Pure nature enjoyment at the edge of the forest! A fantastic place to recharge and rest, but there are also no limits to many sporting activities. The property is located a little off the beaten track at the end of the village. In the immediate vicinity there are climbing rocks, hiking trails and a river for kayaking. Cyclists and motorcyclists will also get their money's worth. All over the property there are 2 vacation homes with private, separate outdoor areas. Free parking at the house.

The apartment is in the district of Höferänger and offers a perfect starting point for hikes/snow tours/ski tours in the Franconian Forest and Fichtelgebirge. Parking is available free of charge, parking for bicycles is also available. The bike path is right in front of the grounds. Kulmbach center is about 5 km away. The cities of Bayreuth and Kronach are in 30 and 20 minutes, respectively. Travel time.

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. There was plenty of room for 4 people and everything was available. Unfortunately, we were only there for a weekend, the accommodation definitely has potential for a longer stay 😊 The view of Plassenberg Castle was always a highlight and of course we also walked there. The old town of Kulmbach was within walking distance. The small terrace invited us to linger (fortunately the weather played along and we were also able to use it😊) The beds were very comfortable and all the amenities, as well as the apartment, were very tastefully decorated and everything was new and in perfect condition. We can definitely recommend the place.

It was the first time I've been to an Airbnb. I felt very comfortable there, everything you needed was there. It was decorated with a lot of love. Clean and tidy. All the necessary information was also there. Even if it was only for one night I would come back anytime.

Wonderful stay, recommended! The apartment was very clean and exceeded our expectations. The place is simply fantastic, a beautiful view of the mountains and it was pleasantly quiet. We were so excited that we were very sad when we had to leave. Without a doubt, we will be happy to come back and can recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and restful stay.

We had a lovely time staying at Verena's place in Stadtsteinach. The location is convenient in the center of a town with a butcher and bakery within the same square. There are also plenty of amazing hikes just a few KM from the town square. Just about 10 minutes away there's a cafe/restaurant and also a large supermarket. The space itself is very cozy and warm with many bedrooms/bathrooms and a cute livingroom/kitchen. I traveled with a party of 4 and we were able to fit comfortably. There is a laundry machine in the basement but make sure to ask the host where it is so you know which one to use. Will hopefully visit again in the future
