An excellent abode for privacy and a quiet moment with nature. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, the host and associated caretakers were also forthcoming and welcoming. The silver lining being the delicious meals served as well as the easy connectivity to any location. Our family had the most wonderful experience at this home stay. The beautiful location amidst tea plantations was just breathtaking. The cherry on the cake was the Nilgiris toy train which we could see from the window every time it chugged and passed by. My 4 year old daughter had the most wonderful time in this house. The food was really very very tasty. The property was clean and hygienic only the daily cleanliness could have been a little better. But overall it was good value for money and definitely worth staying here.

Excellent place amidst the mountains and tea estates. Property is lovely with beautiful wooden and glass interiors in bedrooms, living room, lawn. Perfect for a digital detox with no network, no wifi. Extremely calm and quiet place with no noise of vehicles, away from city hassle. All you hear 24 hrs is just birds chirping. The caretaker Rajen stood out with exceptional services and help. he cooked delicious home-cooked meals 4 times a day. Overall a place worth spending time at, would be willing to come back longer again.

The villa is perfectly done, the view from the villa is mesmerising, the place is new and the location is perfect, the care takers were very helpful and the best part the commutation was flawless with ram, he check upon us and made sure we had a good time at his place.

The host was very friendly and responsive. We did a jeep ride to a nice spot and the food was also very nice. The staff were courteous and organised whatever we wanted, despite the weather. Thank you for a wonderful day.

We were a little late in checking in. Mr Suresh was waiting for us. He took us to the cottage, which had a positive vibe. The cottage has English architecture with fireplace, wooden floors, and observatory. Traditional Tamil breakfast is complimentary and dinner can be ordered. Vinnila is an excellent cook. We immensely enjoyed her cooking. Everyone is well behaved and really helpful. Highly recommend the place. Will definitely visit again.

Seriously, I had the best two nights at this Airbnb in India. I was in the ground floor one-bedroom flat. It was well-maintained and spacious. And the bed, seriously comfy. But honestly, the people there were the real stars. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to help. And the manager, he was amazing. He kept checking in to see if I needed anything and gave me the best tips on where to go. I found some awesome spots thanks to him. Getting around was easy with taxis and rickshaws, and the views nearby, wow, so beautiful. I wish I had more time to explore. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone visiting. I'm already planning a week-long trip back so I can see more. Definitely a winner.

Peaceful, calm and serene environment. Very helpful and friendly caretaker and family. Not a big menu, but the complimentary breakfast and everything we had from the menu was tasty and homely. 6-7 km to the center of Ooty, so ideal for people with own transport.

One of the best homestays or even hotels we've stayed at, in regards to how well thought out and appointed the apartment is, if there was a kitchen it would easily be the kind of place you'd love to live in. It was so comfortable we all decided to spend the majority of our time inside, yes it was raining, but it was easily the highlight of our trip to Ooty. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, in that we weren't expecting it, and all of our party who is fairly critical with food really enjoyed it. We left with zero complaints. We felt very safe and peaceful there, the staff were extremely prompt and helpful. My only note was that we didn't really get a full run down of what we could expect when checking in, maybe that is something on our end being unfamiliar with how Indian Homestays operate, in that they function somewhat more than hotels than your typical privately owned home. It's a small complaint which should not be held against the excellent staff. 5 Stars all round!

The place is slightly remote from the main city which makes it perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. The property is well maintained by the caretakers and they are very responsive. All the amenities listed were working fine and the place was clean. We also asked for a bbq and they took a reasonable amount for it and the chef helped us with it. The cost of the place is good but I would like the room to have some lamps and better utensils for the price we are paying. Also, autos and cabs take a lot of money to go to the city side so if you want to travel the city side then stay in the city and then come here for a stay to enjoy the beautiful mountains and tea estate.

It was very pleasant stay , entire flat was clean and upto the mark with very proactive support staff , breakfast was not too varied but was excellent , overall very happy to stay at SAMARA

My wife and I stayed at Eden B&B near Coonoor to celebrate her birthday. We had a pleasant experience right from the time of booking, thanks to Maria's responsiveness & proactiveness. As a host, she was both warm and professional. She shared all necessary details in advance, such as permit requirements & places to eat, experience the environment & celebrate my wife's birthday. While Maria coordinates the experience, it's her parents' thoughtful and heartfelt hospitality that made the experience unforgettable for us. It is not often that guests get to enjoy the hospitality of the hosts directly, sans any caretaker. Jose and Sindhu make you feel at home, like family. Along with a sumptuous breakfast, Sindhu also cooked a sweet to celebrate my wife's birthday! While the guest feels like family, they are thoroughly professional with their services. They provide best-in-class amenities and a neatly designed space, perfect for a retreat. Looking to visit more often!

Magnolia was a great place . Ambience of the place is really awesome, it’s very tastefully done. Especially the cozy dining room, it makes you feel amazing. Library is filled with very interesting collections, if you want to dig deep into the history of Ooty, this library would do justice. Rooms were really neat, clean and spacious. Last but not least the host was awesome. Host makes you feel like you are at home away from a home in Ooty. He is very gentle, friendly, approachable and cares about you having a good time at Ooty. I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a calm and nice stay in Ooty

We had an amazing stay at Zo’s place in Ooty! Right from the start, she was super prompt, warm, and helpful in her responses, which made planning smooth. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade — such a generous gesture! The mansion is spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of aesthetic charm. The kitchen comes with a stunning mountain view, and the lawn is absolutely to die for — perfect for lounging, soaking in the view, or just playing around. There were board games and badminton available, which made our stay even more fun and lively. The local caretakers were incredibly kind and warm despite the language barrier — their hospitality truly stood out and made us feel at home. This was one of the most peaceful and memorable stays we’ve had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, serene, and welcoming place to unwind in Ooty!
