Holiday rentals with a patio in Kypseli, Athens

Ilias and Maria were excellent hosts and responsive. Their place is as it is in the photos and close to the metro station. Ilias was really helpful and shared clear instructions about commuting to and from the Airbnb.

We had an amazing stay, big and private balcony. The sleeping erea is really tiny, but perfect. The host gave us nice recommendations and is very active. Very pleased with our week in Greece.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a lovely, classic studio apartment, nestled away on a bustling yet peaceful Kypseli street. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with any basics a person might need, the light is beautiful, and the pair of balconies are the cherry on top. Marilyn & Chris even gave me a lift to the flat on the first day. Should you be lucky enough to have a chance to be hosted by these kind people, do it!

Just a really super apartment in Zografou. It's high up and sunny, which is really nice. The apartment itself is aesthetically pleasing, comfy and tidy. And for me it was very convenient to be able to wash and dry clothes. Oh, and some very nice places nearby for coffee and food. All in all, great place!

We had a wonderful time in Athens at Matias place. The apartment is small yet has everything you need for a few days in Athens. The terrace is stunning and we especially liked the neighborhood, which is not frequented by many tourists and allowed us to dive in with the locals. Public transport is however close and takes you super fast to the city center. The host welcomed us personally (which we loved a lot, since we are used to anonymous check ins already) and left us with many great recommendations. And if you are worried you might fall out of the loft bed, don’t be! We slept super well 😍

The apartment is located in a very peaceful, quiet, and safe area. Being a rooftop apartment, I was able to enjoy sitting outside (on both sides, for the sunrise and the sunset), reading, and drinking coffee in the morning and evening. Since you are halfway up Mount Likavettos, you have a view of the entire southeast part of Athens, while on the north side of your apartment you can watch the sun hit the church on top of Likavettos and feel the breeze come through the forest across the street (lots of nice paths to walk, and you can powerwalk around the mountain or walk up to the top for the greatest cardio workout). I really appreciated the little things like paper towels, soaps and shampoo, much toilet paper, and other items that few hosts provide, but Christos provided. (I even had a bag of ice in the freezer!) The shower is the largest I have experienced in Athens (and I used to live in Athens and visit the city 2 or 3 times a year), and the elevator and washer especially welcome.

Arrived in evening & found entrance was at far end of road which was uphill. Taxis were on strike day we arrived after a 45 minute walk 😢. We should’ve caught the Metro. Keyless entry system worked fine. Wi-Fi worked well. Tried local restaurant the 1st evening, recommended & cheap. Apartment had all amenities except a microwave which we didn’t need. Spotlessly clean & & photos are accurate. Nice complimentary bottle of wine & water on arrival. Jacuzzi on patio was lovely. Text communication with Panagiotis was excellent & he messaged several times to ensure we were OK. Used local metro at bottom of hill which is great to get into central Athens & only €1.20 a journey. Uber is about €7. Breakfast in morning on back patio is lovely as sun rises with distant view of Acropolis. Nice to sit on front balcony at end of day watching sun set. Panagiotis was so helpful with any text communication. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding accommodation, spacious, clean and modern with everything you need. A few minutes walk to the subway and a further 15 or so into Athens. With great comms from Spyros! Recommended!

Πεντακάθαρο κατάλυμα και μέσα το διαμέρισμα και έξω ο περιβάλλων χώρος. Πολύ όμορφος κήπος, πολύ περιποιημένος. Φιλικός και άμεσος ο οικοδεσπότης, ήταν εκεί για ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε με καλοπροαίρετη διάθεση. Όλοι όσοι προσφέρουν υπηρεσίες στο κατάλυμα ήταν εξυπηρετικοί. Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, πολύ βολική για οποιαδήποτε δραστηριότητα, εύκολη πρόσβαση παντού, στο κέντρο της Αθήνας, σε μουσεία, πολιτιστικούς χώρους, χώρους ψυχαγωγίας, εστιατόρια Συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα το κατάλυμα του Μάριου. Θα το προτιμήσω ξανά.

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

Клара беше мила и приветлива. Изчака ни търпеливо, въпреки че ние малко закъсняхме. Беше ни подготвила малка почерпка за добре дошли. Къщата имаше всичко необходимо за спокоен престой. Квартала беше тих и спокоен, но много комуникативен с автобуси, трамваи и метро. Беше лесно и бързо да се придвижим до центъра, основни атракции и плажовете. В близост имаше магазинчета, супермаркети и ресторанти, така че нищо не ни липсваше.

