Located within an oil palm plantation, this place offers exceptional privacy and tranquility. It’s incredibly peaceful. The interior decoration is unique, featuring classic and vintage items throughout the house. Access to Secret Villa a bit of ride from main road, best to arrive during day light. Highly recommended for nature lovers, couples, or anyone who appreciates serenity and charm in a private setting. A true retreat worth experiencing! Owner also very friendly, prepared welcome drink and delicious mee goreng / pisang Sabah for breakfast.

Here you can really relax if you are looking for peace and quiet, everything you need is available.

After a few weeks of backpacking, Kudat Riviera was heaven on earth for us. It really is a magical place. The housekeeping staff was very kind, the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the privacy and all the details of great care (the fresh towels, the daily cleaned pool, the garden always perfect, the lovely smell in every room,...). Definitely a place where we would come back to!

Our stay at Poseidon House was an absolute gift! The home is not only beautifully designed, with attention to every detail, but also perfectly located, offering private access to a secluded beach that feels like your own little paradise. The property is impeccably maintained, making it a true haven for relaxation. What made our experience even more special were the hosts, Fran and Ray. They are a truly lovely couple—warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. Their local tips and genuine hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This was one of the most memorable stays we’ve had in Kudat, and we would recommend Poseidon House to anyone looking for a serene, unforgettable getaway. Warning - the ocean views will be hard to leave!!

Fran and her team were amazing; professional, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask! They checked in on us often and brought snacks every day. The villa is beautiful and very private, with quite thick foliage down the sides of the garden. The pool is lovely and the room we stayed in was beautiful. The location is great and just a short drive from local restaurants. The seafood BBQ (MYR160 pp) was more than worth the money… we ate from it for the next 2 lunches as well! There was an issue with our generator so we were upgraded free of charge to a bigger villa and cooked a meal as way of "apology". Totally unnecessary but very gratefully accepted! A couple of notes: some of the sheets/towels/curtains show signs of damp. It is what it is, they are still clean, but everything gets that way in this climate. You need a car here, nothing within walking distance! For runners: if you are hoping to run on the street here, it's safe but be wary of the dogs! Thank you Fran and team ❤
