se encuentra en una carretera con pendiente, por lo que aconsejo aparcar en un rellano de la carretera a unos 30 o 40 metros de la puerta y subir andando ya que se necesita cierta habilidad para maniobrar con coche. El salón, cocina y dormitorios están muy bien equipados y son cómodos. Los dormitorios se acceden a través de una escalera de caracol (no apta para niños muy pequeños). José Ángel nos regaló muy gentilmente una botella de vino de la zona. Las vistas desde la azotea son maravillosas. Volveremos!!!

Der Aufenthalt hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht. Viele Ablagemöglichkeiten, genügend Decken und eine super ausgestatte Küche. Der traumhafte Blick auf das Meer, sowie die Wanderwege in der Umgebung sind hervorzuheben. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana de maravilla, al apartamento no le falta detalle, muy limpio y ordenado, ideal para pasar unos días en familia. Carmen, la anfitriona, una bella persona, muy atenta y amable. Lo recomendamos 100% , nosotros repetiremos !!!!

Davide was very helpful and welcoming. The villa had stunning views, was very clean and spacious and was well equipped. The location was quiet and peaceful and a short 15mins drive to Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely consider returning to this villa. I would highly recommend.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Maria et son mari, qui sont très sympathiques et disponibles. L'appartement dispose de tout ce dont vous pouvez avoir besoin et on s'y sent à l'aise. Je recommande !

The 5 star reviews are spot on.....though we are tempted to leave a 1 star review to put people off from discovering this wonderful villa so we can return to stay again more easily! Ana Maria and Fran were so helpful and the villa is truly amazing. A huge space for up to 16 people so perfect for a big family gathering (we were there for a birthday party; Fran found us a brilliant Cuban/Latin American 3 piece band to entertain us and he made us a huge delicious paella and selection of tapas). The villa is so quiet yet very close to Puerto de Cruz and with breathtaking views of the ocean and Teide volcano. You do need a car to get around.

We have just had a great few days at Carmen Rosa’s apartment. When we got there we met Tamara’s mother who made us so welcome!! We were after a complete chill out break and this is what we got. The apartment I had everything you need, including a large balcony terrance which catches the sun most of the day. I would certainly recommend a car for your visit. There are a couple of local supermarkets but 2 larger ones (including a Lidl) only a few minutes drive away. The apartment is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed just sitting watching the boats come in and out of the harbour. I would really recommend This apartment.

We've just finished our stay at the property and it was perfect. We wanted somewhere to relax for the week in beautiful surroundings and it ticked that box and more! The house itself is gorgeous and has everything you'd need for your stay, including a juicer which meant we got to have fresh OJ every morning, with oranges bought down the road. The pool and hot tub in particular were amazing with fantastic views down the valley.

Wir haben die Zeit in der Unterkunft sehr genossen und empfehlen sie uneingeschränkt weiter! Das Apartment ist genau wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern zu sehen. Bei der Ausstattung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt, es war sauber und schön und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Barbara hat uns persönlich willkommen geheißen und war generell sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, und immer gut zu erreichen. Die Lage ist ruhig und am Berg, daher empfehlen wir eine Anreise mit dem Auto, obwohl es auch eine Buslinie in der Nähe gibt und für Bewegungsbegeisterte auch der Weg zu Fuß möglich ist. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die riesige Terrasse mit dem traumhaften Ausblick über das Meer, auf der wir einige schöne Sonnenstunden und Sonnenuntergänge genießen konnten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Danke!

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

Wat een magische plek! Het houten huisje van Julien is werkelijk een verborgen parel. Gelegen op een heuvel met een adembenemend uitzicht over de zee. In de buurt een prachtig bos – dit is de ideale plek om tot rust te komen. Het huisje zelf is sfeervol, warm en met oog voor detail ingericht. Je voelt meteen dat dit met liefde is gebouwd en wordt onderhouden. Alles was kraaknet, comfortabel en perfect in orde. Maar wat deze ervaring écht bijzonder maakt, is Julien zelf. Een ontzettend vriendelijke en attente host, die je met open armen ontvangt. Hij kent de omgeving en deelt met enthousiasme zijn tips over verborgen strandjes en leuke eetadresjes. Ik kan deze plek dan ook van harte aanbevelen en hoop zeker nog eens terug te komen. Merci Julien!

The apartment was beautiful and had everything required for our short break . The views from the apartment were fantastic. As described, you would definitely need a car for this location but once prepared the location was stunning. The natural pool was breathtaking, waves crashing around the pool but perfectly safe for swimming. There was a lovely walk across the cliff to El Pris, which had a couple of cafe/bars . Pepe Verde. the restaurant near the apartment, was excellent value, great food and friendly staff (closed on Monday & Tuesday). Highly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday 😎

Para nosotros fue un experimento, tanto por el tipo de alojamiento como por compartir "zona" con el anfitrión, pero para nada fue un problema. Casa totalmente equipada, relax y desconexión que es lo que ibamos buscando. Agradecidos a Mauro y su pareja por hacernos sentir como en casa, sin olvidarnos de su perrito Cachou, entrañable y amigable. Recomendadísimo.

Molto felici di aver soggiornato da Jörg e Magdalena, ci hanno accolto calorosamente al nostro arrivo. La casa è piena di confort e loro sono davvero attenti ad ogni piccolo dettaglio. La vista panoramica sul mare è davvero splendida.

Die Unterkunft sieht noch besser aus als auf den Bildern, wirklich magisch! Selten eine Unterkunft mit so viel Liebe zum Detail bewohnt! Super sauber und auch mit alle ausgestattet! Javier selbst ist super unterstützend und war sofort erreichbar, auch abends - danke!

Everything was perfect! We received clear instructions and faya was always available for us if we had questions! The van was super cozy and exactly Like described. We would definetely book the van again :)

Chambre tout en simplicité et c’est justement tout ce qu’on aime, avec tout le nécessaire et une ambiance très nature. Vue à couper le souffle, calme absolu et dépaysement garanti. Frédéric est un hôte très agréable et accueillant.