Thank you Ioannis, this was my first visit to Athens and I had everything I could wish for. A small flat which was a great place to be alone in, and a base for excursions. And it was cool in style and temperature!

We had an amazing stay enjoying the beautiful roof terrace, local market, restaurants and harbour beach. Panayotis and his family was very kind and helpful, we would love to come back.

Enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Description and photos accurate. Very clean and nice. Has washing machine outside and area to hang dry clothing. Loved the outdoor space. Only complaint (which are at no fault of the host) is if you have neighbors in the Airbnb Nextdoor, you may hear them. Only other fyi for other guests is that we had x2 full sized luggage and x2 travel backpacks, and since the space was small it was hard to move around with open luggage, but that is our fault for not thinking about that and wasn’t much of an issue for us since we didn’t spend much time in the apartment except for sleeping. Just things to consider! Otherwise a very enjoyable stay. Host was also kind, and responsive. Apartment is very close to the metro station and only a couple stops away from tourist attractions. Safe, and quiet area. Lots of nice coffee places and a pharmacy around the corner. Thank you!

We loved our stay in this apartment. The view was beautiful and the design of the apartment was well thought out and felt very authentic. The little touches like recessed lighting, electric shutters, fans, aircon, and antique furniture were much appreciated and elevated our stay — we found it very well suited to short term stays. In general, it would have been nice if there was slightly more upkeep/ freshening up of the place (particularly in the kitchen) but that was our only real gripe. Similarly, the furniture, despite being pretty, was not very functional, especially in the twin room and kitchen (which could benefit from a little revamp and restock of supplies like more cooking apparatus and better washing up facilities). But as we were only there for 3 days, it didn’t bother us much and instead we ate out for every meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment. Great location, authentic design, responsive host and beautiful views.

Si estás por reservar, no lo dudes más, reserva y quedate en este apartamento, la ubicación es excelente, la vista de ensueño, lastima que vas a querer quedarte mucho tiempo en el apartamento y no vas a querer salir a pasear por las calles de Atenas. Sin duda no exagero la vista de día es hermosa, pero de noche vas a sorprender. Si estás por tomar la decisión no dudes más y reserva con John. Sino lo haces te vas arrepentir, haceme caso, reserva ya y disfruta de una vista única.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. We are a family of 3 with a young child and felt this place is perfect in Athens. 1) fantastic apartment that is spacious (separate room and living room), clean and very well equipped. 2) wonderful and proactive owners who went out of their way to help us. Eg, there was a taxi strike in Athens, and Thanasis helped provide detail instructions proactively on how to get from the airport to the apartment. When the strike extended, he also dropped us to the airport early in the morning. Can’t underscore how wonderful they are! 3) Great location - it’s a buzzing locality with great restaurants and lots of things to do (close to Syntagma) Highly recommended!!!

The place was in immaculate condition and the bed was extremely comfortable. Probably the best bed I’ve ever slept on at an Airbnb. Location was close to shopping and all of the sightseeing. Great coffee shop 10 feet outside the front door. Paid Security watched parking right around the corner open 24 hours a day and willing to accommodate parking needs or requests. The host was very responsive, friendly, and willing to help us in anyway. I would definitely stay there again

An amazing stay! The host made us feel so welcomed and so at home. The sweetest people ever. The place was beautiful and had modern and up to date technology. One of the nicest places we have stayed in. It was only a 10 minute walk to the metro and the host offered to drive us to the metro for free. If we return to Athens, we will definitely be staying here again! 10/10 experience.

Superbe appartement idéalement situé à proximité du métro. l'appartement au sous sol est parfait pour éviter les grosses chaleurs et la petite terrasse est idéale pour boire un café ou fumer une cigarette. Danae a été très réactive et nous a autorisé à venir plus tôt que l'heure prévue pour nous arranger. Merci encore !

A very well equipped apartment with a lovely view from the balcony, down into the many balconies and streets of the quarter. You can catch a glimpse of Acropolis from the second small balcony. Everything worked perfectly, thank you for the nice stay! :)
