Family-friendly holiday rentals in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. We laid in the pool lounger and watched the sunset almost every night. The kids loved the pool so much, and it was always great to jump into after a walk up the hill. The ac works great in both rooms if you need a place to cool off. The market down the hill is great for cheap beer and snacks, they also sell fresh ceviche and eggs. We used Uber eats a couple of times too for when we didn't feel like walking. All of the food delivery people are on motorcycles so they can easily come up any hill. We also brought a tripod and took family photos around the house, there are so many pretty spots and viewpoints. We will definitely be returning. Thanks Mike for everything!

This spot in Sayulita was perfect! The host was amazing and helped us plan airport transport, golf cart rental, and a private chef dinner at the place. Seriously such a great stay! The maid came frequently and was amazing! The AC units in the bedrooms worked great! But just a warning that there are no ACs in the living area/kitchen/bathrooms, so they get pretty warm. Especially the bathrooms that are open to the outside, they get very very hot by the end of the day. Not a deal breaker, just something to be warned about. Overall, we had a great stay and the location and experience was one to remember!

Our second time staying at this gem of a place with an ocean view one block from the beach. Elíseo is a gracious, helpful and communicative host. We will be back.

Will’s place was amazing. Each bedroom has a king bed and bathroom. The kitchen is perfect for anyone who would rather cook than eat out. The views and sunsets from the rooftop pool are majestic. I would recommend picking up groceries at one of the major grocery chains on the way in from the airport as there are few options for groceries in old town PV. Will was a great host and was quick to respond with any questions we had. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in PV.

Thanks for the great stay, what an awesome location! It's on a main street with loads of restaurants and shops. Very close to the beach too. It also has a beautiful rooftop pool with amazing views. Often, we were the only ones up there. There's security on site 24/7 which was great for such a busy location. Literally, the only downside was the construction work next door, which Alexander made VERY clear before we booked. The construction was every day of the week 8am-8pm. I didn't care about the noise because we were out of the suite for most of the day, however the workers often took a break right outside of our balcony at around 1030am when we were getting ready for the day, and there wasn't much privacy as you can see through the shades in the suite. felt like we were on display. My partner didn't care but I was a bit uncomfortable and always had to change in the bathroom for privacy.

This place is amazing. It has so much character and charm. The private terrace is so cool! You get the best sunset views and it's the best place to hang out during the day or by night. The bed is super comfortable and the location is perfect. You're really close to everything yet it's on a quiet street and you're up quite high so you have a nice private, relaxing place to enjoy. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Puerto Vallarta.

Everything here was incredible. The place was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. It had incredible views and was the perfect location. A 3 minute walk from the beach and within minutes of walking to everything in Zona Romantica, while also still being quiet and peaceful. The front desk security were always present and made us feel safe. And the rooftop pool area was amazing too. Truly an incredible experience and I would love to come back sometime!

Jamie’s home is amazing! The place was incredibly clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking! I highly recommend staying here, we had a wonderful time and will be back in the near future!

What a beautiful, ideal and peaceful location for a spectacular ocean front getaway! Mar's location is one of (if not best) ocean side views we have been witnessed to. The balcony itself had 180+ degree unobstructed views. Access to his private beach was ideal. Other beaches with great beach clubs and restaurants were only minutes away by beach walks. Mar's helpful recommendations and easy going style, made us feel right at home. There couldn't be a better location and host in this area you could ask for... Definitely a jewel in our vacation beach memories to enjoy for times to come...

Really enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s place. After just a few nights, we liked it so much that we were lucky enough to extend our stay. Would definitely rent the upstairs in future to have friends or family come along with us. Can’t emphasize enough how great it was to have air conditioning and hot water on demand. We also used the washer and dryer more than expected, so that was great too! And always appreciate the little touches, like beach towels and a few puzzles :) It’s nice to have kitchen basics and a little bit of patio furniture, as the outdoor space is really nice to spend the afternoon relaxing. Thanks for having us Kathy, we hope to return!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The neighborhood felt safe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay!

Wow! Wow! Wow! We absolutely loved everything about this place! It was so close to everything. Great food and the beach was less than a five minute walk. Ebony was wonderful throughout our entire stay. She really thought of everything! We felt so comfortable here and it was definitely our vibe. We were worried about the bar down stairs being loud at night but we honestly didn’t hear much during our stay. We most definitely will be back here . Our stay was amazing . Ebony has so many things she recommends to do and places to eat and drink, and every single one was amazing. Don’t think about it just book your stay here !!!!

