Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kungsholmen

Lisa and Martin were great hosts! It's a gorgeous house in a fantastic location. It's removed enough from the city to feel a little calmer but still very convenient and easy to get downtown. The house was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We definitely recommend it!

Das Haus ist etwas ganz besonderes, ein Ort mit Seele! Wir haben die Zeit an diesem Platz sehr genossen und würden gerne wiederkommen. Susanna, als auch Ihr Mann, waren entzückend!

Erg leuk huisje. Rustig gelegen. Hertjes kijken door het raam naar binnen. Op wandelafstand van de metro (en winkels). Vlakbij een supermarkt. Hoewel wij direct na aankomst met de metro boodschappen deden bij het station. Alles was aanwezig, ook een föhn. Efficiënt ingericht. Slaapkamer is niet zo ruim (zoals te zien is op de foto's) maar voor ons was dat geen enkel probleem. De ramen zijn goed te verduisteren. Lena (host) gaf ons tips en reageerde snel op berichten. Een zeer fijne plek om Stockholm te ontdekken.

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

Wir kamen auf Empfehlung unseres Sohnes in diese schöne Unterkunft und haben uns dort gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Check in klappte hervorragend und alles war genau beschrieben und mit Fotos erklärt. Das Häuschen ist perfekt und liebevoll eingerichtet- es fehlt an nichts! Wer nach einem Besuch in der City Ruhe, Erholung und Natur sucht, ist hier bestens untergebracht. Wir waren nur mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs- das war kein Problem Dank einer sehr guten Verkehrsanbindung. Auch im Garten in Wassernähe kann man es sich richtig gemütlich machen und den tollen Blick genießen. Kajsa und Jesper sind sehr sympathische Gastgeber, mit denen wir einen sehr netten Kontakt hatten. Wenn wir wieder einmal in Stockholm sind , kommen wir gerne wieder in dieses tolle Haus zurück!

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold hos Axel. Alt så ut som på bildene, men opplevdes enda triveligere enn forventet. Leiligheten var ryddig og smart, og det var et godt sted å være. Den lå i et rolig område. Axel ga veldig god informasjon og kommunikasjonen var svært vennlig. Det var ingenting vi savnet. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake! Camilla

Katilina's place is ideally located in a quiet yet very accessible area of Sweden's capital. The apartment has a cool vibe with nice design touches and felt really comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

En ren og veldig fin leilighet. Gode senger. Soverom mot stille bakgård. Godt isolert mot trafikk på stuesiden. T-banestasjon ett minutt å gå fra leiligheten med bra forbindelser videre rundt i Stockholm. Perfekt sted for deg som skal oppleve byen. Ligger like ved en trafikkert vei, men den hører du ikke i leiligheten. Og der har du uansett ikke tenkt å sitte når du har en av Europas fineste byer å oppleve. Jeg har vært i Stockholm 30-40 ganger og kommer gjerne tilbake til denne leiligheten.

The place was easy to find. The neighborhood was great with numerous restaurants within walking distant. Also 2 grocery stores nearby. The bus line is only a block away. It's approx a 30 min walk to 'Old Town'. We were a party of 4 adults (2 couples) and the apartment was fine. Even though the apartment is listed as on the 1st floor, we Americans would call it the 2nd floor. The stairs were not an issue and having an elevator made transporting the luggage so much easier. It was quiet, clean and in a great location. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Vi var godt tilfredse med opholdet og Kiira var nem at komme i kontakt med. Der var pænt og rent og lejeligheden lignede billederne. Det hele levede op til forventningerne.

We had a great stay in Huvudsta. The apartment was very clean, organized, and spacious. Vy, the host, was very responsive and made us feel very welcome. The area is family-friendly with many green areas, walking routes, and the water nearby. Reaching the city center of Stockholm is easy either by subway or by bike. Would definitely recommend!

Dejlig lille lejlighed i roligt kvarter, med busstop tæt på. Mulighed for smuk løbetur rundt langs kystlinjen på naboen Kungsholmen. Indkøbsmulighed i nærheden. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Dali is great! She met me when I arrived to give me the keys and show me the place. She has always been super responsive to any questions I've had. The place is great and is exactly like the pictures. The location is a 3 minute walk to the metro and is very easy to get anywhere. I feel very safe in the building and neighborhood.

Monica is a great host. She was always responsive. The apartment is big and there is a lot of natural light. It's really close to the public transportation system. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and clean space.

We had a wonderful stay at Pelle’s apartment in Stockholm! From the moment we arrived, Pelle was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The apartment had everything we needed — it was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay! The place is gorgeous and well kept, even better than the pictures, it’s spacious and has a lot of natural light. Perfect location in the heart of SoFo, a lot of bars and restaurants and an easy stroll to the other islands. Barbara was amazing, super nice and helpful, answered every question and gave us a lot of suggestions. We had the best time and would definitely come back

The location was perfect! It was a well equipped space. Comfortable. Some noise from the restaurant neighbors- but didn’t bother us- wasn’t noisy early or late. Neighborhood was excellent- tons of restaurants, bars, shops and sights- and easy access to public transport.

Все пройшло чудово! Lina була дуже любʼязна, прийняла нас трошки раніше часу заїзду, за що ми вдячні. Поруч тихо спокійно, є парк в якому можна прогулятись і дуже красива природа. Недалеко є транспорт на якому можна доїхати куди завгодно. Все зручно і дуже затишно. Також є супермаркети зі всім необхідним. Плюс заклади де можна поїсти. Дуже вдячні за теплий прийом🥰!!

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place.
