Great Airbnb. Private beach was great for the kids and they enjoyed paddle boat and kayaks. Pleanty of room for everyone. Big kitchen with everything you needed. Loved the back deck. Will recommend to family and friend.

The place was clean, cozy, and it was exactly like the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook. The check-in and check-out and garbage disposal process was very clear and detailed, as the host provided an easy to follow instruction. We'll definitely come back!

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorie's cottage! The cottage was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Despite the first two days being cold and rainy, we had a fantastic time indoors, spending quality time with our kids playing board games and doing puzzles. Once the weather improved, we took full advantage of the lake. The water was warm and perfect for swimming, and we loved having access to kayaks, a pedal boat, and paddle boards. It's the ideal place for a peaceful escape, and we would highly recommend Lorie's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

This cottage was absolutely breathtaking, it was exactly what we were looking a great place overlooking the water, peaceful, relaxing great for all of us to enjoy and unwind. The amenities are endless, kayaks, paddleboards, hot tub, hockey table, hammocks, and an EV charger. We went as a group of 11 and this place was more than spacious. The beds were luxuriously comfortable, the place was immaculately clean! It honestly felt like home.

The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and clearly loved by its owners. The hot tub and sauna were the perfect touches for relaxation, and everything was in excellent working order. Any questions we had were answered immediately, making us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. It’s clear that a lot of thought and attention to detail went into creating such a welcoming space. Sandor made us feel welcome right away! He was also very quick to reply to any and every message, and he made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Our room was clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was very tasty. Location was perfect too. Close to so many good hiking trails and lakes. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband, baby, dog and I had a great stay! The cabin was very clean, and had everything you need. Comfortable bed, clean pool and trails near by. Celebrated Halloween on the weekend, all the kids were dressed up and they had trick or treating through the campsite. Everyone staff and other campers are all so friendly. Would definitely recommend.

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful new years trip staying at this place with multiple families and young children. The property was enormous with lots of space to play in the snow, and the inside was clean and spacious. Kendra was very kind and helped us out with early check-in and late check out, and was quick to help us arrange a solution when we left things behind. We would highly recommend Calabogie House!

We had a great stay at the cabin. We were in town for a family emergency but this cabin was a lovely place to lay our heads and enjoy our morning coffee watching the water. We would definitely visit again under nicer circumstances for vacation in the future.

We just got back from a lovely stay at the cottage on Spectacle Lake, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we truly had a great time. The rain kept us mostly indoors, but the cozy fireplace turned out to be a blessing we spent our time just relaxing, listening to the rain, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The cottage itself is tucked away in such a private, serene spot. Waking up to the sound of birds and looking out over the calm water from every window was incredibly calming. Everything was so clean and well cared for. Waking up to birdsong and calm water views from every window was such a treat. I was thrilled to finally spot a few beaver lodges in the Madawaska Valley — a small dream come true! The cottage was clean, the docks looked great, and having fresh drinking water available was such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. We didn’t get the clear skies we hoped for to stargaze, but that just gives us a reason to come back and we definitely will.

We had a wonderful time at Barkview Hideaway! The owners are clearly experienced hosts, you can tell as soon as you walk into the chalet. They do a great job anticipating guests' needs. The place is cozy, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need and more. Nestled in the forest, it offers stunning views of the lake. The lake itself is gorgeous. We visited during a peaceful time and barely saw anyone else around. It felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. A unique experience! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The view of the water is absolutely stunning, and having such easy access made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying water activities. The place was peaceful, clean, and just as described. The only small thing we missed was a washer and dryer—especially after spending time on the water, it would’ve been helpful to dry our clothes. Still, overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a scenic getaway!

This is our 2nd time staying at Amy's place, it's a great location by the lake with a beach and playground for kids. Very close to Algonquin park. Though it was raining this time when we were visiting, we still enjoyed the peace and nature by the lake. This trailer has everything you need while visiting the area. Amy is super responsive and helpful and we could not happier. Will recommend everyone visiting the are and looking for peaceful stay by the lake....
