Takehara City is located halfway between Wu and Onomichi, along the coast. The inn is a two-story, detached, and courtyard built in the Edo period in the center of the "Keihara Town Preservation District (National Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District)", a 13-minute walk from J R Takehara Station and a 20-minute drive from Hiroshima Airport. In the morning and evening, there is almost no traffic, and you can spend a quiet time like you have traveled back in time to the town of the Edo period. The large free space on the second floor is a large space with luxurious ceiling beams, and the windows overlook the streets of the town.From the room facing the courtyard on the second floor, you can see Fu Mingkaku, which is also a landmark of Takehara. In an art renovated space with an emphasis on organic materials, you can enjoy only one art in various places. A house in the middle of a forest. Enjoy mountain life in one of the few magnificent old houses built by Miyadaiku. At the house at the end of a fairytale forest road, you can BBQ, make a fire, boil a Goemon bath, and enjoy natural play that can only be experienced in the mountains. There are no street lights, and at night you can see the starry sky. Spending time feeling the mountain with all your senses, which can be seen in different ways depending on the season, reminds you of the rich, peaceful time that has been forgotten in modern times. Centered on a magnificent large pillar, it is an old house with earthen walls and built-in storage, but the first floor is covered with pure cedar boards, giving it a new feel. The water area features a newly built island kitchen and a large wash basin. The bath is a Goemon bath that uses both wood and gas, so you can cook with wood or use hot water. Outside the house, there is a friendly sign cat named Aosuke, who will come up to you if you are outside. It is located about 15 minutes by car from the Ishikari Mountain ropeway, making it easy to get to the mountains.

You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.
