The house is simply unique. The view of the lake is breathtaking and it is great that you are right in the forest. Incredibly beautiful. We felt super comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. Kari is very accommodating and even organized a child's life jacket for our daughter at short notice. Thank you! The hot tub and sauna are in top condition and the kitchen is very well furnished. All in all, it was a great, relaxing vacation for us and we didn't miss anything.

If you're looking for some peace and quiet in a beautiful environment, this is the place to be. It is just wonderful to jump right into the lake from the sauna. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

What a little gem of a place, a 10-minute drive from Kouvola. Very cozy and clean, well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The sauna is a great bonus. Exactly as described, a super convenient and clean spot walking distance from a few supermarkets, pubs, and a pharmacy. Peaceful place, slept really well despite the adjacent train tracks. Loved the wood finish and the whole look of the place.

We stayed at Joni’s place for a weekend during a music festival. The apartment worked well for us even though we were 4 people and the apartment is quite small (which was clearly communicated to us) Overall a great place to stay in the centre of Strömfors Iron works. Joni was a great host, and all communication worked well with him. The apartment matched the description and there was all the necessary amenities!

Recently renovated modern apartment, equally suitable for short- and long-term stays. Has all the essential appliances, including a stove, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Clean and comfortable. Conveniently located right next to a bus stop, with 2 large supermarkets 5 minutes away. Communication with the host was timely and helpful.

Beach Kari's cottage is in a great location by the sea, on a beautiful island. Karhula and Kotka services a short drive away. Neighbors are close, but the area is very peaceful. The cottage is cozy and atmospheric, with everything you need. Big warm terrace with seascape best in the cottage. Thanks!

Eeva was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. We felt at home right away and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The sauna and direct access to the lake are highlights we appreciated a lot!

This was my second visit and it was as wonderful as it was last time - very peaceful and relaxing.

This accommodation had a very good price-quality ratio. The destination was easy to find, clean and fully matched the description. The hosts had prepared good instructions both online and separately in writing for the accommodation. Everything went smoothly and the messages were answered quickly. I liked the “dry land cottage”, but the lake was also a couple of Seppo Rädyn pulls away, so you could go swimming. Special mention of good, dry trees, which heated the sauna and water quickly. Otherwise, really nice saunas. I went every day, even though I'm not even a special sauna. I highly recommend this place 😊

We had a great stay in Elisas house, and the surrounding area was very beautiful. Other houses were relatively nearby, but people here were very quiet. We could hear traffic on the main road to Kuovola, but it was about 500 meters away so not a great problem. The main house does not have any internal doors, so for snoring people it is like a big room. However, with 3 other buildings on the grounds we could just split up and everybody had uninterrupted sleep. :-) As for things to do, we went for long (25+ km) walks in the Repovesi National park and really enjoyed a very worthwhile visit to the Verla Mill.

A peaceful, warm, and spacious cottage in the middle of the woods, where you can enjoy your own peace of mind. The sauna had gentle steam and a nice dip in the ice cold water of the pond. The flowers and candles were a happy surprise. :)
