Stunning Gunung Nungkok view with Gunung Kinabalu just right behind. Kids enjoy the pool but we didn't get to play in the river due to the water too stream cause of the rain. The host provided us karaoke set for entertainment, we spent our night singing. The kitchen is complete with fridge, plates, cups and even stove. So you can bring your own ingredients to cook. Bathroom and toilet is okay, but there's only 1 bathroom equipped with water heater, the water can be very cold at night and in the morning.

The place is very cosy and peaceful. All the amenities are available. The kitchen is fully equipped even with salt, pepper, sugar, oil and soy sauce. There are even biscuit to welcome us. The garden is beautiful. Nearby within 15min, there are restaurants and supermarket. We should have stayed another day.

I would say it is like a cabin in a forest experience. The toilet is very well taken care of with bathtub provided to calm myself in a pool of warm water. It was a calming experience away from the bustling city. Love the atmosphere, very refreshing.

The homestay was beautifully decorated and felt very homey. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linens were fresh. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped. We especially loved the host's quick response to our requests. We particularly appreciated the comfortable beds, and the easy access to local attractions. Highly recommend but overall, it was a wonderful stay ⭐️

Stayed here for the annual highland trail marathon. Great location for this event due to the close proximity to the start line. The facilities are basic as described but all in good condition and clean. The room and beddings were clean and comfortable. The comforters were spotless, looked and smelled, clean. Kitchen facilities were available on sharing basis, in good condition and clean. The entire property is nestled inside a village but somehow felt private, and had a studio ghibli-ish vibe to it. The only thing that concerned me was the dip leading to the common parking area. It did not bother me much since i use a pickup truck but it could be difficult for a small car to traverse without scraping the bottom. Value for money? - for sure. Will i return? - Definitely. Maybe this time will get a bigger place for me and my friends and do some bbq too. The host was very responsive and helpful, so was the caretaker. Appreciated that a lot.
