Cottage holiday rentals in Kushog Lake

Amazing time at this wonderful cottage. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and have put a lot of time and energy into making this cottage an excellent stay. The hosts for this cottage clearly have a passion for making people feel right at home. Thoughtfully, they've left notes, instructions, videos, and even created home automations to make staying here as easy as possible. Everything was fully stocked from cutlery, spices, cleaning supplies, linens, etc. there was almost nothing that they missed out on that a group of people might need! The Hot tub and Suna were wonderful additions that we took full advantage of. The bed rooms and guest houses were cozy and comfortable (with AC/heating). The waters were very nice. Sandy lake that doesn't get too deep until much much further out. The dock was well constructed and great for relaxing. Overall, one of the best AirBnB cottages that we've stayed at in years.

Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

Our overall experience with Srishti's listing was excellent. The host was very eaisly reachable, and extremely kind. The property was well maintained and met all our expectations. The hot tub was the best ! The property is situated right across the lake making the view so beautiful, enjoyed just being lazy on the balcony. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to get a way for a few days where nature is at it's best.

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing group stay!

My husband and I spent the whole weekend with our family at this cottage. It was everything we hoped for and more! Beautiful interior, serene beach with dock, and lots of activities. Only a 5 minute drive to Port Carling shopping centre and restaurant’s. I highly recommend to plan a family vacation at this cottage in Muskoka! 10/10

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

A colleague and I stayed at David’s place while we were working nearby. It was super comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. Communication and instructions were great. I’d love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful time here on a short excursion out of the city! the cottage itself is magical with a beautiful view of the lake and a gorgeous back patio shaded by trees. Bryan and Pam were very helpful and had made sure to provide everything we needed and more

Susan is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. The home was fully equipped with everything you would find in your own home, as well everything was clean. Beautiful sunsets on the dock on a peaceful lake. Highly recommend renting the extra kayak and SUP boards.

Beautiful spot with all the amenities. Feels private and secluded yet only a 10 minute drive from downtown Huntsville. James was super accommodating and responsive to our needs, would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance!

This cottage was amazing. The place was entirely as described and the prior reviews were spot on. Roxana was very helpful, gave tons of recommendations and was very kind and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable, the AC was perfect and I literally can’t think of a single critique. A really nice touch with the s’mores station that my kid basically ate all of. We will definitely be back!!

Excellent family friendly cottage on quiet and peaceful lake! We especially loved the sauna, fire pit, pedal boat, canoe, epic VHS movie collection and the close proximity to a super cool natural rock formation that was perfect for jumping off of! The host is great-very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommended this place!

We had a lovely stay at Navid’s place! The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities you could think to need. The property itself was beautiful, with a well maintained deck, and easy access to the water. Navid was a very responsive and kind host. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again!

We had the most lovely stay at Amanda's lake side cottage. The property is very private with 180 degree panoramic lake view. The swimming was amazing and refreshing as the temperature was just perfect. I love the options of walking into the lake via a staircase on the shallow end, or dive into the deep end from the dock. The cottage is a Canadian classic with beautiful wood paneling through out and features a stunning stone fireplace, it feels very peaceful and earthy. The kitchen is fully stocked with everyday cooking needs. We really enjoy dining on the large harvest table with gorgeous lake view. The bathroom is clean and the shower is hot! We love the linen beddings as they were so soft and comfortable. Our highlights were late night conversations on 2 large and comfortable sofas and listening to loon calls echoing in the distance, star gazing and morning coffees on the dock and of course, incredible swimming, SUP and canoeing opportunities. Highly recommened!

Everything as expected, except the difficulty getting from vehicle to cottage. I have severe assessibility issues and one other person beside myself although not as severe as myself had some as well. With railing and mainly steps to water getting there doable. However the heavy stones and steep incline from driveway to stone steps and no railing with stone steps necessitated the 2 other guests supporting us other 2 quite a bit to get in and out. It looks as though you may be in the process of trying to address this problem. Certainly looked as though some leveling and tiering with retaining walls and railings might really help. That said, so grateful to have had the time at your beautiful spot.

Our stay at Darren's place was perfect. The sandy beach and plentiful ammenities for the kids was exactly what we needed. There were a few hiccups but the host is very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this spot for any family looking for a great getaway without having to bring too much with them. Thanks for everything Darren, we would love to come back again!

Our stay at the Eh Frame Haus was awesome. The cabin is beautiful and private and the property is spectacular. We loved the private dock, hot tub and big living room-was roomy for 4 of us, but definitely enough space for 6 or more. Janessa was a great host and check-in and everything was easy. Can’t recommend this place enough, we had a great time!

This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Cottage is well maintained and the lake view is just surreal. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic hosts and stay at Algonquin Delight! Well equipped with great cottage gear for a very comfortable stay! Power went out following a big storm and the hosts were very responsive! This was very much appreciated. Power came back shortly after. There were great options for board games and big windows for plenty of light to pass the time without power during the storm! We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Priolo on the Bay – Moody Escape, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Andy is a truly exceptional host. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet cozy escape. The cottage itself is immaculate – modern, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. It strikes the perfect balance between high-end living and rustic charm. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!
