Holiday rentals with a patio in Kypseli, Athens

Although situated out of the centre of Athens, everywhere you want to visit is walkable with good access to trams and metro. The location is more residential but the apartment more than made up for being non central, and quite nice being away from crowds. The views from the balcony towards the Acropolis are amazing, especially whilst in the hot tub! The space is modern with great attention to detail and superbly clean and tidy with a lovely bottle of Prosecco to welcome us. Lots of cafes and restaurants in close proximity albeit not in the touristy area. The host was super helpful, great communication and proactive with help and advice.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's a lovely, classic studio apartment, nestled away on a bustling yet peaceful Kypseli street. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with any basics a person might need, the light is beautiful, and the pair of balconies are the cherry on top. Marilyn & Chris even gave me a lift to the flat on the first day. Should you be lucky enough to have a chance to be hosted by these kind people, do it!

Our stay at Matias and Leo's place was nothing short of wonderful. Leo was a very responsive host, and kindly responded very promptly to our requests. We had a great check in experience, meeting Leo at the property, despite the late hour. The host's recommendations were excellent, and the location of the property was a short 5 min walk to the nearest trainline (Sepolia) where we could easily access all the most popular sites in Athens. A great little kitchen, equipped with everything we needed. And while the bathroom was small, was still very functional. The bed was comfy, and clean and the balcony filled with plants, a day bed and comfy seats were a great place to sit in the mornings. All in all we could not fault our stay and would highly recommend to those staying in Athens!

The apartment is located in a very peaceful, quiet, and safe area. Being a rooftop apartment, I was able to enjoy sitting outside (on both sides, for the sunrise and the sunset), reading, and drinking coffee in the morning and evening. Since you are halfway up Mount Likavettos, you have a view of the entire southeast part of Athens, while on the north side of your apartment you can watch the sun hit the church on top of Likavettos and feel the breeze come through the forest across the street (lots of nice paths to walk, and you can powerwalk around the mountain or walk up to the top for the greatest cardio workout). I really appreciated the little things like paper towels, soaps and shampoo, much toilet paper, and other items that few hosts provide, but Christos provided. (I even had a bag of ice in the freezer!) The shower is the largest I have experienced in Athens (and I used to live in Athens and visit the city 2 or 3 times a year), and the elevator and washer especially welcome.

Arrived in evening & found entrance was at far end of road which was uphill. Taxis were on strike day we arrived after a 45 minute walk 😢. We should’ve caught the Metro. Keyless entry system worked fine. Wi-Fi worked well. Tried local restaurant the 1st evening, recommended & cheap. Apartment had all amenities except a microwave which we didn’t need. Spotlessly clean & & photos are accurate. Nice complimentary bottle of wine & water on arrival. Jacuzzi on patio was lovely. Text communication with Panagiotis was excellent & he messaged several times to ensure we were OK. Used local metro at bottom of hill which is great to get into central Athens & only €1.20 a journey. Uber is about €7. Breakfast in morning on back patio is lovely as sun rises with distant view of Acropolis. Nice to sit on front balcony at end of day watching sun set. Panagiotis was so helpful with any text communication. Would highly recommend.

The hosts have really put an effort in making the house into a welcoming and cozy home. Attention to detail, amazing decor, small touches that make the place inviting and modern. 100% recommend, the location is great as well. Thank you!

Clean accommodation and inside the apartment and outside the surrounding area. Very beautiful garden, very well maintained. Friendly and direct host, he was there for whatever we needed with a good mood. All those who offered services at the accommodation were helpful. Excellent location, very convenient for any activity, easy access everywhere, in the center of Athens, to museums, cultural sites, entertainment venues, restaurants. I highly recommend Marios' accommodation. I will choose it again.

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

Beautiful and spacious house in a quiet neighborhood. I really recommend it unreservedly. Fully equipped and the hostess was very kind, she allowed us to leave at any time we wanted the next day and we appreciated it very much.

Thank you Ioannis, this was my first visit to Athens and I had everything I could wish for. A small flat which was a great place to be alone in, and a base for excursions. And it was cool in style and temperature!

We had an amazing stay enjoying the beautiful roof terrace, local market, restaurants and harbour beach. Panayotis and his family was very kind and helpful, we would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. We are a family of 3 with a young child and felt this place is perfect in Athens. 1) fantastic apartment that is spacious (separate room and living room), clean and very well equipped. 2) wonderful and proactive owners who went out of their way to help us. Eg, there was a taxi strike in Athens, and Thanasis helped provide detail instructions proactively on how to get from the airport to the apartment. When the strike extended, he also dropped us to the airport early in the morning. Can’t underscore how wonderful they are! 3) Great location - it’s a buzzing locality with great restaurants and lots of things to do (close to Syntagma) Highly recommended!!!

Apartment is as shown in the pictures, very clean and with attention to detail, lighting options is nice, the view is open space towards the sea, all comforts available.

Sofia, the hostess, was exceptionally kind and welcoming – she met me personally on arrival and made me feel at home right away. Communication with her was excellent both before and during my stay – always prompt, clear, and thoughtful. The flat itself is pristine clean, stylishly decorated, and perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore everything. I also really appreciated the flexible check-in and check-out times, which added so much convenience to my trip. Overall, a fantastic experience – I would happily stay there again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The place was a great. It was nice to be on a neighborhood a little away from the crowds. It was peaceful on the terrace. There were two really good restaurants within a block and half. Along with some bakeries, coffee shops and mini markets. Made it very convenient! Place was very clean and comfortable.

An amazing stay! The host made us feel so welcomed and so at home. The sweetest people ever. The place was beautiful and had modern and up to date technology. One of the nicest places we have stayed in. It was only a 10 minute walk to the metro and the host offered to drive us to the metro for free. If we return to Athens, we will definitely be staying here again! 10/10 experience.

A very well equipped apartment with a lovely view from the balcony, down into the many balconies and streets of the quarter. You can catch a glimpse of Acropolis from the second small balcony. Everything worked perfectly, thank you for the nice stay! :)
