‘The Hideaway’ amidst the Nidderdale Hills

GillRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved The Hideaway and wished we'd been able to stay for more than one night. Louise was so friendly and helpful, and although we didn't get to meet, we had everything we wanted and quick help when we messaged her with questions about where to eat etc. The Hideaway is immaculately clean and so stylish. The bed was super comfy and the shower fantastic. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with utensils and crockery and Louise had kindly left us fresh eggs (from her gorgeous free ranging chickens, who came to say hello as we arrived), fresh milk and bread and a bakery treat each. It's a light, bright and welcoming apartment with beautiful views over Nidderdale. We had complete privacy and even a little garden space with picnic table and fabulous view. We were delighted to wake to the gentle calls of the curlews in nearby fields and we felt truly 'on holiday'. The sad part was leaving .. we really hope to be back soon and to explore this amazing part of Yorkshire

Waterwheel Cottage

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waterwheel cottage. Great location with lovely hosts. Loads to do in and around Pately Bridge We were just 2 people, so it was very spacious. For those with an OS map, the cottage is at Tiplady Farm.

A cosy, rural retreat in upper Nidderdale

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We were met with a very warm welcome from Ashley, was briefed on places to visit in the surrounding area and in the local. It truly is a beautiful place to be for a very relaxed break away from all the hustle and bustle of life. Our stay was made so much more pleasant by Ashley and Hannah, nothing was too much trouble and always ready to have a friendly chat. Tha accommodation was very cosy and comfortable. Thankyou both for a lovely break. Brian and Sue. PS. Not forgetting good old Hector .

Woodpeckers Holiday Cottage ~ A Yorkshire Retreat!

MicheleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Would not hesitate to recommend Fiona’s charming cottage. Beautifully finished and spotlessly clean, cosy and welcoming. We stayed for a week and used it as a base for exploring York, Harrogate, Ripon and Knaresborough as well as visiting Fountains Abbey and various places in the dales. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay and Fiona provided delightful extras on arrival including delicious homemade cake and scones. Definitely deserves Superhost status. Thank you!

A grand getaway cottage in Masham, North Yorkshire

AnitaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were delighted to be be back in Masham again. Everyone is so friendly, and it’s ideal for visiting or walking in the Dales and the many lovely places nearby. The cottage itself is in a great location too - in the corner of the Market place, yet quiet and peaceful. It has everything we could ask for and is very clean and cosy. Thank you Ulicia, we hope to return again before too long!

Cosy cottage in a quiet corner of Nidderdale

LouiseRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The artists retreat was very easy to find, even though it's quiet & secluded. On arriving you couldn't help being in awe of the gardens, so cottage beautiful. The cottage though petite is perfect for two and very cosy, would reiterate that the stairs are extremely steep so need to be fairly nimble and some doors are low but all in all perfect for us. We took our elderly dog with us and he loved mooching around the garden especially first thing in the morning It is perfectly situated for visiting lots of interesting places, we walked to Brimham Rocks, and also visited Richmond, Pateley Bridge and a must see is the Himalayan Garden and sculpture park - stunning. Could easily do Harrogate too but we ran out of time! Lovely walks from the door to down quiet bridle paths, perfect for an evening stroll. We didn't meet the hosts but had no reason to contact them. We did however meet some neighbours who were really friendly. We must visit again!
