A wonderful place where we were able to explore and see the northern lights from, the cabin was great and had everything we needed!

What an amazing place to stay 👏🏼 directly at the lake. Enjoy sauna, ice bath and very warm inside the house even at -35 degrees outside. Very responsive and friendly host to answer questions 😊

Comfortable three nights on a ski vacation. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We enjoyed and relaxed. I love it when the ski left the backyard. It was good to go to Oulanka National Park and winter activities. Peace of mind. The grill house in the yard was nice, even though we didn't have time to test it yet. We'd love to come back again. Lotta was always quick to respond.

We spent four days at the property in January 2025. The cabin was very lonely located on a frozen lake very idyllic and quiet. You could rest completely, without any traffic noise. It was fantastically beautiful, there was a lot of snow on site in January. Especially the sauna was very nice, the extra fees for the HotTub were a bit too high in my opinion, as the cabin was priced higher. It was also not that easy to put it into operation with wood. The main cabin was very well furnished, the kitchen super equipped. With a passr shopping, you could eat yourself very well. However, if you want restaurants or supermarkets nearby, you should book somewhere else, as you had to drive 10-15 minutes here by car. It was so perfect for us. The beds very comfortable, ideal for a family with 4 children. The TV is a little too small for the size of the room.

Great place in a great location. Outdoor, snowmobile trails, and snail trails nearby. The property really matched the description. Tommi was a great host and responded quickly to messages. Can be recommended to others!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, modern, and had an absolutely amazing view. Kitchen was also well equipped. The host was very responsive and communicated quickly whenever we had questions. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it!

We had an amazing stay! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, 5 minutes from the Ruka Ski Station, making it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

This stay was MAGIC! We cannot thank Lotta and her team enough! It is incredibly romantic. It offers everything you could wish for. All the kitchen supplies, dishwasher, washing machine, sauna, snowshoes, a hut for cooking over a fire. Your own access to the lake. It feels like you and nature. We were also able to observe one of the most powerful boreal auras ever seen (by us) two nights in a row. The sauna and the dip in the snow renewed our energy. Lotta was really nice and answered all our questions quickly, making us feel cared for. We leave our hearts and souls here and wish you, too, the chance to get in touch with this magical land.

The listing matched the description and everything was very effortless from start to finish. The sauna was gentle, almost perfect, and a lovely addition to the lake. The low bottom of the car needed some caution at the beginning of the road, but it was a good way to get there. We were happy and would definitely stay again ☺️

We had a great time again! The area was very peaceful, the premises were just right for a family of 5 and the beach was magnificent. We fished the whole holiday with our own worm hooks and worms and the catch was even brought to the dinner table. We will definitely come again!

Great place for those looking for some privacy! It's easy to take day trips to the beautiful natural sites in the surroundings and relaxing steam from the sauna in the evenings ❤️ Sanna was a great and considerate host. Communication and response was quick :)

We were a group of four staying for a week, and it was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful—peacefully surrounded by woods, and the classic wooden Lappi mökki was incredibly cozy and charming. It really gave that authentic, relaxing cabin-in-the-forest vibe we were hoping for. If we had to point out anything, it would be that the bunk beds weren’t the most comfortable for our friend who’s 2 meters tall—but for most people, they’d be just fine. All in all, a lovely spot that we’d happily return to!

My family and I spent 5 nights at Krister's cottage and had a great time. The cottage is in a quiet location, cozy and well-equipped. The instructions were clear and Krister soon responded to inquiries. We'll definitely be back.

Riikka is extremely responsive, she responded very quickly to any questions we had. The chalet is perfect for a family rental, very well designed and very welcoming. We were a family of 6 and everyone found the perfect accommodation!

We were completely satisfied. Our stay was in winter, so it was very quiet. There was enough wood for the fire place - the sauna was great.

What a place to stay! If you are planning to visit Riisitunturi like us, do not even hesitate one second. The fireplace outside was perfect for our outdoor lunches, the sauna, with a hot water boiler, and the hut was simply so cozy and accommodating. Very much recommend it!!! Thank you Lea also for being so available on the phone when we needed you!

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic and completely lived up to the consistently great reviews it has received. The space was impeccably clean, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, and beautifully modern and tastefully furnished. Host Laura provided clear and precise instructions both before our arrival and once we were there, making everything seamless. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay.

The stay was stylish and tidy. The elevator tickets included in the stay were a plus. Walking distance from the village of Ruka.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Oskari's lodge. We have followed Google maps and took us a wrong away trying to the lodge so be mindful if you use Google maps as the road to the house is not listed but you can see it on satellite view. Now we have visited early March and the surroundings were incredible, lots of snow all around. The house was nice warm inside and a lovely place to be. highly recommend as you can disconnect from the outside world. Looking forward to our next trip back now.

The cabin looked better than in the photos! A wonderfully peaceful place with really nice views of the lake. The sauna has really good steam, the house was able to grill sausages, and the cottage was very sleepy. Check-in was easy, and Kari responded quickly to messages with any questions! There was quite a bit of snow during the trip, but fortunately the tractor came and plowed the road. A cottage worth the price!