Casa Destino was the most unique, ideal place to stay that we could’ve asked for. The house was full of authentic Sayulita charm, perfectly clean, well equipped (comfy beds, strong AC, chlorine pool) and convenient in relation to both town and beach. We rented a golf cart for the week, which was great to have when feeling lazy but everything in town was perfectly walkable from the house too. The surrounding homes were always quiet, so while there are neighbors, it still felt perfectly secluded, private and safe. Amazing views of both the jungle side and town side, and a killer top deck for a sunset lookout. Nancy was beyond helpful with dining/beach location/activity recommendations, transportation coordinating and overall communication all week long. If you’re looking for a chill, fun and rejuvenating experience in Sayulita, this home is the cherry on top. Cannot wait to come back! 🌞

It was our first time in Sayulita and studio paraiso was the perfect place to stay! It is not in the middle of the commotion, but the centre of the town and the main beach are only a short walk away. There is even a beach, cafes and restaurants on that street which gave us plenty options. The neighbours were quiet and friendly, including the cats! Amenities/air conditioning worked well, had some coffee and basic spices as well as jugs of purified water which was great. Ignacio was helpful and responsive and left a list of activities in the Airbnb, a sun umbrella, a blanket and some books. The water pressure was a little low, and there was construction around 8-9am every morning. Overall a great stay, we will be back!

The place is beautiful, it is just like the pictures. Lupita is so friendly and helpful. She is very polite and always responsive. It is definitely the place to stay when we are visiting Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta. Restaurants and convenience stores are minutes away. Thank you so much for everything, my family was very happy staying there. We hope to come back again next year and stay longer to enjoy it even more.

We travelled with our children and grandkids to LaCruz. The condo was well appointed and had everything you needed. Paulina was very quick to respond to any questions we had and also provided lots of helpful information on restaurants, tours and attractions in the surrounding area. Alamar is a beautiful complex and well maintained. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

To say we enjoyed our stay would be an understatement. This home and the surroundings were stunning, we never wanted to leave. The pool is 10/10. The ultimate relaxing experience. The views were breathtaking and we soaked up every second of it!!

Hermoso todo. La alberca es un poco pequeña, y para nosotros que éramos un grupo grande no nos funcionaba, pero pudimos utilizar las albercas de los condominios. Solo hubo unos detalles que me gustaría compartir para que se consideren. Los A/C les faltaba mantenimiento y casi no enfriaban, el agua de las regaderas solo salía caliente. Entendemos la regla de no ruido excesivo después de ciertas horas, pero el personal de seguridad nos dijeron que no podíamos ni estar platicando en la alberca privada en la noche. El último día estuvimos en una de las albercas, e igual nos dijeron que no podíamos tener música (aclaro que no estaba ni fuerte y era la 1pm), pero obviamente acatamos las reglas y apagamos la música. Y luego nos fueron a decir que no podíamos tener vasos de plástico mientras estábamos en la alberca. Pero, otras personas tenían vasos de plástico adentro y a ellos no les dijeron nada… si vas en plan de amigos consideraría otras opciones. Fuera de esto, todo muy bien!! Grax Sam

Judith was incredibly gracious throughout our stay. When I reached out hoping to check in a few hours early, she quickly connected me with Mauricio, her home administrator. Mauricio met us promptly, provided everything we needed, and gave us a thorough overview of the space. Both Judith and Mauricio were attentive, responsive, and went out of their way to accommodate us. I would absolutely love to return!

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa. There were lots of spaces to socialize with other guests, and our own private apartment unit with all the amenities we needed. You do need a moderate fitness level for the short walk from the beach/town to the Villa, but we like having a bit of exercise built into our day. Our 1 month vacation zipped by way too fast as we very much enjoyed our stay here.

Great location, quiet, enough away from the busy center that noise doesn’t travel at night but still walkable to main Sayulita and the beach. The gardens and pool are an amazing amenity Max and Janet have made open to guests. The views and serenity of the Garden Vistabuena are 10/10. The home has consistent hot water and good water pressure, good air flow/ventilation, comfortable A/C in the sleeping area if needed, and steady wifi. The kitchen was stocked for cooking. While I declined daily house keeping, it is available if needed. A great and wonderful stay all around.
