This is a proper find... Jelena is so relaxed and communicative ... The house is so lovely and clearly a much loved family home with 2 entrances which is handy for Hvar harbour and over the hill ... There was a storm and Jelena was relaxed about us potentially staying on... The house is perfect for a stay in Hvar.

Oasis of Silence was everything we hoped for to recover from a busy and long tourist holiday. Peaceful, secluded, self contained and at one with nature. On the best side of Vis for exploring beaches and wineries and not far from the towns of Vis and Komiza. Summer dining on the terrace was fantastic watching the sun go down over the sea. Eva and Roman were generous hosts, meeting us at the local village and showing the way, allowing early check in, lending us beach towels and making restaurant recommendations. Communication was excellent before and throughout the stay. For us, we believed we found the perfect place on Vis! Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all yet have a base to explore this beautiful Croatian island!

So happy with our stay here in Hvar. What a find! The location is unbeatable, just down a few steps and you are right there on main harbor. So easy to walk from the ferry. But just far enough back to be very quiet and private. The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We LOVED the balcony and the upper-level kitchen. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Very nice decor, furniture, and appliances - just as in the pictures. The host was so kind and helpful. Coffee shop just outside. Restaurants all around. The location really is incredible - we will 100% stay here if we are back in Hvar.

Nothing compares to the accommodations at this home. The hosts and cleaning staff were incredible and the home has to be one of the best options in Hvar.

The Lemon Tree was perfect for us - great location to settle in and explore the island. Rowan was a great communicator and provided easy instructions as well a lot of information and tips to enjoy Vis and Komiza. Highly recommend !

Great location, the view from the patio was awesome. Spent every evening on the patio. Close enough to walk to everything but removed enough to be relaxing.

The house was fabulous and Mila and her son David were amazing hosts. They introduced us to local people to rent boats, suggested restaurants and excursions for a perfect holiday. We had 2 adults and 4 kids (8, 11, 12, 14) in our family group. We wanted somewhere off grid to relax but with good facilities. The house was perfect and the bay at the bottom of the hill fantastic for a quick swim each morning. The island itself was good for little walks and longer hikes. We rented a boat for the stay which was a good choice, allowing us to fully explore the islands and access all the hidden coves and busier bays. There is no air conditioning; but the regular gentle wind on the island provides a welcome breeze unlike most of the area. Overall, we were treated to an amazing holiday!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Elza was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. She provided us with great recommendations for local activities and restaurants, and kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the property both before check-in and after check-out. Communication was flawless. The house itself was beautiful—actually even better than the photos. The bathrooms and kitchen are brand new and very modern, and the outdoor area is perfect for relaxing or dining. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, about a 10–15 minute walk from the port and nightlife area. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations, both thanks to Elza’s exceptional hospitality and the quality of the house. Highly recommended.

Wish I had more time on Vis and on this beautiful apartment. Everything is immaculately designed and decorated. The bed was so comfortable and linens so soft. So well kept and nicer than the hotel we stayed at on the next leg of our trip. Vis a little slice of heaven and if I return one day I would definitely stay at Idas again.

Biserka and her family were incredibly kind and hospitable to my friends and me and helped make our experience in Hvar magical :)). Not to mention her adorable puppy!!!! Would most definitely stay with her again if I make it back out to Hvar —highly recommend! And the balcony along with the insane view was awesome.

Very thankful being three nights in Milna at Ilonas house - a very nice, clean and quite environment with a beautiful view on the sea. The house is perfect for everyone who is searching an alternative to Hvar City but being close enough for a visit. Milna itself is a romantic town with a lot of traditional restaurants and nice beaches. The conversation with Ilona was flawless! Fast reply on messages, great support and always very helpful to make our days worth remembering without any obstacles. We can highly recommend Ilona as person and as accommodation for a beatiful and unique vacation.

We had a fantastic stay in Hvar, and Tonči was an exceptional host. His hospitality, thoughtful recommendations, and attentiveness truly made our trip special. Thanks to his suggestions, we enjoyed one of the most memorable meals of our travels at Black Pepper — the food was incredibly creative and complex. We also followed his tip to catch a local live music performance, and it was a highlight of our visit. The quintet’s harmonies were beautiful, their musicianship was top-notch, and the unamplified sound created an intimate, unforgettable experience. Great location for car travellers has free parking at the dwelling, very easy to walk to the centre of Hvar. 🥰 The hosts were very nice, gave the indications of beaches, restaurants and supermarkets, received us with typical local sweets. 5⭐️, I advise this dwelling.

Vedrana's place is exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, quiet and walking distance to town and the beach. We loved waking up to a stunning view of the Adriatic straight from the bedroom window. Vedrana was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions. We did not want to leave. Would 100% stay again

Perina was a kind and helpful host, the house matches the description and has everything you need for a great stay. The terrace is the centerpiece and is even more beautiful in person. The listing is in a great location, close to downtown and shopping. Absolutely recommended!

Sanja has our highest recommendation. This was not just a stay, but a whole experience we will never forget. She made our week totally unique & unforgettable. We are so grateful! If you are looking for an immersive, local experience, you can't get better than this. Sanja picked us up at the ferry and was available to drive us anywhere (we had no car). The house is partially renovated - kitchen is gorgeous, and the bedrooms / baths are an older style. Plenty of room for 4 of us. Kids loved the pool. Located on a hill, it's a 4 min walk down to the most beautiful, uncrowded peaceful rock beach, with crystal clear blue water. It's a 10-15 min walk down to a bigger beach with a restaurant. Small market is ~20-min walk. However, the best part is Sanja and her husband. She cooked us two amazing, local meals, and even taught a cooking class for my kids! Srdjan is a fisherman and took us out on his boat to see the incredible coastline, incl Stiniva. Magical. 100 stars!

This was the most beautiful home and we had the most perfect stay! Very close to town but also private with absolutely gorgeous surroundings. Can’t recommend enough

Great house for a group. Our group of six were very happy with it: Everything was clean, we had spacious rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Cherry on top was the beautiful garden with BBQ facilities. Last but not least, Ivan is a great host, best we’ve ever had in our travels!

The house was perfect for our 4-day stay. Spiro and Angelika were wonderful, friendly and responsive hosts. We did explore the rest of the island but the nearby small beach, with safe swimming and great bar/restaurant, was all we really needed! We cannot recommend Vis and this house enough!

One of the best places to stay in Vis

Villa Vito is in a beautiful setting with views over a secluded bay, and surrounded by olive groves. The outside space is thoughtfully designed to create a really peaceful and lovely area. We were there in the penultimate week of May and were very unlucky with the weather. Rain, high winds and chilly nights, although we did have some intermittent sunshine. We used the pool and swam in the sea. Overall we felt that the villa will work really well in better weather, when the outside space will really come into its own and evenings can be spent around the table by the pool, and making use of the outside sofa area. Inside, the downstairs space is rather limited, especially when confined by the weather as it is just an open plan kitchen with a sofa area at one end. It was fine for two but we felt it might be a bit 'tight' for a group of six. Ambroz was a very responsive and helpful host, especially when we had trouble with the door and the hot water, quickly sorting things out for us.

Our group rented Ante's place for a few days, it was a great quiet place to relax and we all loved the pool. Would definitely come back
