House holiday rentals in Kentucky Lake

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Lindsay's place! Good location if your looking to experience the LBL area and very accommodating for pets and children!

We had a few minor issues due to us being the first people to stay here for the season, but Jennifer responded immediately anytime I messaged her to resolve anything. She even had her husband and son come help me with the gas fireplace. House was extremely spacious, the pictures do not do it justice. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to it being winter, but we are excited to come back and stay again when the weather is warmer.

Great place would definitely stay once again

The blue Oasis lives up to it's name. Everything was clean and clutter free. The outdoor space was comfortable and peaceful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy the lake view.

The cabin was so comfortable and we felt right at home. The view of the lake was beautiful from the deck. We loved starting our day sitting out there enjoying our coffee. There was so much to do without leaving the resort: swimming, fishing, kayaking, basketball and games on the deck. We had family ranging from 10 to 86 years old. Everyone was happy! The staff was so welcoming and helpful. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our family to meet.

Katherine’s place was great with a beautiful view of the lake! The house was very inviting, and felt like home. Would absolutely stay here again.

Our family had a fantastic time! We said the pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful setting, really nice home with everything you could need. Fire pit was very nice and we loved using the kayaks. We were impressed by how many kayaks, chairs, floats at the pool, towels etc provided. Even two fridges. It was well equipped for our large family! The bird watching was a bonus. Thank you for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. We had a lovely dinner out on the back patio. We didn’t have any issues and everything we needed was there at the house. It was within driving distance of the grocery store and anything that we needed. We were very comfortable.

This was one of the better airbnbs we have ever stayed at. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. The owner had great communication as well. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view of the lake, bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Hostess was easy to communicate with. Home had everything we needed.

Our stay was phenomenal! The house and location were beautiful. Everything we needed was provided and any questions we had were quickly answered by Tom. I highly recommend this house for future guests. Additionally, the location makes it highly attractive for fishing. Close by to multiple marinas and sought after fishing areas, such as Blood River and Jonathan Creek. Fishing directly off the rocky point is a great option to catch catfish while enjoying the camp fire. We will be back again.

While the accommodations are fairly simple, and a bit cozy, the place was clean and comfortable and convenient for my needs. About the area - Stop for groceries before you arrive, because the nearest good supermarket is 20 minutes away. There is a Food Giant closer, but selection and quality there is marginal, at best. Hosts are great folks, and the surroundings are pleasant and peaceful. You will be hearing traffic cross the bridge that is fairly near behind the property, though.

very peaceful with a good view of the woods. the house has a modern beach house feel and is roomy. no phone service though, but there is wifi.

We had a very relaxing weekend. The expansive deck was lovely for sitting and reading. The private dock was excellent for us to go fishing at all times of the day. The home itself is beautiful, with charming architecture and touches, and wonderfully furnished. Plenty of space inside and out, with everything we needed and more.

If we could give a higher rating than 5 stars, we would! Perched in the trees, with a breathtaking view of the lake and our own private dock, this house was perfect. The home itself was immaculate, with the upper level giving off an upscale, lake vibe, while the lower level (both with their own decks), was fun and kid-friendly, games and foosball table included. The owner and property manager were incredibly accommodating and quick to meet all of our family’s needs. Our family made incredible memories here that will last a lifetime, and we will most definitely return in the future! Thank you so very much for everything and we would recommend this property to anyone and everyone!

I have to say how grateful I am that Eric was so awesome in his communication and how fantastic this home was. The four man group of Major League Officials that stayed were all super impressed with this home away from home. Extremely comfortable beds, super clean throughout the home and lots of hot water lol. We enjoyed the well furnished kitchen and used it extensively. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to be close to the lakes, enjoys a beautiful 1880's style village with grocery and restaurants close by and near the Kentucky Lake State Park. Lots of parking for a boat or two also. We will return here the next time we visit Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake. Thank You very much Eric - Your Place Is AWESOME!!!

Diane was a great host! the cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. we enjoyed the porch swings and utdoor amenities. we didn't want to leave. The kitchen was STOCKED...not just a pot or two and silverware. we grilled and enjoyed supper on the porch the second night. so well kept and clean. The best weekend away we have had in a while. Also I had left a couple items behind the door that Diane messaged me about and was so helpful and went out of her way to leave with family to bring back home! 12/10 all the way around🥰

Very nice place. Peaceful and secluded. The hosts are very responsive. We had a couple minor issues during our stay, but they came out and fixed them quickly. It’s definitely worth your stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend. The host has thought of so many amenities to make the stay a wonderful one. The views were gorgeous. We will stay again.

we had a very nice, comfortable stay at Little Bear Retreat. Everything we needed was there. Prior to our trip we asked about a DVD player and James provided one before we arrived. We received immediate responses to all our questions. We would definitely stay there if we were ever in Gilbertsville again.

Location is outstanding with easy walk to Breakers for live music and good food. Plenty of space for entertaining. Well appointed. This was our second visit and we would definitely book again.

Great, family friendly place to stay! I think this is the cleanest property that we’ve stayed at! Very responsive and kind hosts! We really liked the central room to hang out in with bedrooms off the main area. Overall great experience!
