Cosy, peaceful cottage in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. Beautiful scenery, warm fire, less than 10 minutes from one of the best pubs in the hills. Comfy bed, hot shower, hot bath. Everything you need. No wi-fi, and very patchy mobile phone service, but who cares when you're in a place like this? Fantastic stay.

Had a wonderful stay here with a friend for Gather Round 2025. Well positioned for the Adelaide Oval games. Also on the free city bus loop which was helpful. Regina was super responsive and helpful with check in etc. The cottage is lovely and decked out in period furniture. Beds were comfy Thanks for the stay

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was beautiful, romantic, and in the perfect location. The complimentary bacon, eggs, bread, and wine were such thoughtful touches. Great amenities, cozy vibe, and overall so worth the trip — we’d come back in a heartbeat!

I've done a fair bit of travelling and without a doubt, this is one of the best Airbnb's I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. It has everything you'd need for a holiday, it's great to see that there are hosts out there that still care about providing a memorable experience and not only a roof over their customers heads. I can't reccomend this place enough. I would definitely reccomend to family and friends, and I will definitely be back!!

Gorgeous little cottage with amazing views and probably one of the best beds I've slept on in an air bnb. Jason was always available to answer my questions and gave amazing recommendations of things to do locally. I wouldn't hesitate returning. Thank you :-)

This is our second time staying at this beautiful little place. The location is great. We could walk to get groceries or get coffee at the beach. Nice little parks nearby. The house itself has all you need. Gillian was super friendly and communicated well. She went above and beyond for us :)

Great place to stay if you'd like to walk to the shops and restaurants in McLaren Vale. Well furnished home with everything you want in the kitchen. Anna is very responsive and easy to communicate with.

We just spent the long weekend at Olga's place. It was exactly what we imagined and did exactly what we needed - family down time, great views, simple screen free weekend. The place was spotless, fire was ready to go, dog had a blast running around the enclosed area. We spent an evening painting the view from a photo we took during the day and then projected on the blinds, explored deep creek conservation park and played lots of cards and board games (supplied) by the fire ☺️ Oh and a windy winters walk up to the next paddock to feed the friendly horse and donkey! As a gorgeous heritage home right in the heart of town, 48 West is the perfect place to relax, spend time with family and use as a base to explore the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Great place to stay. Everything you need is available and clean. Welcome pack in the fridge is good after a long day travel. It is walking distance to the beach and cafes. The house is a good size and suits us well for a hassle free getaway.

Shell was so welcoming and a great communicator. This place is as described and very central to shops and restaurants and so close to the CBD which suited us perfectly. We can not wait to stay here again. Thanks heaps Shell.

The cottage was as enchanting as promised. We loved the understated warmth and charm of this getaway. Arriving to a heated house, and other treats including a good bottle of shiraz was especially appreciated. We were so taken with this beautiful cottage that we booked it again almost straight away - and look forward to our return. Highly recommended :)

The Cottage is a beautiful home located in the heart of McLaren Vale. There are so many wineries right on your doorstep - some even walking distance or only a short drive away. The home has all the amenities needed for a weekend away and is beautifully appointed. You won’t be disappointed.

We enjoyed Han's Garden Studio. It is comfortable and relaxing, located in a productive home garden. We appreciated the excellent home made jam, fruit from the trees and also the generous shop bought provisions. The kitchen is very easy to use. The living area has an interesting collection of books. We were able to use the washing machine and dry our clothes outside. Bus and supermarket a very short walk. A lovely welcoming couple, who gave us privacy in cosy, yet spacious accommodation for 2. We would definitely recommended for a short or longer stay. Thank you Hans and Maria

Beautiful view, loved the combustion heater, neat and homey place so anyone looking for a place to stay in the area should consider this nice shack.

This place is a hidden gem even during South Australian winter. The place was extremely peaceful and private. It was the perfect spot for a family with small children who are interested in animals. They had sheep and horses to pet and feed. Best of all, this property is situated in a rural location, surrounded by wineries and yet it is not far from the beautiful city of Adelaide. We were so sad when checkout arrived. If we ever come back to the area, we would stay again.

We loved the location in lovely Glenelg. The tram to Adelaide was just around the corner, ideal! Jane was also super quick to respond to our questions.

This cottage is absolutely stunning! The photos don't do it justice, the energy and surrounding nature made the stay even more peaceful. Bonus is also the local foodland that is just a short walk accross the road! Finally & Terry were wonderful responsive hosts who seemed lovely. We loved every single moment of this place and can't wait to come back one day. Thanks again guys!

Jane was an extremely accommodating and proactive host. The house was spotless and it had everything we needed and more. We arrived to a welcome basket on the kitchen bench and food in the fridge!
