This is truly the absolute best spot to stay in the Luberon. You walk outside your door and are literally just steps to an incredible boulangerie, coffee spot, restaurants, history, and scenery that is awe inspiring. The decor was stunning. This is the rare AirBnB that is better than the pictures- and they were great already! We loved closing out the day with a glass of rose’ on the balcony watching the incredible scenery. The cold plunge pool was such a lovely experience- we are converts! Denis provided exceptional hospitality - he checked in to make sure we had all we needed and was such a treasure. He went above and beyond on his host duties. Our family all agreed this is the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. It has so much character- you feel like you are in a castle- but with modern conveniences like laundry and a great kitchen! If you are even considering this place, book this special home! What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

The beautiful room with outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining room had everything it needed for relaxing days. A fragrant, tasteful bedroom with good Bed and beautiful linen, a wonderful covered and well-kept dining area with outdoor kitchen, functionally furnished. A large pool, always available and larger than in the pictures, wonderful in hot temperatures after an excursion - and even illuminated at night. A central location to explore Provence and the Camargue, on an absolutely private and large estate with the landlady Marie Agnes and her discreet family. In a quiet, friendly and pleasant way, Marie Agnes read our every wish from our eyes and gave good tips for the area. Beautiful bird and frog concert in the evening. We felt very comfortable in the house. Everything you need is available and just as described. In the garden, the traffic from the road was clearly audible but not really disturbing. It's a wonderful retreat from which we were able to explore the surrounding area. The communication was also very friendly and attentive.

A great stay. Everything was as advertised, beautiful pool Calm and sun guaranteed! Alicia and Roman are very nice. It was very appreciated. For athletes Possibility of running nearby and great crossfit room 5 minutes away!

A perfect place to hide away in plain view in Provence. Right in the middle of the stunning town of Menerbes. Steps away from all the restaurants and the curated epicerie. Although pricey, definitely worth it. Maison O was exactly how we imagined it to be. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Beds extremely comfortable and bathrooms with excellent showers which were definitely needed since the day time temperature never went below 30 for the whole week. Apropos that. A little more shade for the terrace would have been much appreciated. Although there is no AC the interior rooms stayed coolish if all doors and windows were kept closed. The whole experience was fabulous. Our favourite evening activity after the heat of the mid day was a stroll to Cafe Progres, purchasing an Apéritif and sitting on their terrace overlooking the valley. A light breeze to cool us down and a chat with the locals. It really was the quintessential experience in Provence. We would not hesitate to return.

Paulina’s house is amazing. So peaceful lovely nature around. A swimming pool in the garden The house is beautifully decorated with amazing furniture ,nice bed. A nice morning walk of 1 hour took us to the village where we had coffee.Great restaurants. Paulina is an amazing host. She has put a lot of effort in to make you feel right at home and a lot of info. about the area and surroundings . Would love to come back

I cannot stress enough how perfect everything was about this listing. Antoine was so nice and helpful. Very quick to respond to messages. He gave me a big list of recommendations for places to go and where to eat. His daughters were adorable and very friendly and welcoming to my son. The town of Eguilles was beautiful and quiet and had everything you could need (Boulangerie, grocery store, laundromat). I am so glad we decided to stay in Eguilles instead of Aix-En-Provence which we found difficult to navigate and park. It was such a great central location for all of our day trips- Cassis, Arles, Moustiers etc. My biggest regret is not booking a longer stay. I loved Provence and can’t wait to come back. Highly highly recommend staying here.

Excellent rental for both of us, we were able to enjoy all the outdoor space including the large pool in complete privacy because Bruno makes sure to leave us alone in all his private outdoor space. Household and outdoor equipment is operational and in impeccable condition. In addition, Bruno is very friendly and easily reachable. Very good rental

Very pleasant stay! The accommodation is impeccable, clean, comfortable, very good bedding, quiet environment, the kitchen area lacks nothing, spacious bathroom, parking space inside the residence, not to mention the quality of the very friendly and very warm welcome from Evelyne who is very responsive, and who rewards you with small surprises with an excellent cake and also a succulent fruit dessert, all homemade. Beautiful space, very comfortable. Host was very attentive and welcoming. No elevator if you have a lot of luggage good to know. Definitely would recommend, beds are very comfortable. Convenient and very walkable neighborhood.

We had a lovely stay at Pascale's. We did not meet her, but the arrival was easy and Pascale was very responsive. The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and what was advertised. We recommend it.

The stay was just perfect! The place was just as described – very clean, cozy and well equipped. The location was ideal, everything was easily accessible. I would especially like to highlight the great communication with the host – super friendly and helpful. Everything was described in great detail for our arrival. I can fully recommend this apartment and would come back anytime.

We loved Victoria’s place. We have four young children and needed somewhere spacious and safe, with a pool for them to cool down in the hot weather. This was the perfect spot for this. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Air conditioning provided a welcome escape from the heat. The pool and surrounding area are stunning. There are tortoises, birds, chickens and two friendly dogs to visit on the grounds. One of my children is very afraid of dogs however but Victoria made every effort to accommodate with this. We will definitely be back!

We had a great week. Audrey is very welcoming, bubbly, and reachable at all times if needed. Regarding the apartment, I try to find something negative but I see nothing. It is extremely clean, it smells good when you enter, storage galore (which is rare), an ideal area for a couple or even 3 people and of course a view of the beautiful port accessible in 2 minutes on foot. In short, to be redone as soon as possible.

Great location! Easy walk to the city waterfront. Gated parking right at the complex. Jean-Luc was so nice and accommodating with check-in and check-out. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The view is phenomenal! We will definitely return! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance of the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful bathing opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

We loved our stay, the accommodation is ideally located to visit the center of Marseille on foot, from the old port to the Velodrome stadium (for good walkers) For the less sporty, buses and metros nearby (a favorite for the pastry shop "Oh Faon", a stone's throw from the apartment, which transformed our breakfasts into pure moments of happiness) The apartment itself is worth it (4th floor without elevator) but once inside, it breathes calm holidays and the blue sky above the rooftops of Marseille. We feel really good there (despite some details that could be improved, such as changing the flush or the TV box that constantly reboots) As for our host, Ilmira welcomed us with kindness and kindness, she simply gave us all the instructions and tips for a good stay. Perfect. We'll be back without hesitation.
