18th century building in the centre of Knaresborough, private access, check-in after 1500hrs, check-out before 1100hrs. Fully equipped kitchen, walk in shower, UK king sized bed, wifi, 40inch smart TV. Access is at street level. 2-minute walk to the bus and railway station, situated off the market square by the castle. No private parking, 20m past property on left to park to unload as street is narrow. Car parks are very close to the property. Not suitable to host infants, children or pets.

Holly Beck is a beautiful and serene place to stay The cottage is scrupulously clean, has a sublimely comfortable bed and is a great place to relax after a day's walking. The lounge/dining room was particularly spacious for a 2 person cottage and has a lovely view of the garden with its summer house and arbor by the beck. The huge sofa must be even more inviting. in front of the roaring log burner - the only thing missing was a couple of board games, but we'd brought a pack of cards so were ok. Kath and David are incredibly welcoming and kind hosts. Their attention to detail ensured a very pleasurable stay and I would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful weekend

A very peaceful stay. Extremely comfortable sofa and bed an lovely to have a bath in the quiet. It would have been nice to have had a pint of milk, a bottle of water, some butter - just some basic amenities as the shop is a drive. Thankfully I had already bought my own things as I am very familiar with the area; but a note if someone is new to the area or arriv ing late - do bring provisions so you are not caught short. All in all a very peaceful place and a perfect locale to explore all the beauty of North Yorkshire.

This was our second stay at Sam's house and we will definitely return on another trip to Harrogate. She is a wonderfully welcoming host and makes you feel immediately at home. The town is within walking distance and there is a lovely Greenway for walking and cycling just a short walk away from Sam's house. We look forward very much to returning!
