Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kuhlen-Wendorf

Pure tranquility in a single house, exactly what we were looking for! With the sauna a real win and very close to nature.

The accommodation has a very nice and quickly heating sauna, which can be used spontaneously and without long planning. In addition, there is a large quiet garden - perfect for reading and resting or for making a campfire. The proximity to Lübeck and Schwerin is great to take a day trip. :) The only drawback is that it gets quite bright in the sleeping area, especially because there is a skylight in the east direction. A way to darken would be desirable here. Otherwise, it should also be mentioned that the surroundings with the lakes are really beautiful and you can also watch (wild)animals there very well. Hosts Scarlett and Robert are also happy to lend you binoculars and give you tips.😊

A true gem in the surrounding area of Berlin. A magnificent garden and a very cozy apartment that offers everything you need. Unfortunately, we did not meet the host in person, but the apartment and things prepared for us alone testified to hospitality and convenience. You can highly recommend a stay here to every family. We'll be happy to come back.

We had only checked in for one night to celebrate a birthday. Slightly different than expected from the photo of the house, the house is located in the village and on the left and right are more houses. Behind the house is the old farm, with chickens , rabbit goats and a pretty aviary. In the summer you can also stay in the garden and eat outside at tables with benches. For an outdoor coffee, the weather was just as good. We were welcomed so warmly that we immediately felt at home. Petra is a very nice hostess. Arrival and departure were handled very accommodating, even the day before us was blocked to allow an earlier arrival. There was even a delicious birthday cake from Petra. There were also tips for things to do. The Heiligengrabe monastery is very worthwhile. Wittstock is also worth a visit. However, we could not explore much more in the short time. It was a very nice short stay.

Our weekend in the Old Elbschifferhaus was pure relaxation. We felt at home from the first moment. The house is stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you need. Mechthild and Rainer have prepared everything wonderfully for us as a family and the garden directly on the Elbe dike is a dream for young and old. We will be happy to come back! <3

We spent 4 wonderful days in Tom's house. It is exactly as described in the pictures and a really great house away from the hustle and bustle. Great view of the garden and the whirlpool is a real highlight. We felt super comfortable. Absolute recommendation!

Welcoming host. Cozy place, well designed, feels like at home. It has heaters to stay worm in cold weather. A lot of beds, and they are comfortable. A lot of cookware for cooking. I definitely recommend Anuschka's place!

It was a great family stay for the four of us. The garden was fantastically beautiful. For the children there were cats, quails, chickens and sheep to watch. The host family was also very nice. Inis, the hostess, even gave us a glimpse into her scriptorium. We felt very comfortable here. We would have liked to sit outside longer in the evening, but the mosquitoes were all over us. By car we came to our planned daily destinations. There are many beautiful swimming lakes in the area. In Baumgarten itself, there is an ice cream parlor that offers delicious handmade ice cream on Saturdays and Sundays. But if you ask the young family nicely, you can also get a pack of ice cream on the other days.

We were looking for a short break from city life and that is exactly what we got: picturesque nature in the area, wide fields, a beautiful old estate on which the apartment is in the back, absolute silence at night, relaxing peace and quiet during the day. Henrike is a great and very nice host and also the rest of her family is very nice and helpful. We and our dog felt very much at home. We will be happy to come back!

Gretel and Alexander are unique hosts with a big heart for small and large guests! The house is cozily furnished, the kitchen is very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the great garden and the children had a lot of fun feeding the chickens, on the porch swing and in the paddling pool. We were lovingly supplied with eggs, jam and vegetables and received tips from both about the area. We are already looking forward to the next time we can be guests again!

The checkin was very practical, the apartment was clean, comfy and beautifully decorated. Throughout our stay, Robert was super friendly and responsive, and ensured that everything went smoothly. Overall our stay at Robert's place was a blast and we would totally recommend!

We had a very nice extended weekend in Anja's apartment. In the accommodation we immediately felt comfortable, everything was there, what we needed and Anja was very helpful and nice in the communication. Clear recommendation!

We enjoyed the week at Marzena's very much. The accommodation is very quietly located within walking distance of the lake, where you can also use the rowboat, e.g. for fishing. We were also allowed to use the garden and bicycles, which we really liked. Beautiful bike tours and hikes can be started from the property. Marzena always provided us with good tips on excursions and restaurants and was always approachable. If we find ourselves in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We had a great week at Stefan's. The apartment was cozy, very clean and perfect for two people, with everything you need. We especially liked the fireplace😍, the proximity to the beach and the absolute tranquility – we slept wonderfully thanks to the lack of traffic. Stefan is a great host, whom we are happy to recommend. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We were ready for a break from our travels so Bernd’s house was just perfect. It’s in a quiet setting and a comfortable place to relax. The house is spacious with outdoor seating and BBQ, overlooking the garden. It has everything you would need and the hosts were very generous, leaving some gifts for us to try. Bernd’s was easily contactable and responsive in dealing with a problem that arose on our first night in the property. I would highly recommend for a quiet relaxing break.

Our stay was wonderful, the house is big enough to retreat but at the same time has enough space in the kitchen and living room to be together in a larger group. Very tastefully decorated, walking distance to the beach.

We had a wonderful wellness weekend with the girls in this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful outdoor area, which together with the hot tub created a really relaxed atmosphere. The sauna was also a real highlight. The bedrooms are super nice and cozy, and the whole house is modern and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home. The short way to the beach is perfect for walks. The only small drawback: Shopping is a little further away. But for that, the great house always compensates! Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

We (a group of 12 girls) had a great time at the Neu Gaarz estate! The house is spacious, very clean and simply charming. The surroundings are picturesque and pure nature. Dinner and breakfast were very tasty and all our wishes were implemented and fulfilled. Our hosts were incredibly helpful, everything went smoothly. For the bride, it was an unforgettable experience. I'm sure we'll be back.

A very quiet yet centrally located holiday home. We had a very nice stay. The house is very clean and well appointed. Great value.

“It really is a castle!” was the response of the travel companions. And that's for sure! Beautiful location, clean, lovely sturdy beds and very spacious (bath) rooms. Plenty of space to sit, play games or get a breath of fresh air outside. The kitchen is equipped with a wide range of crockery so that not every person can use a piece. What I personally liked is that each room has the option to open 1 or more windows. This keeps it wonderfully fresh on slightly warmer days. In the villages nearby, there is a supermarket and a number of restaurants. Enough offer to pick up your belongings on the spot. Check-in can be done digitally at your own time. Wonderful.

We had a wonderful family weekend at the villa. The villa is well equipped and everything very well maintained including the beautifully landscaped garden. Everything was really thought of to make our stay as beautiful as possible. We got a valuable tip for an excellent restaurant just a few meters away. The hosts are very courteous and the communication was straightforward and prompt. Thank you very much - we'd love to come back.
