Had a great family getaway for a few nights. Peaceful surroundings, easy to find, and close to amenities if needed. Lovely cabin!

Daniel gave a thorough intro message of specifics the day of on top of what was already so clearly laid out. The property was beautiful with access to so many activity options. House is clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the dock which had a great selection of furniture and sun/shade options. The beach is a close walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will likely be back to enjoy the space again!

Very nice and private place with great amenities. Cheryl was very responsive and flexible with check in etc.

We had a wonderful stay for a girls weekend! The indoor and outdoor space was lovely and comfortable. There was so much wild life visiting the outdoor space which made for exciting views! The lake was beautiful, and calm. Our only minor notes were the hottub as it wasn’t at the standards of clean we expected (sand in it and water was slightly murky) and the dock being covered in bird poop and dead fish. All in all, we greatly enjoyed the space and would love to come back for another girls weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The house was very comfortable for our family of 8 as we celebrated my parents’ 50th anniversary. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were very clean, and the space felt welcoming. The location was ideal — close to popular attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. The owner was a gracious and thoughtful host who genuinely cared about our comfort. We truly appreciated his kindness and responsiveness throughout our stay.

Penny’s place was great: every little detail has been thought through, instructions clear, host very responsive. The house and surrounding area were beautiful - clear lake; lots of outside sitting areas, bbqs, hot tub, fully furnished kitchen, etc. The house was spotless - very clean; lots of towels, robes, linens. Lastly, Penny was very accommodating and kind given that we had one older person in our group with limited mobility (the house is well equipped for accessibility - super rare for AirBnbs). Thank you, Penny!

The place was beautiful, looking out onto a lake with clean swimmable water. And there was a beach only 5 minutes away. Everything inside the house was clean and well-stocked. Richard was also very responsive with any inquiries. Overall, a great place, very well worth it!

We had a great time at Todd's place. Julie and Todd were both easy to reach and helpful whenever we had questions! The location is beautiful and there was a lot to do around the area! would recommend!!

We happened to come during mayfly season, so there were tons of them outside and we couldn’t have a campfire at night, which was a bit disappointing. But the host was super kind and helpful, and the place had everything we needed. During the day, we still got to go boating and had a nice BBQ, and spent three amazing nights indoors. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

Sandy's home is beautiful, well fitting out, has everything one needs in a home away from home. The neighborhood is very peaceful with very nice houses, a great place to take walks from. Sandy was friendly in her communication and generously offered us an early check in and late check out, which we took the benefit of to enjoy our break to the fullest. :) I would definitely recommend it for visits by parties of 6 to 8 people. Just one thing to be aware of - the grocery store is a distance away so it'll be good to bring all the essentials or make a trip at the start of your trip to get whatever you need.

Such a gorgeous property and stunning views! The main living area had views from both south and north views of the lake since it is on a point. Stocked with everything we needed. Was a lovely weekend to honour my late uncle with my family. Balsam lake was his favourite spot. We went up the weekend after the huge ice storm so the place was running on a generator, which actually stopped working for a bit but the owners were on top of it as soon as they heard. They were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again in nicer weather! 🙌🙌

Cottage is totally unique being on a point with water on two sides. Architecture is modern and very comfortable. Two larger bedrooms are the same size so great to share with another couple. Views include Goffat Island and McCrae Provincial Park so lots of greenery. With the pick of two sides to paddle you can stay out of the wind. I have been coming to Lake Simcoe for over 50 years and I have never heard so many loon cries! And trumpeter swans for visuals. Firepit has great views! We had a great time.

What a great place! We had 11 people. 6 adults and 5 children. There were beds for everyone and because the weather was crap (totally not Byron’s fault - LOL) we were inside most of the weekend. There was enough space and internet bandwidth to keep everyone happy and engaged! Everything was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed! Hope to rent this next year for family fun weekend!

This is a gem find. It was so comfortable and situated 3 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The kitchen was very well equipped the fire pit, the BBQ the outdoor sitting areas were awesome. The beds were comfortable and we slept so well. There is a huge TV with so many channels and content to watch. So easy to settle into a movie after dinner. Very comfortable sitting area. We were 3 adults and we all had space to have some downtime and also to enjoy our company. We would swim and go for 5 km beach walks and drive to very cute small towns and discover the tasty bakeries and cool stores. Everyone we met was so lovely and very relaxed. We had a wonderful time and recommend this pace to everyone. Peaceful, fully equipped, comfortable and 3 minutes from a beautiful beach! What can be better. This renovated 3-bedroom cottage was a fantastic find—quiet, private, a few minutes’ drive from the public beach/local parks. While you’ll need a car to access amenities, the location is peaceful. The exterior could use post-winter TLC—a cleanup of spring debris and a good wash. The inside of the cottage is spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully laid out. The photos don’t capture how roomy and comfortable it is. The beds were comfortable; fresh and dining areas were well-appointed. We were five adults and had more than enough space to spread out and enjoy. One minor drawback was the unreliable internet—it needed frequent resets and wasn’t great for streaming or remote work. Our host, Mandy, was excellent: friendly, quick to respond, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. If you plan to cook, bring all ingredients. The KEURIG coffee maker was fun to use and there were a few K cup pods for us when we arrived. We had a fabulous time and would return in a heartbeat.

Great place for large family

For my birthday last weekend, I was looking for a cottage to getaway for work and to celebrate, and I immediately fell in love with this cozy little house when I saw it. It has everything I could ask for to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, just like home. I spent my birthday here, and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The Scandinavian interior style is my absolute favorite, and every detail of the decor and soft furnishings was perfectly chosen. It’s clear that the owner, Lina, put a lot of thought and care into making this space feel like a true home for visitors. Each room was spotless, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Lina is incredibly understanding and accommodating. We all had an amazing time and are so grateful for this experience. Five stars aren’t enough to express how much we enjoyed our stay and how this beautiful house made our birthday weekend so memorable. Highly recommend!
