1-min Station | River-View House on Nakasendo

AarniRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If you're looking to get away from basically everything, this is the place. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, next to a rushing river, it's nothing like the big cities and millions of people rushing this way and that you might associate with Japan. That said, that also means there isn't a lot to _do_ in Nagiso or Tsumago, other than hike and see some local sights, and local transit can be a little patchy. The place itself is beautiful and comfortable, literally right next to the JR station, with a full-featured kitchen (a local supermarket is right down the street), comfy beds, big projector screen for a night of chilling out (e. g. after hiking in the rain, as we did)! There's also a nice recently reopened café next door, and some restaurants (though don't expect very long opening hours) too. Small note - if you're _very_ sensitive to traffic/industrial noise, be aware there's a somewhat major highway next to the house. Traffic does die down in the night though.

Free parking on premises with elevator, 7 minutes to Nagoya station

KyokoRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Hayashi's house was very spacious and beautiful, and the family of six had a comfortable stay. Hayashi's response was always quick and polite. There was an elevator, so my mother, who had a bad knee, was happy. There were three toilets, and there was no traffic in the morning. It was close to the high-speed entrance and easy to get around by car.It was about 30 minutes to Ghibli Park and 15 minutes to Nagoya Castle. We will definitely stay again when we come to Nagoya.

Everything is in place and clearly displayed. They prepared what I wanted, such as a sukiyaki pan and a hot plate. There was water in PET bottles, sweets and drink sticks, and even seasonings. Everywhere was very beautiful. We had a safe stay. Thank you very much.

Nagoya Station 3 minutes · Rental detached house · Japanese style · 7 beds · Attachment photo · Parking lot 3 · Convenience store 1 [General's hidden house]

I was really lucky to meet such a good host when I used the software to book a room for the first time. The environment is clean and tidy, the space is comfortable and bright, and there is a parking space. It is very suitable for friends who are self-driving. There are convenience stores and restaurants within a 3-minute walk. The environment is usually quiet, and the overall feeling is very good!Next time I go to Nagoya, I'll want to stay in a good place!

I stayed for 3 days with a 4-month-old baby. The owner Mari was really kind and told us about the nearby tourist spots, prepared a baby futon in the living room, and was very polite and friendly in her replies, so we were able to communicate without any worries from the beginning to the end! The building is an old building as described, but the inside is very beautiful, and the facilities and amenities are complete, and I was able to spend without any inconvenience. There was an electric kettle, so it was very easy to make baby milk, and I was grateful. The only thing that bothered me was that it was an old building, so the stairs were steep and there were a lot of bugs around the inn. There were a lot of mosquitoes when I stayed. However, since both were listed from the beginning, there was no problem because when we sprayed insect repellent spray in the parking lot and in front of the entrance, we hardly saw any mosquitoes. All this information is also listed, so when I actually went, it was not bad at all, but rather I was able to spend a more beautiful and comfortable time than I had imagined. By the way, there were no bugs in the house, and it was really very clean. The bed was also fluffy, and there were a lot of pillows, so it felt really good. I was able to stay with my baby without any problems, so I think that if you are an adult and your child is a little older, you can really stay without any inconvenience. The price was also very reasonable, and above all, the host Mari had a very good personality, making it a memorable trip. I recommend them!

Near Nagoya Airport / Suitable for Large Groups

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Everything in the place feels brand new - the beds, the tables, the silverware, all of it - and everything was sparkling clean. We had a 10 month old with us, and other than a couple table lamps she wanted to grab, there wasn't any clutter or items at kid height that were dangerous. With 6 beds between two bed rooms, there was a ton of space for all of us to sleep. Would love to stay there again, the next time we visit Nagoya.
