Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Klampenborg

We spent 3 nights in Taarbeck and got to know our way around pretty well! We didn't have a car, but were able to catch a bus at the end of the driveway and be at the Klampenborg train station in about 5 minutes. If you miss the bus (which we did once) you can just walk to the train station-- it's about 15-20 minutes but it's on a private path behind all the houses so is a nice walk. On weekends the bus runs hourly (or did when we were there) so plan accordingly, or plan to just walk to the train. Be sure to walk up to the Hermitage and then to the Bakken amusement park -- it's a wonderful walk, with horse-drawn carriages passing along the way, and a sweeping view of the sea from the Hermitage. The house itself is elegant and easy to live in, beautifully decorated and modern. There's a little restaurant nearby, and a self-service grocery but you need a pass to get in. (The locals would let us in if it was locked.) Highly recommended!

Gitte is such a friendly and helpful host. She showed us everything and gave us a lot of recommendations on where we could go and what we could do. The apartment is beautiful qnd rustic. One hint if you plan to work from there, the WiFi connection in the bedroom with the desk isn't very reliable. But we were able to work in the living room without any issues. The environment is full if nature. it's very calm and suitable for walks, hikes or runs.

Beautiful, clean and cosy house in peaceful surroundings. Easy access to the station with direct and frequent trains to the centre of Copenhagen. Local, well-stocked supermarket less than a 10 minute walk. Highly recommend staying in this lovely home.

Jette is a great host and very helpful with good communication at every stage. The house is very well kept providing a comfortable stay. Located a short wallking distance form local shops and restaurants providing everything you need. The location is perfect in a quiet colder-sack, with no passing traffic. Also a great location to reach the city and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend, A*

We really enjoyed the house. Maja and Christian were very attentive and made it easy for us to stay at all times. Clear directions, super close transportation and very convenient to downtown Copenhagen. Clean house, comfortable beds, lots of utensils, toys for the little ones… everything ideal! I visited Ditte and Lars for a month and felt very comfortable from the first day. The apartment is very cozy and has everything you need in everyday life. Ditte and Lars are very considerate and helpful. I always enjoyed chatting with them when we saw each other and they gave me good tips for Copenhagen. The house is about 10 minutes' walk from the S-Bahn station and the nearest supermarket and is located in a very quiet residential street. With the S-Bahn, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the city center. I would live here again at any time, definitely one of the best airbnbs I've been to :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Jakob’s lovely clean home. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable and linens clean and good quality.

We had a great stay! The apartment was super clean and with cozy decor. It’s a 15 minute walk from the train station, located in a quiet and pleasant area. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved having a separate living room to relax in. Malene was incredibly friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Check-in was smooth and easy. Would definitely recommend! :)

That was one of the best place where I stayed! Apartment was very cosy, stylish and clean. I really like how they supports local furniture designers to place their things in an interior. Communication was very fast and helpful. Neighborhood was quiet, located nearby with metro and grocery store. I also love this nice cute touch with free-using Polaroid. They also give you reusable bottle for water and shopper. Just one thing that I found inconvenient: the shower was without the doors so we wiped the floor every time after taking the shower.

I really enjoyed my stay at the unit. I was able to easily walk to my business meetings within Lyngby but was also super close to the train with a short ride to the beautiful downtown area. The unit was cozy and perfect for my needs for the week. Thanks Kat!

The apartment was great. The beds were very comfortable. Oscar was very responsive and helpful. It’s only about 10 minutes walk from Lyngby station and all the shops. We had a great stay and enjoyed our time there very much!

We have enjoyed staying at Angelica and Andreas' place. We have had a longer stay at the apartment while renovating and have found it very functional and accommodating to our little family of 4. Angelica has been great to reach out and answer any questions.

Great and very clean place with excellent amenities. We liked the quiet location very much. Shopping, snacks and restaurants are a few minutes' walk away. Beach with swimming in about 1000 m; S-Bahn Ordrup max. 5 minutes' walk. Jægersborg Dyrehave Park with its many wild deer is also less than 2 km away. Parking on the side of the road is possible without any problems. Very comfortable and large bed, stable and fast internet; very, very small bathroom with good shower; perfectly equipped kitchen. Somewhat light-sounding - currently (9/2024) due to scaffolding (roof is being expanded) somewhat restless and when it rains at night you can hear the drops quite loudly. Great contact with the landlord. Responded quickly, professionally and kindly to a problem with the entrance door. We would like to stay there again anytime.

Jakob is very personable and welcomed us personally. We immediately felt comfortable in the beautifully furnished apartment. We were allowed to use the garden at any time. By S-Bahn train, you can reach the city center quickly and Hellerup train station is very close. We thank Jakob and Les for their hospitality and wish them all the best.

We were in Copenhagen for a first short trip and found this pretty accommodation a little north. It is super accessible by S-Bahn, a short distance to the train station. It is quiet and is very beautiful itself. The description of the hosts is completely accurate. We were also provided with helpful information about the area and there was always a quick answer to questions. We will definitely need to come to Copenhagen again and then also a little longer!

We can’t say enough about this wonderful apartment. The location and views were amazing. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The host provided many brochures, maps and a cute welcome sign. We appreciated so much that she had laundry soap available for us to wash our clothes. The host responded immediately to all questions. Definitely will stay here again.

Anders apartment was beautiful and in a great location to easily access Copenhagen. Anders was so helpful and kind in arranging recommendations and assisting with any questions. The apartment beds are super comfortable with clean linens and nice cozy couch. Make sure to explore all the side streets nearby and go to other neighborhoods outside of the city center! We have an infant and the apartment is accessible and quiet. Anders even setup a crib and high chair for us.

Charlotte was a wonderful host. Proactive, responsive, and she shared lots of local tips for transportation, restaurants, and sights. The location was terrific, allowing me easy access to the city and it’s offerings. Although downtown, the few stairwells quickly brought you up from the street to a clean, quiet, well-appointed place. I would certainly stay again and thanks for making my visit to Copenhagen a great experience all around! Grazie!

We booked Charlotte's beautiful apartment for four nights. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a beautiful old building (without elevator). It is very tasteful and modernly furnished. There is a small balcony, an open kitchen, a small bathroom with shower, a large bedroom with a comfortable box spring bed. The living and dining rooms are connected by a beautiful double door. The apartment has a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea! The photos match the equipment. The location of the apartment is great. You can quickly reach the metro and tram. Shops, cafés and restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment is quiet, but still centrally located in a very well-kept neighborhood. The house is clairaudient. Parking is possible in the street, but for a fee (easy to pay via a parking app). Charlotte is very friendly and helpful and gave us many great tips.

The place looked exactly like a real life Pinterest board (and I mean this as the biggest compliment), it was so aesthetic and cozy, a lot of space and it had everything we needed. Really recommend it, we had an amazing stay!
