This home is awesome, so close to everything and has everything you need. Unfortunately, the pool heating wasn't playing ball but we were able to take advantage of the spa.

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

We had a fantastic time at Nikki and Chris’s place. The house is spacious, comfortable, and set in beautiful surroundings. Even in winter, we made the most of the backyard and loved relaxing in the spa pool. The bedrooms can get a bit chilly, but the extra blankets were a thoughtful touch. The fireplace kept the rest of the house warm and cosy throughout our stay. The beds were super comfortable, and the house was spotless. Thanks so much, Nikki and Chris, for your warm hospitality and great communication — we hope to come back in summer!

Incredible spot overlooking the ocean and Cavalli Islands. House is really well laid out for a mixed age group with one bedroom and lounge area seperate from main living. Plenty of parking and room for the boat, fishing was excellent! Great stay for a week.

One of the most unique airbnbs, with one of the best views in the world. Believe all the reviews! This Bach hidden away along the north coast of nz is stunningly breathtaking! 360degree views, islands, boats, sunsets, the calm Pacific Ocean, birds, dolphins, completely private and you’re own gorgeous beach! What more can you ask for really??? We were two but the bach comfortably fits more! And has everything you need! We will definitely keep coming back! What a rare find! We could not recommend Katharine’s place enough! It is one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at. We were absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views of Matauri Bay - that you can see from nearly every angle of the home. The home is beautifully furnished inside and out and has everything you need and more. The peace, quiet and privacy of the home make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and the well thought out features of the home such as the outdoor shower. Katharine was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Fantastic place. Very well placed for the beaches and only a short drive into Mangonui for restaurants. Very comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. Highly recommended.

This is the ultimate beach retreat, right at the start of 90-mile beach! The view is unbelievable, the house is incredibly well-designed and maintained, and we could not have been happier with our stay. And Renèe was a fantastic host, even reaching out during our visit to ensure a big storm hadn't disrupted our visit. Excellent service!

I would like to start off by saying how peaceful and beautiful and majestic this land is. The farmhouse is an amazing place to stay if you want some peace and quiet if you want to be able to see the Milky Way at night or wake up to cows and sheep in the morning. It was a last-minute Airbnb find for myself and my friend and Marissa was fabulous! She came over and made sure the house was good for us and when we got there, she also left us four fresh eggs, some freshly made hot cross buns, and some milk for the coffee. I felt like home!! The kitchen is unbelievable. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t wanna wake up. The sunrises over the mountains and the mist on the fields was beautiful. We got the most beautiful pictures of the sunrise and also some amazing pictures of the stars at night. I would recommend anybody in that area. The farmhouse is the place to go! Marissa and her husband showed us this beautiful scenic route to drive which we did and it was fabulous! The Farmhouse rocks
