Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kona

Stuart's place is truly home away from home. Every little detail so well thought out, you won't find yourself stepping out to stock up on essentials, be it in the kitchen or bathroom. Be it towels, beach chairs/mats or toys, everything is sanitized and available to borrow. Stuart was very accommodating of my request for early check in, which is a blessing when traveling with a toddler. He even had a high chair ready for us. We enjoyed our evenings in the lanai, and I can't wait to be back soon. Thank you, Stuart.

Minh is truly a super host, attentive to detail and to her guests’ needs. She will make you feel at home from the moment you step into her beautifully decorated and fully equipped home. Communication is important to feel relaxed while on vacations. Minh was permanently in touch with us, making sure we were feeling comfortable. When we had problems with the water heater and the ice maker, she fixed them in no time. She even contacted a friend of hers to provide us with ice for our cooler. This friend also gave us fresh eggs from her hens. It was so nice to experience the hospitality of the people in the Big Island! The view of the sunset from the balcony is a piece of art. Her immaculate garden is a treasure. The beautiful color of bamboo in her furniture complements the colors of the sun and brings out the warmth of the house. Minh’s quaint home and hospitality brought peace, joy, and rest to our lives! We came back home renewed. Mahalo, from the bottom of our hearts!

Wir hatten einen exzellenten Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Besonders hervorragend war das sehr gemütliche Bett. Wir konnten in der Küche alles prima kochen und man konnte herrlich auf der Terrasse essen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Lage ist wunderschön mitten im Grünen mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Dusche war auch ausgezeichnet. Wir haben den Früchtekorb, Kaffee, Schokolade und Makademianüsse, die es kostenlos dazu gab, sehr genossen!

Great stay. The views were gorgeous, deck patio was huge. You could hear the wildlife at nighttime. Jason was super communicative. All around 5 stars!

Beautiful home exactly what we were looking for. Check-in was easy, and we always felt safe in the neighborhood. There was plenty of space for the four of us. The location is just a few minutes from the airport, making it very convenient for accessing the shopping center. The host regularly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely book again when staying in Kona!

Beautiful and peaceful location. Watch gorgeous sunsets with panaromic voews pf the ocean right from the deck! Great snorkeling close by if you're comfortable getting in from rocks. Private pool to enjoy when you've had enough salt water for the day.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

Great place to stay. Great location. No traffic noise. Home is newly remodeled and very clean. A rooster lives next door which we loved and were used to but beware if you like to sleep late. Would definitely start again.

I enjoyed the stay at Mike's place. It was my first time visiting the beautiful big island and his instructions on how to navigate to his place and get inside was very easy. Just watch out for directions when putting it into Uber or Lyft, the drivers may get confused, so it is best to stand outside of the property and wait for your ride. When we did have a request for something, they handled it promptly. Super friendly people when we encountered them on the property momentarily. Was very willing to help assistance in any way needed. The private entrance to the backside of the property has a nice pool. We did not utilize the pool as we were gone from the facility quite often during the day. There are accommodating things on the property, such as beach towels and surfboards for your use. There is also a laundry facility on site in case you need it. Space has a mini fridge, sink and cabinet storage in case you bring food/snacks. Keyless combo entry. Loved the property!

Pacific 19 is a great location, with clean rooms and a nice pool. They charge a $25 resort fee upon checkin in addition to what you pay on Airbnb. We would stay here again.

This 1 bedroom apartment has everything I needed for a long term stay: an equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, WiFi, cable/Roku TV, comfortable furnishings, a lanai with a view, and designated parking. The pool at the complex was excellent for daily swims. The ocean-front location of the complex provided beautiful sunset views.

Don't hesitate to book this place! it has everything we needed for 5 adults! beach gear was especially appreciated! Walking distance to many restaurants and even the luau at Royal Kona Resort..

