Cabin holiday rentals in Kuopio

We had a pleasant and successful holiday in the middle of exceptionally beautiful and peaceful lake Finland. All around, there were only the sounds of birds. We felt welcome and the accommodation met and exceeded our expectations. Our little schoolchild also enjoyed it. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We can warmly recommend the property to nature travelers.

We stayed 5 weeks in this incredible accommodation and if we could have stayed 5 more we would have 🤩 The photos don't do justice to the beauty of the place, which is even more beautiful in real life! It was a really good surprise The house is perfectly equipped, very comfortable and the cleaning was impeccable when we arrived 😊 We will miss the magnificent sunsets over the lake in the evening! Thank you again for allowing us to experience this stay 🙏

Our group had an absolutely amazing stay at Samuli's cabin, it's a place we will all cherish as we were able to create long-lasting memories. Everything was exactly as described, and there were no issues arriving and checking into the cabin. The cozy vibes simply cannot be photographed – the place is much better in person! Throughout the entire process, from pre-booking to after our stay, Samuli has been an extraordinarily helpful and proactive host, probably the best I've experienced on AirBnB. I am super grateful for his excellent communication skills and his quick responses to our questions. One thing that was slightly difficult (only because it was about -20C on the coldest day we were there) was the heating of the sauna in the winter. It took a lot of effort to keep the fire burning, but eventually we were able to enjoy some nice löyly. This is all of course understandable as it is primarily a summer cabin. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

We spent a week at Arja's place and everything was perfect . The cottage is incredibly well located, far enough from the pavement so we are not disturbed and at the edge of the beautiful lake it was beautiful. There's plenty of things to do around with good hiking opportunities. Thank you for everything!

Excellent listing, would have stayed longer. Wood sauna 🧡 Maybe the only area for improvement would be a more modern TV that could be connected to your own devices, use to listen to music, or use to watch streaming. Otherwise no complaints about anything 🤗

Peaceful and secluded place, the house is a very cocooning little paradise and very well-equipped. Too bad we only stayed 2 nights!

This place was the absolute highlight of our trip to Finland! It's the most beautiful little island and everything was very clean and tidy. We really enjoyed it and would love to return one day.

Cozy cottage by the lake, with everything you could wish for a peaceful and cozy stay. We chose to sleep in the annex (4 beds) which worked perfectly. Extra plus with wood-fired sauna and natural location. It's nice to exercise east of the road in a nice pine forest. Very friendly hosts, who responded quickly and were helpful.

What a lovely little cottage tucked away by a lake. My son and I were on a road trip and contacted Thomas in the late afternoon for a same-day booking. He responded very quickly, and when we arrived two hours later, the wood for the sauna was ready and so were the towels. The place is clean and idyllic. I highly recommend it!

This was our first time in Tahko and we liked the place a lot. The cottage is excellent and very well located. In the wintertime you can access the slopes directly from the cottage without car. You just ski on the frozen lake to the nearest lift. We liked our stay a lot. The cottage is well equipped and was just perfect for our family of 5 persons.

The cottage worked well for a group of 7 people, plus a big sauna and a lot. Communication worked well with the owner, and there was no problem. I'd book again!

Cozy cottage with everything you need for a weekend. Terja was responsive and friendly and very friendly. Arrival and departure were successful on a flexible schedule. The location of the cottage is very peaceful. For more people, maybe I think it would be a little cramped for two people and two dogs:)

A clean and simple cottage with basic equipment. Plus a boat and a lovely hut where you can grill. The air source heat pump was good on hot days. Tidy up the yard could bring more looks to the yard:)

We spent one night in both cottages in Ranta-Mäntylä. The yard was beautiful and the outdoor living areas were comfortable. The cottage and barn were well equipped and tidy. Communication with Aila went very smoothly, we also met her on the spot. I highly recommend Ranta-Mäntylä to others!
