Beautiful, individual apartment, which is super thought out. Modern bathroom and everything you need. The location is basically also good, bus and subway are easy to reach.

Had a pleasant stay at Henri's. Located on the §th floor, the apartment is quiet, spacious and bright. A few cleanliness details would have deserved more attention but the whole thing was very satisfactory. The neighborhood is peaceful, family-friendly, and authentic. Convenience stores and restaurants are very easy to walk.

Apartment at the foot of the metro. Perfect for visiting Lyon. Very quiet and a superb unobstructed view of Lyon and the surroundings. the underground parking space is a plus. We had a pleasant stay.

i shared a meal with antoine one evening. as we chatted over wine, i asked him what the years of travelling has taught him. he replied simply: “people are good. everywhere.”. our conversation moved to other things, but not long after, a young boy came to the window and said hello. in an act so fluid as to be second nature, antoine gave the boy some of his meal. later, another boy appeared, and the cycle repeated. i share this story because its emblematic of the generosity i experienced during my three weeks at antoine’s home. antoine is a community organizer, a volunteer and active participant in the neighborhood. he is kind, he is light hearted, and he is curious about others. he is a neighbor everyone would be lucky to have. whatever your travel plans are, if you have the opportunity to stay here- do it. i havent traveled as much as antoine has, and i can’t speak on the “goodness” in people all over our world, but in his home, there in the 1st arrandesmont- i absolutely agree.

Great apartment, great stay. Location was perfect, within easy walking distance to all points in Croix Rousse, including the Place de Croix Rousse and other points of interest, including boulangeries, a Monoprix, and many shops and restaurants. Check-in was easy with Lia, who showed up on time and was quick to answer any answers or concerns. Apartment was on second floor, with easy access, and the typical "Canute" decor was fine. Upstairs bedroom had a low ceiling, but that is standard in these types of buildings, which originally housed silk looms and were converted later. Place was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a wonderful place highly recommended.

Spent a week in Lyon at Nicolas’ place and it was a great base to explore different parts of Lyon as well as the surrounding region. Easy access to shops and restaurants made it a very great place to stay.

Located in the very friendly Croix-Rousse district, this apartment is ideal for discovering Lyon. Close to the metro and many restaurants (I recommend "La famille", really good place communicated by Bertrand and 1 minute from the apartment). The apartment perfectly matches the photos and is decorated with great taste, you quickly feel at home. Although it was 36°C that weekend, we were comfortable indoors because the air circulates well. We had a great stay, thank you.

Cute, small apartment in a very pleasant location. Located in the nicest neighborhood of Lyons, you can stay here well and cheaply. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you need. Communication with Gérald friendly, helpful and smooth. You should be aware that the stairs to the bedroom are very steep, and that the parking situation, as everywhere in Lyon, is a small challenge. For our small family (3 people), the apartment was an ideal starting point for our 3-day visit We would come back.

The flat was very clean and secure. Instructions were well played out in French and in English. The Tuesday morning market is only a 3 minute walk. Neighbors were quiet and the sunset off the back porch was a nice touch. At the end of a long day, it was nice to open the doors and let the breeze pass through. It was also nice to close off the sleeping quarters and run the AC unit. We did buy a fan to sleep with at the Monoprix (an American thing I guess).

It's a lovely place in an amazing location and I would definitely recommend it and the host who is very responsive and respectful. I would say the apartment has some eccentricities that need to be explained better: front door needs pulled hard towards you for the key to work, press boost on the boiler to get hot water, push the flexible you-tube under the kitchen sink gently up to get it to drain. Also the apartment has some clutter and debris that needs to be removed: dead plants; a chandelier hanging on a coat rail in the kitchen (?!), some defunct kitchen equipment (a home brewery kit? and much vaunted coffee machine ;)) and for long stay of more than a month some clothes and other items. The neighbours below have loud young kids who are cute but can wake you up early ;) Like I said though it's a great apartment overall and with a few small improvements I would definitely stay again.

Very nice apartment. Only downside the small shower and the low ceiling beams. Being quite tall it was a little epic but fair for a short trip 😁 Very responsive and understanding hosts.

The accommodation is perfectly located, a few steps from the market. Our one-night stay was great! The apartment is faithful to the photos with everything you need to have a good time. Corentin was very responsive when we had questions. We highly recommend it!

Great stay. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Emma and Romain were super helpful with recommendations, really responsive. The location is a little walk from transport but we didn’t mind. Would stay again!

A big thank you to Arnaud and his family for their warm and kind welcome!:) Arnaud was super available, he shared great places with us. We had a great time in the heart of Croix-Rousse, a very nice and ideally located neighborhood, with everything nearby for a trip with a child: playground, bookstore, bakery, cafes, restaurants, and even the nearby market, with fresh produce every day. We'll be back with pleasure! I would recommend this place without hesitation!!

Absolutely loved our stay — the apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The bed was cozy, the shower had great water pressure, and the kitchen was well-equipped for light meals. The neighborhood was quiet but well-located, with easy access to public transportation and great local bakeries. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and welcoming throughout. We’d definitely stay here again — five stars all around!

Clément was a great, responsive host and the apartment itself was a wonderful base of operations for our visit to the greater Lyon area. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals at home, but you have the option to enjoy a wide variety of cuisines within 10 minutes walking distance. To sum up it’s a convenient location with good access to transportation and supplies. The neighborhood has a youthful feel to it, and we felt safe at all times. I would like to add that the beds, linens and towels were all of high-quality, and the water pressure was great!

Great accommodation near Lyon, accessible by transport (bus, tram, etc.). Quiet residence and great and easy to use jacuzzi. We recommend! Thanks to Antoine who is a responsive and very nice host.