My family of six enjoyed our vacation at this lovely home. We walked into the home with a welcome basket with fruit and local chips. The house was impeccably clean and cozy, it felt like home to all of us. The home is comfortable, well-equipped, and in a good location. AC in every room! Communication is superb with the acknowledgement of any quick responses by the host and the owners. The property listing is represented accurately. Our family cooked every meal during our stay. The location is a very quick drive to Kona Airport and Downtown Kona. Great for kids also. My son loved the private pool. In the garage they have pool and beach toys, also life jackets and goggles. The lanai was gorgeous with views of the Pacific ocean which I saw every morning upon waking up. We would eat at the tables on the lanai and just enjoyed each others company. This was truly the best vacation I have had in a long time. Everyone loved there first trip to Kona, Hawaii. Highly recommend this home 100%

Jason’s condo is one of the nicest, most comfortable/convenient places that we’ve ever stayed. Centrally located with all of the amenities of home. We’re already talking about returning there sometime in the future. Jason is a 10+ communicator and just an all around great person. The condo was worth every penny that we paid for it!

This house was spacious and full of amenities. we enjoyed the stocked. kitchen hasn't made it easy to prepare a few meals at home. It was also nice that the bathroom was well stocked with quality soaps, so we didn't need to pack a bunch of liquids in our bags.

Mike and Melissa (and Sheryl!) are wonderful hosts, and their place is spacious and comfortable—me and my dog, Margot, felt instantly at home. They were super friendly with great recommendations, and the apartment is private and quiet, yet super convenient to town and all of Kona’s lovely beaches. Would recommend to anybody!

just spent a wonderful getaway in this beautiful and cozy Airbnb in the heart of the lovely town of Holualoa, Hawaii. The home was perfectly decorated with a lovely blend of Hawaiian charm and comfortable elegance, making us feel right at home. The real highlight for us was having our furry family member "MORTY" join us on the adventure! Although there weren't any special treats or goodies for Morty, the home itself was very pet-friendly and welcoming. What really stood out to us, though, was the exceptional service from our host. When our plans changed due to unexpected home repairs after a pipe flooded, our host went above and beyond to help us extend our stay. Their flexibility and kindness were truly appreciated, and we felt grateful to have such an understanding and supportive host. The location in Holualoa was ideal - quiet, picturesque, and though far from the hustle and bustel of Kailua Kona but still close. There is a beautiful coffee and breakfast spot walking distance.

What a Great place! Close to everything, but very peaceful. Great for day trips! The bed was very comfortable. Which is good after a day of exploring. Very friendly host! Made sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful property.

I was beyond impressed with her property. She has a stack full of goodies that you need for vacation and cooking. It has the perfect location for exploring both Kona and Hilo in addition to all those good beaches. Again, can’t say enough good things about this property and the management.

Was better than booking with the hotel directly. You can see manta rays feeding at night right from the hotel. Waking distance to manta ray dive operators.

If you enjoy magnificent sunsets, starry skies, and the lilting sounds of croaky frogs, this is the place to rent! Great location between Kona and Hilo. Simple yet clean and welcoming accommodations. Relaxing atmosphere, warm and cozy bed, and refreshing hot outdoor shower! Hosts are very helpful with local recommendations for places to visit based on your interests as well as suggestions for beaches, museums, and local attractions. You won't regret renting here!

Amazing place that is exactly as pictured! We arrived at night and it was a little hard to find. There aren’t lights around so be aware of that if you are arriving at night. Also, it’s on a slant and you can only enter from the back door so you walk over mud and grass to get to the door. It can be a bit tricky and messy. If you aren’t ok with a few bugs (you are surrounded by beautiful nature), this place might not be for you. The place was clean and the view to wake up to was absolutely gorgeous! So peaceful. A unique place to stay! Mahalo!

Karina is a great host. Our check-in was super easy and straightforward. we love the place and the tidy bedrooms and living room. Looking forward to visiting again.

Beth was a terrific hostess! She always responded warmly to us. Her home and lanai are amazing! And the EASY walk to Manini Beach was the huge cherry on top. Thank you Beth for the use of all the beach toys and snorkel gear!!
