Holiday rentals with a kayak in Kentucky Lake

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this house. We had plenty of room to spread out, and really had a great time playing pool and Pac-Man and foosball. The views from the huge windows were so beautiful. Very comfortable furniture all around. Plenty of towels and sheets and blankets. Nice little extras in the bathrooms. 10/10 ⭐️

Melissa was very helpful and responded to our questions quickly. The house was cute and comfortable!

Doc Holiday never disappoints. This is our third year for the family vacation of kids and grandkids. The view from the deck is outstanding. There are many steps down to the boat slip provided with the property. The steps are well maintained and have a railing all the way down. Only little challenging for me at 70 but it worth it to have our boat in the slip. Bedrooms are located on both the main floor and upstairs. Master suite is upstairs.

We had a very relaxing weekend. The expansive deck was lovely for sitting and reading. The private dock was excellent for us to go fishing at all times of the day. The home itself is beautiful, with charming architecture and touches, and wonderfully furnished. Plenty of space inside and out, with everything we needed and more.

We had a great stay at Melissa‘s place! The weather didn’t really cooperate for us, but the cabin was so cozy, and the hot tub is under a covered porch so everything worked out. There was plenty of seating and several bedrooms so this was a great place for our family of four, but it would also work for a larger group.

Our family had a fantastic time! We said the pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful setting, really nice home with everything you could need. Fire pit was very nice and we loved using the kayaks. We were impressed by how many kayaks, chairs, floats at the pool, towels etc provided. Even two fridges. It was well equipped for our large family! The bird watching was a bonus. Thank you for everything!

This place is wonderful! Gorgeous lake views! We loved the kayaks and being right on the water! The place is spotless, the pantry well stocked, lots of comfy places to sit, and the beds were fabulous too!! We were greeted with a nice welcome bowl of assorted goodies, such a welcoming touch to make us feel right at home! Ronnie was very easy to communicate with! Highly recommend!!!

A very special location. If you love nature, this home has it. Beautiful view of the lake. The home has so many places to sit and enjoy the view with its large deck and porch There are public boat launches and beaches in the area as this property is not directly on the water. Our family rented a pontoon boat for the afternoon and rode to be able to see the house from the water. What a fun picture!

Wow. This place was absolutely beautiful! It was definitely amazing it! We loved this place so much it felt just like home and it was very peaceful! The dock was so fun to fish off of, lots of room on the dock as well so bonus in my book! We’ve caught lots of fish so fishing definitely wasn’t a problem, we caught 3 huge catfish within one hour! Everything was nicely cleaned, the instructions on everything were very easy to understand! The hot tub was definitely my favorite part! We will definitely be recommending/revisiting!

A great place to get away! Was so peaceful and relaxing! A wonderful way to get away from everyday stresses. Got some of the best sleep of my life as well. The scenery was breathtaking!

We had another great stay, this place is so very beautiful and peaceful! We love to come and just relax and unwind. The kitchen was newly renovated and looks fantastic! Hope to come again!

The pictures give an accurate representation of what the unit and surrounding property looks like. Pictures can only do so much, though. What I would like to add is that everything was squeaky clean, that the floors look brand new and the walls were freshly painted in a serene color. Also, the beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were soft and felt luxurious. I communicated with Brandi prior to checking in and she was extremely responsive and a friendly person. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

We were attending an event up the road, and the location of Tony's cabins could not be beat! The cabins are exactly as described - rustic-style fishing cabins - so if you need anything 'extra' be sure to bring it along with you. We had a great stay, the cabins were quiet and comfortable, and definitely car camping like some of the other event attendees opted for! :)

Our stay was perfect! Exactly what we needed! Restful and peaceful - we sat outside and watched the sunset, enjoyed breakfast each morning on the back porch and it was glorious! A short 30 min drive and we were able to spend a great afternoon at a State Park and enjoyed a beautiful hike. The host was wonderful, allowed for a late check out and was very responsive to any inquiry - we definitely recommend this location and l will certainly be back!

Exceeded our expectations! They met us at the cabin and showed us around and made sure we didn’t have any questions. It’s such a historic experience, the place is just stunning. Excellent for a family getaway. Be sure to take the hike through the woods while you’re visiting. Walk a chair down to the creek and put your feet in the water, or take a peaceful walk down it. Sit and have coffee on one of two porches and listen to the water and wildlife. It’s a must to have s’mores by the fire pit as well. We had nightly visits from an armadillo couple and the same with turkeys. There is so much to do you almost need to stay longer than a week! Our schedule didn’t allow for a canoe/kayak trip down the Yellowcreek this visit, but you bet it’ll be on the list next time. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing stay, you two have put a lot of hard work into the cabin, and we’re grateful that you’re sharing it!!!

This little place was amazing. There are breathtaking views from the cabin. the cabin is modern but also rustic, which we enjoyed. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. We rented a golf cart for our stay and the boys loved riding around on it. The boys enjoyed the community pool as well. Everybody is so laid-back and friendly. We rented a pontoon and a tube for one day and had a blast!!! We would highly recommend doing that if you have teenagers. Pagliai’s had delicious pizza and it’s only about 20 minutes away. There’s also a gas grill on the deck that works great. The place is stocked pretty well with basics for cooking. The Running Rooster antique/thrift shop is right next to/ behind the resort. It’s worth a visit, very friendly people and fun items to look at. We would definitely consider coming back again. We had a great time at Holiday Hills!

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Lake House in Cadiz, KY on Lake Barkley! The view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the lake each morning was such a treat. The location couldn't have been better, tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private, yet close to everything we needed, including a nearby marina where we rented a pontoon boat. The property has a boat dock allowing us to dock the rental right there. The house itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities we could ask for. It easily accommodated our large family, with plenty of room for those staying overnight and those just visiting for the day. Whether we were enjoying games inside, grilling on the deck, or relaxing outdoors with the lake in view, there was something for everyone. The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaw
