We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 1BHK villa on Mattu Beach, Udupi. The spacious property is clean, well-maintained, and offers private beach access. The peaceful surroundings made it a serene experience. One can easily spot peacocks in the surroundings that added charm to the place. The villa includes a living room, kitchen, bedroom, separate toilet and bathroom with all essentials provided, making our stay very convenient. Special thanks to our host, Vivek, who stayed in touch from the moment we booked. He guided us with the best route from Bangalore and recommended great seafood spots in Mangalore and Udupi. He even insisted we try the delicious Gajbaje Sundae at Naturals – a must-try! We arrived to a warm welcome with hot tea. The caretakers were lovely and served delicious breakfast daily. Their hospitality added to the charm of our stay. Overall, we had an amazing experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Udupi!

The places is close to main road. It has a private garden which is just so pleasant to the mangalore weather. Garden outside and on the top floor it was great and well maintained. Host was extremely responsive and we did not face any irregularities at all during our check in and check out process. We stayed for 2 nights, it felt like home. The place is great. Especially the garden made me feel like our home.

Clean, Easily Accessible, Private, Great location. Host was proactive and checked with us on our arrival time, any particular requests we had on arrival. very spacious stay which our 2 year old boy enjoyed, since he had a lot of space to run and play around. kitchen was clean, neat and had everything we needed for cooking a quick meal or beverage. bathrooms were spacious and clean. balcony had a great view of the sea. Beach was clean, safe and very less crowded. Food is available on demand and has to be ordered from 2 nearby restaurants.I will definitely plan to stay here on our next visits. That being said, due to very close proximity to a religious place, one of the nights during our stay, there were some locals bursting firecrackers, probably due to a village festival, all through the night up until 3 or 4am which disturbed our sleep. Not sure if the host could have done anything about this, but it definitely spoiled our night with the kid constantly waking up by the noise.

What you see is what you get All amenities you can think of are available Just across the beach - least walking distance Kitchen utensils can be upgraded but having utensils / kitchen available itself is a blessing while you are out with elders and kids This was a 5/5 stay, no complaints

This place was a hidden gem. Location was absolutely perfect. It was across the beach which was clean unexplored and just a wide stretch of white sand ! The house was also sufficient, perfect for a large group. The pool was a good size, and added to the house. Ashok got us our supplies and made great homemade food. Also the restaurant Kaai at Nilaya stays had some great food. Only regret is we got to know about surfing lessons the night before we left ! So if you stay here please check at the reception at Nilaya stays and they will hook you up. We were on a week long road trip from Bangalore with 5 adults and 4 kids and everyone loved this place and location the best !

I had a wonderful stay! Oswald was a lovely gentleman—very kind and welcoming. The place itself was beautiful and incredibly spacious. One of the highlights was being able to hear the soothing sound of waves, which made the experience even more relaxing. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Amazing place to stay at. We had no problems whatsoever when it came to amenities and cleanliness. Not only that, but it’s literally next to the main road and beaches are nearby. You can also definitely watch the beach from the balcony which is a nice touch. The location was pretty much in a good spot to visit places like Mulki, Mangalore and Udupi. Thankyou so much to the host for the hospitality.

Lawrence’s Airbnb exceeded expectations and provided a fantastic experience. The property is a spacious 3BHK, equipped with ACs in every room, offering privacy and a serene ambiance. The highlight is the beautiful backwater area, perfect for relaxing throughout the day. Having your own vehicle is recommended for easier access to nearby restaurants, though Zomato delivery is also available. One point to note: there are CCTV cameras in the kitchen and living area. While it’s unclear if they are operational, this should be explicitly mentioned in the listing for transparency. Special thanks to Mr. Ravi, the caretaker, who was exceptionally polite and helpful. Overall, the stay was perfect, and I highly recommend this property. Cheers!
