Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

das Haus besticht durch die schöne Lage direkt am Meer, wir konnten direkt von der Terrasse aus Nordlichter beobachten. der Wohnraum lädt für gemütliche Stunden am Feuer ein. im Nordic Hotel 500m zu Fuss gab es ein super Frühstücks Buffet. wir können eine Aufenthalt hier also wärmstens empfehlen, es fehlt an nichts!

Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt. Es war sehr ruhig und der Ausblick war wunderschön!! Wir haben sogar Polarlichter sehen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Marielle's place is very spacious, clean and has a fantastic view over the fjord. It is a great location to go skitouring on Kvaløya, one route starts only a few minutes away from the house. There is a well equipped, large kitchen and a great coffee machine. Everything was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Wonderful location, not far from the airport, with stellar views out to the fjord. There are many outstanding hikes within a 45 minute radius. Thanks for the pointers on hiking and the excellent market nearby. Lena’s cabin is definitely recommended.

We felt very welcomed. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and every piece was placed with a thought in mind. The house rules seem very detailed at first, but they should ensure that you handle the property with respect. The host was very helpful and it was easy to connect, even though we just stayed for one night.

Absolute Empfehlung! Thorleif hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben und auch vor Ort mit Schneeschuhen ausgestattet, sodass wir direkt eine Schneewanderung hinter dem Haus zu einem Aussichtspunkt fernab der Touristengruppen machen konnten. Sehr hilfsbereit, sympathisch, einfach. Die Lage war super durch den Bus erreichbar und der Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke ist auch ein Plus. Danke!

Jonathan’s rental house in Fjordgård was simply wonderful. Right on the water in a small town in Senja. Hiking trails to Hesten mountain and other locations are literally right outside the door! A floating sauna, which can be rented by the hour is a few doors down. The house is comfortably furnished with modern and extremely comfortable design. Four bedrooms upstairs were just right for our party of six. Would definitely stay again.

This Airbnb is located very close to Tromsø airport, which makes it a perfect stopover if you’re flying in or out. We had a bit of trouble finding the right entrance at first, but once inside we were pleasantly surprised by the space. One of the highlights was seeing reindeer walking through the backyard — such a unique and unexpected experience! The beds were comfortable, and despite the midnight sun, the room stayed nicely dark, so we had a good night’s sleep.

Our stay here was absolutely magical, with breathtaking fjord and mountain views that felt like a dream. The highlight was witnessing the Northern Lights dance right from the windows, no need to chase them, as we had a front-row seat from the warmth of our stay. On top of that, our host, Knut, was incredibly responsive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Everything was so perfect that leaving felt almost impossible. If you're looking for a scenic, comfortable, and unforgettable experience near Tromsø, this place is truly a gem!

We stayed at Britt Annie's place for two nights and always felt very comfortable. It had a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom and a cosy little bedroom. Britt was always very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend a stay with Britt!

We had a very nice stay. Marcus was a very welcoming host! The flat was perfect for 2 and the views and surroundings were beautiful. Nice outdoor area to enjoy beautiful weather.

Bel appartement très cosy à l’étage d’une maison donnant sur le fjord, situé à moins de 10 minutes en voiture tant de l’aéroport que du centre ville. Il y a 2 chambres avec des lits très confortables, une cuisine bien équipée, une salle de bain avec une grande douche et un grand salon lumineux et accueillant. Un petit balcon offre une vue splendide sur le fjord. Frank a toujours été réactif et de bons conseils. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons sans réserve cet hébergement.

We really enjoyed our stay here and in the delightful, picturesque village of Ersfjordbotn. For any visitors hoping to use the bus, number 425 Mon to Fri goes from/to Tromsø, only a few times per day and on a Saturday it's the 425 then 42 (no service on a Sunday). The location of this apartment is stunning and we enjoyed deep snow while we were there. The apartment/kitchen is well equipped, the bed has a firm mattress and it is more spacious than photos might suggest. I would have loved a door on the bedroom or curtains on the living area/front door as even in March it gets light at 5am! There is no shop in Ersfjordbotn so you will need to bring absolutely everything you need with you. There is a fabulous café though which we highly recommend visiting for lunch or a cake.

We are thankful that Håkøya Lodge was available for our stay in Tromsø! It was cozy, peaceful, private & clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. From the lodge it was easy to drive into Tromsø as well as over to Sommarøy & Senja. Nina & Bjørn are fantastic hosts! They provided clear, easy instructions for driving to and accessing the lodge. They happened to be working outside when we arrived and offered a warm welcome. We enjoyed being able to visit with them. Håkøya Lodge was a great place to wrap up the road trip portion of our Norwegian vacation! We would happily stay with Nina and Bjørn again!

Excellent experience, I would definitely come back! The house was super clean, warm, and well-equipped. It's located right by the sea, super quiet zone, you can't hear any cars, and you're surrounded by mountains. There's a supermarket near the house that has everything. But if you arrive very late, I recommend bringing food because it will be closed. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Grete and her husband were very kind and helpful at all times. Great stay! Check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the city center, Main Street, and the cathedral. The room was small but well-equipped and perfect for a short stay. The highlight was spotting the Northern Lights from the rooftop terrace—a fantastic bonus! Would definitely recommend.

Appartement très bien situé, au calme, avec parking inclus. À 30 mon à pied du centre ville et à 5 min de la randonnée Sherpatrappa. Bien équipé. Hôte réactif. Super séjour.

We loved the stay!! The apartment is super cozy and I liked the separated but private bathroom. The neighborhood is perfect if you have a rental car and want to explore the surrounding nature and do day trips. You can very quickly get to good spots for northern light watching. But also without car, it’s easy to get around by public transport - just takes a bit longer. Supermarket is in walking distance. Lisabeth helped us out and was always reachable when needed :)

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft mit meiner Meinung nach, sehr bequemen Bett. Ich habe wirklich nichts auszusetzen und die Gastgeberin hat schnell auf Rückfragen geantwortet und sogar lokale Sicherheitsmeldungen für Touristen weitergeleitet. Es ist Einzig zu beachten, dass es sich wie in diesem Land üblich um ein Holzhaus handelt und man die Schritte der Besitzer wahrnehmen kann welche sich aber wirklich leise verhalten. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat sollte vielleicht Ohrstöpsel verwenden.

Excellent location which is not far from the Tromso airport. Right at the edge of an aurora viewing but away from the hustle of the city. Hosts (Thomas and Lisa) have been super responsive, and helping with directions and recommendations. We definitely recommend this place and the hosts for anyone wishing for a peaceful stay in quintessential but residential neighbourhood, while being not too far from Tromso airport and the City sentrum.
