Quiet place, good equipment. Everything was as described and the price was also affordable.

Thank you for a lovely break. The house was in a quiet location. Lovely walks around the area. Check in and out was straight forward. The house itself was great. Clean and tidy with everything that we needed. We loved the sauna. All in all, a really great find. We will be back!!

I stayed at Matthew's house, and it was great. The house was cozy, and the fireplace was excellent. I absolutely loved spending my evenings by the fire while the wood was burning. You can definitely tell that this house was built for a family to live in and not just for renting. The house is fully equipped with all the necessary items to make your stay comfortable. I can confidently say it’s a hidden gem.

Check-in was smooth and easy. The apartment found everything we needed and was clean and in very good condition. The instructions were clear and there was no confusion. All in all, a very clean and comfortable stay. there were 6 adults and we fit well.

Great house, large and perfect for two families together. Coffee and sweets were waiting for us upon arrival, that was great after a long drive.

Nice place in a great location

The apartment was cozy and cozy. It was clean and everything was there. All beds were excellent, including a mattress to put on the floor. Communication was smooth and fast. The parking lot and apartment were easy to find with the instructions soon. We also got great tips on places to eat and see.

This place was absolutely adorable! A cozy and cozy apartment inside 200-year-old logs. The "energies" were inviting and warm. We had a good night's sleep in a good bed. In the morning, I was able to refresh myself by taking a dip from my own beach directly into the Kymen River. A private shower and toilet were a big plus. A stone's throw from the wellness center where I was 4 days at a yoga retreat. It was nice to walk to the place with the birds singing. Tiitus was a friendly and considerate host. "Peaceful Nature Escape" is the perfect name for this property. Thank you 🩷 I can warmly recommend to everyone who comes to stop at the stunning Swedish holiday in Ruukki's milieu. See you again next year as the retreat continues!

fantastic home and fantastic hosts! perfect for a summer holiday

Lovely place in a stunning historic and rustic setting, yet close to services. The river's beach was mesmerizing and we had very warm weather, so swimming and paddling in the river were a favorite thing to do there. There was a big yard where it was good to play badminton and football with the kids, as well as a well-stocked kitchen, a great setting for cooking and enjoying! In the heat, the ice maker was an amazing bonus! Everything went very well!

Lovely stay for a group of friends! Lots of space and things to do for a memorable night.

Maija and her husband Juka are the owners of the summer cottage that lies on their premises, about 20 meters next to their house in a wonderful parclike garden with huge old trees. You are able to use the pier, a SUP, a rowing boat, the wood sauna and the tennis court. The cottage is a really traditional finnish summer cottage with one huge bedroom and toilet on the upper floor, the shower is in the saunahouse at the lake. We really liked the cottage, although it could do with some clearing up (especially the kitchen). The bedroom has blinds to darken up the room, which is great. We found the price too high as you share the premises, which you cannot tell from the pictures. Maija and Juka although are wonderful open people and took us with their boat to a fantastic trip to the archipelago, the highlight of our stay in Kotka. We appreciated them beeing very nice hosts and wish them all the best.

Lovely fall breaks outdoors. Lovely peaceful place and next to the roaring touch increased the nature person's experience even more assured by 💎 Lassi's friendly touch and we'll definitely go again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a lovely Finnish experience and we would definitely look to come back again. The facilities are great. Everything for a tranquil few days was there. We were sad to leave. Thank you .
