Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Sommarøya is a small village 1 hour outside Tromsø. There is a bus twice a day on weekdays, during the weekend a bus runs Sunday evening. There is good parking for the rental car. In addition to listed rooms, the house has a room with a double sofa bed. This room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. There are also a room with a singel bed. Animals are allowed at request. Cosy appartment in Kaldfjord, Tromsø. Nice and quiet surroundings. Perfect area for northern light-hunting. In December-January you may see the whale in the fjord outside the house. In winterseason 2018 we haven’t see the whales. Hope they are back in November 2018. 10 km from the airport and 15 km to the town-centre of Tromsø.
